"This is why I tell you not to over work yourself. But do you listen?Of course not. My words just goes in one ear and out the other." Lisa nags on endlessly like a fall from a canyon, throwing a hand in the air."You even had Taehyung call in a doctor. "

"I'm not."

"You're doing this on purpose aren't you? I get that you're stressed over your parents but pushing yourself to the point of collapsing? What would've happened if Taehyung wasn't by your side?"

You rub the area between your eyebrows like you're about to have a headache.

"I'd be road kill." You murmer.

It's funny how she isn't even putting too much thought regarding Taehyung's ability to have a doctor over with just one call.

It's currently seven in the evening. So that means you were out for three hours.

Lisa extends a glass of water to which you accept silently.

You're currently in bed with no memories of how you got here.

But according to Lisa, it was Taehyung who carried you back after you had blacked out.

They left shortly after making sure you were okay.

It's no lie that you've been testing your limits the past few days.

Purposely staying up all night only to distract yourself with the cafe in the day time.

All these stress, sleepless nights, negative thoughts?

Are due to some family issues that you rather keep to yourself.

After taking a sip, you place the glass on the night stand and release an exhausted sigh.

A snicker ticks out of Lisa's tongue and that's when you know she's about go get serious.

"Listen Y/n. " The bed dips with her weight and she looks you straight in the eye. "You know I love you a lot right? I'd even pull out anyone's hair if I knew they bothered you. But there are also times when I just want hit you with a hammer and tear your limbs apart. You know that too right?"

You lift an eyebrow. "Your point?"

After staying silent for a few seconds, Lisa draws back and drags her finger through her hair, sighing in a defeated manner.

"What I'm trying to say is that I can't stand seeing you like this. Sometimes it makes me feel useless. I want to help my bestfriend, but how am I suppose to do that if she doesn't want to be helped?"

Lips glued to a thin line, your gaze diverts else where than her expecting eyes.

You know she means well. But there are just some things better off not bringing up.

You have no plans on saying anything tonight and she notices.

So like always, Lisa doesn't push. Instead, she lets you know you can always count on her to be around.

"I'm here if you need me." Her voice comes out softly. When you look back, a small smile hovers her lips. "I won't force you to tell me anything but just know that I'll be here if you need someone to talk to okay?"

"I know."

With that, Lisa hops out of bed and glides her palm down to remove the invisible crease from her shirt.

"If you don't need anything I'm going to bed now."

"Dream of Jin tonight." You respond.

Heat rising the curve of Lisa's cheeks, she clears her throat and reaches for the door knob. "S-shut up. I'm going now. "

Next Day

“Have a good afternoon.”

The little girl with two adorable pig tails shyly brings her hand up to wave you a good bye.

After doing the same, you watch the family of three step out of the shop.

Then without knowing it, your mind drifts off into space.

That's until Lisa pops up to bring you back to reality by flickering her fingers in your face. “Hello? Earth to Y/n? Just a few more customers and we’re closing shop.”

"You got it boss."

Lisa cringes. "Don't call me that."

It doesn't take long before the sun begins to sink. A colorful shade of orange, purple and yellow colors the sky of Seoul.

Refreshing and breathtaking.

Twisting your two fingers, a day's word ends with the close sign facing the world.

It's been a long day.

And right now, you're craving the warmth of you bed.

You want to clean up and leave as soon as possible.

Halfway through the process, it begins raining.

The pattering of nature’a sweet lullaby increasing with each passing second to fill one's ear with bliss.

You love rain.

You really do.

But some of us could say otherwise.

“Great! It’s raining.” Lisa grumbles. She walks back to where her backpack's at and fishes for her phone.

Sometimes you think it's ironic how two of your bestfriends both hate the rain.

First Jimin, and now Lisa.

You wonder how Jimin’s doing.

“Awesome. See you soon."

“Why are you smiling?” You're asking because you think it's suspicious.

The girl shrugs her shoulders before saying. “Jin’s picking us up.”

Given that you got nothing more to get suspicious for, you decide resume cleaning.

“And Taehyung’s bringing his car too, so.” The mop stops moving and Lisa has a cheeky smile on her face. “You’re gonna ride with him.”

Next thing you know, you're standing under the roof of the cafe watching two vibrant cars come to a stop.

“Over here!” The girl beside you yells in excitement and you grimace.

If Jin hadn't revealed his undying love towards your best friend, you'd have tagged along with then instead.

It's not like you hadn't tried leaving before they arrived. Because you did. But that was until Lisa held your bag hostage.

The key to your shared home's inside. And your phone too. Even you money.

In other words, you had no choice.

“I’ll see you at home.” Is all that comes out of Lisa before she dives into the passenger seat of the red vehicle.

You momentarily lock gazes with Jin, catching his eyes practically glowing with adoration as they stay glued on your bestfriend.

You roll your eyes.

After Jin’s car’s out of view, a black one takes its place and you unconsciously shudder at the thought of having to get stuck with this person again.

The tinted window rolls down, revealing the man himself with a soft smile on his lips.

“I know my car’s handsome and all-well not as much as me but are you gonna stand there all night or what?”

When on earth did this guy earn such confidence to speak about himself like this? Seoul's already got Jin doing the job and they surely don’t need another one.

But as much as you wanted to call him off, you can’t deny the truth in his words.

He's perfect.

And he knows it.

“Well?”

You want to punch his face so bad.

But with your money held captive by Lisa, you can't let this opportunity slide.

You're having a hard time clicking the belt in.

Taehyung's hand suddenly glide above yours and they're as cold as ice.

He takes the belt away and within a second, the clicking sound hits the air.

He lifts his head up only to meet with your already wide eyes.

He's close.

Way to close.

You look like a firetruck.

"Relax Y/n.” He chuckles in amusement before drawing back to his seat.

With his hand on the wheel, he brings the car to motion.

Taehyung's eyes are narrowed down to focus on the road.

He's scheming the area with his bottom lip tucked in between his pearly whites.

His arms uncontrollably flex as he clutches tightly around the steering wheel and you decide that it’d be for the best to not go any lower than that.

“Quit staring, Princess."

Your eyes snap wide in horror.

He caught you staring.

By the time you turn to face him, a hot smirk can be seen playing on his lips.

You have no idea how hard it is for me to focus right now. I can't have us involved in an accident after finally getting you back.”
