Lisa sounds like she's about to snap your neck in two with how much she's breathing beside you. Blinking, she diverts her attention to you for the second time.

You've been sending fire towards the man sitting across you for a good three minutes now.

There's a table resting in between both your bodies.

A while ago, Lisa had to practically force you to a sit on the other end to prevent you from attacking him like some voracious predator.

Your hair's a mess. You're still in your pajamas and you don't have any plans to take your glare elsewhere.

He's there, looking at you with one side of his lips tugging up into an arrogant smirk.

You want to punch that look away. But thank goodness there's a God who hear silent prayers.

That annoying look soon fades when an object comes flying across the room, smacking him hard against the strong curve of his jaw.

His eyes twitch from the suddenness, bottom lip tucked in between his white pearls to restrain a painful yelp from escaping the depths of his throat.

Now it was your turn to smirk, satisfied.

If Jin hadn't just tossed a pack of ice at him, then you'd no doubt pounce out from your spot and attack him again.

Taehyung winces vaguely at the impact but still manages to catch the object in time before it hits solid flat on the ground, gently bringing the coldness to rub his face right after.

"Okey. Care to explain what just happened?" Lisa speaks like she's about to explode due to curiosity.

Awhile ago, a fter hearing a loud thump  upstairs, Jin and Lisa instantly dropped whatever they were holding and immediately ran towards the source of the voice only to find you aggressively tugging Taehyung's poor hair as he struggles to escape your violating hands.

"What's there to explain? He thought it was a good idea to scare me." You nudge your head mockingly. "He obviously saw that punch coming."

Taehyung glares at you and you bitterly smile at him. Between the two of us, who exactly has the right to glare?

Then again. It's probably fair. Thanks to that surprise, you were able to gift him an unexpected present as well. A purple bruise to decorate his face. That's probably the only reason why you're able to hold yourself back for this long.

"Taehyung." Jin growls.

The situation makes you roll your eyes to the side.

Jin's sitting across from Lisa. You're sitting across Taehyung.

It's the four of you and the heavy tension forming in between.

It's like a family where both parent's ready to ground their naughty children after catching them having a war of tug-and-punch.

"Appologize." Jin adds, and Taehyung snaps. "How was I suppose to know she couldn't take a little joke!"

Is this guy for real?

Just a little joke?

He uninvitedly trespassed your room like some kind of ninja, attacked you with his contagious deep voice-that scared the living daylights out of you, and then claims that all of that. Was a joke.

"You do not jut sneak up to a person from behind and scare them like that." You tell him while gradually trying to keep you voice in control. "Especially since I just woke up."

That's right. Since your brain was fresh from the oven, you percieved the sitaution of your surroundings with more awareness than when you're half tired. Taehyung chose the wrong time and the wrong trick.

"Why'd you let him into my room anyway. " Now that you think about it, how exactly did he end up there?

The girl merely huffs at your words, unable to look you in the eye as she curiously gaze at Taehyung and mutters. "Why do you hate him? I don't get it."

The next few minutes that follows is silent.

Hate him?

Well, what Lisa said isn't entirely true nor is is wrong. You don't actually hate the dude.

You just don't know what you feel towards him honestly or. Maybe you do?

Its just that. Whenever you're around him, you feel like you're getting rolled in oil then powdered with floor. You feel sticky and heavy, confused and not to mention you're weirded out by him.

There's just something about his presence that screams familiar, yet mysterious at the same time.

You want to know what it is. You feel like you know it. But you can't quite pinpoint what it is exactly.

As if to allow the tension to decrease, everyone remains quiet. The heavy atmosphere eventually subsidies and Taehyung takes that as his cue to break the ice.

"Sorry."

Its faint. A deep, strangle mumble but the sincere melody still drips from his tone.

Sorry.

This really does remind of a scene where parents make sure their kids are on good terms with each other after a fight.

The only difference is that. Lisa and Jin aren't married and Taehyung and I are nowhere blood related.

The sudden loud clap coming from Lisa was all it took to get you out from your little trance and your eyes away from Taehyung.

You bite your lips bite when you realized Taehyung caught you staring.

He noticed how the look in your eyes had turned completely different from how you were they were the first few minutes of your quarrel.

Previously, it looked like you were ready to go on a battle field. With an imaginary sharp sword ready to pierce through his heart and eventually end his life.

But the look after that. Showed sadness.

"Great!" She cheers, her face brightened up in excitement contrast from the gloomy, exasperated, fed-up Lisa you all witnessed a while ago. "Now back to choosing a movie! Hop on it!"
