Day- Thursday

Someone was stroking my hair gently to wake me up. I groaned and turned over, keeping my eyes firmly closed and sucking on the pacifier that was still in my mouth. I heard a chuckle before a voice. "Come on cutie, it's time to get up."
"Jake?" I mumbled, rubbing my eyes and turning back over to see a blurry version of my boyfriend standing over my crib.
"There she is! You can have a minute to wake up then come join us in the kitchen, okay?" I nodded and he smiled at me before leaving. My diaper felt quite wet and cold but the feeling of warmth came seconds later. I figured I must have been too tired to know I needed the toilet and sat up, smiling at the squishing under me as I shuffled to the edge and got out of my crib. My diaper seemed quite full but I didn't mind it too much. I simply placed my pacifier down in my crib and left the little room, shouting 'daddy' from the top of the stairs. He came running up the stairs to see me standing there, diaper bulging out of the sides where my snaps were on the onesie. He gave a relieved sigh, picking me up.
"I thought you were hurt or something! But you just need a diaper change."
"Sorry daddy, my diaper is very full though. What's for breakfast?" He felt my diaper with one hand as we re-entered my little room.
"Breakfast is just cereal today, I hope that's okay." He placed me gently down on my changing table, starting the changing process. "Oh, how's your pain today?"
"Cereal is fine and I'm not in too much pain. I know I only have a few days worth of the painkillers left anyway."
"That's true, you can have some with your breakfast." The rest of the change was done in silence and it was the same process as always. Diaper off, wipe, powder and cream before a clean diaper. Then we went downstairs where Jake had placed a few bowls on the table with a big bottle of milk and a selection of cereal boxes.
"All good?" He asked, getting up to kiss my nose.
"Yeah. There's quite a selection here." I giggled, kissed his cheek and sat down.
"I didn't know what you like so I just grabbed everything out." Both boys sat down and I grabbed the box of Coco Shreddies. "Good choice." Jake said, pouring the milk in for me until I said stop. I was too busy eating and making my milk turn into chocolate milk to pay much attention to what they were talking about. I mostly heard snippets about today's plan. Tomoyo would be coming round again and Jake has to go home later. Other than that I didn't notice anything else. I finished my cereal, drinking the yummy chocolate milk.
What time is Tomo coming round?" I asked, looking between them for an answer. It was Wynter who provided it.
"He said he'd make it here for 11 so we have an hour."
"I'm going to grab my phone and get changed. I'll be back in a minute." They nodded so I stood up and started my walk up the stairs. I looked at my bedroom door for a moment and decided that I would go in there soon, maybe within the next few days. I needed to face my fears and overcome what happened to me in there. There's plenty of time to make good memories in that room, I just needed to keep reminding myself of that. I entered Wynter's room and saw a few choices of clothing for the day had already been laid out on the bed, deciding on a plain purple onesie and some black shorts. I found one of my chokers, black and spiked and clipped it around my neck. Next I looked at my phone, I had a message from Josh and a lot from Kaydeen that I was still going to ignore.
Josh: Hey, that record shop is having a sale for a week starting tomorrow if you want to come on the first day? It's up to you though.
Angel: Yeah that sounds good, I'll meet you around 1pm okay?
Josh: Sounds good, see you then.
I wondered if I should tell Wynter about this but I already knew what his reaction would be and I'm old enough to make my own decisions. I'm almost 18! No you're not, you're a baby. The annoying voice in my head spoke and I rolled my eyes, trying my best to ignore that as well. I put my hair up into a ponytail, my fringe hiding part of my face as usual. Throwing the brush on the bed when I was done I made my way back downstairs, texting Tomoyo on the way.
Angel: Do you know if there's a plan for today? I expected to wait for a while to get a reply but it came almost instantaneously.
Tomoyo: I figured we'd all just hang out in the house or maybe go see a film or something?

Angel: Sounds good to me, we'll look at what films are on today when you get here. See you soon.
My phone went straight into my pocket, Kaydeen seeming to have given up by now. When I entered the kitchen Jake's phone started ringing so he went out into the back garden to take the call. I sat next to Wynter who smiled at me, noticing the concentrated look on my face.
"What's on your mind?"
"Huh?" I was pulled out of my thoughts by his voice and I looked at his amused expression.
"I said, what's on your mind? Silly princess." I blushed from him having to repeat himself for me.
"Sorry, there's just been something I've wanted to ask you for a while now." He raised an eyebrow at me.
"Which is?"
"Well, I was just wondering," I paused for a second, biting my lip before blurting out my question, "why haven't you had a girlfriend?" His jaw dropped slightly, opening and closing as if he was trying to speak but nothing was coming out. He took a deep bread, readying himself to give an answer.
"That's because I don't like girls. I'm gay, Angel." His eyes dropped to his hands, refusing to look back up at me.
"Oh, okay. That's cool. Thank you for telling me, you didn't have to." I smiled as he slowly looked back up at me.
"You're not creeped out?" My eyes furrowed naturally when he said this and I shook my head.
"Of course not! Does Jake know?" His smile was bigger than I'd ever seen it.
"Not yet, we can tell him when he comes back in. Knowing your reaction gives me confidence that when I tell people, the right ones will stay in my life. I leaned over and hugged him, just then Jake walked back in.
"What's all this hugging for and where's mine?"
"Bro, I didn't know you cared so much." Wynter winked at him and we all laughed.
"Fuck off mate. You know I meant my girl." He stuck his tongue out and I got up, hugging him tight. Wynter cleared his throat and I held Jake's hand, nodding towards him to urge him on.
"There was a reason for the hugging and that reason is that, erm." I could see he was struggling and gave a sympathetic smile. He took a deep breath and continued. "I'm gay. I've known for a long time but I thought that people would leave if I told them." He looked at Jake, expecting him to be angry, upset, anything.
"Wynter." Jake said, followed by a small pause in which neither me nor Wynter dared move or say anything. "I've known you since forever. You really think I wouldn't notice you're not straight? You were checking me out as soon as I started working out! I figured you weren't straight but only realised you're gay when you never had a single girlfriend." He let go of my hand, pulled Wynter up off his chair and hugged him. "I would never look at you any different. Honestly, I was glad when you stopped trying to sneakily check me out but I'm flattered that you like my body." They pulled away with Wynter looking like he was about to cry but he fought back the tears.
"Leave me alone alright! You're the first guy I properly saw topless and I was going through puberty. I never wanted anything with you!" He playfully punched Jake's arm and they smiled at each other. "Thanks bro. With you and Angel by my side I can handle coming out. But how I do that is a different story entirely."
"Whatever you decide, we're here with you every step of the way." I said, grinning at both of them.

We waited for Tomoyo to arrive in the living room, watching a show on Netflix called Disenchantment. When the doorbell rang Wynter practically leapt off the sofa. He composed himself quickly but still walked very fast towards the door to open it. I looked over at Jake who had the same look on his face as I did. Before we could say anything though, Wynter was in the doorway with the small boy almost hiding behind him. "Hey Tomo!" I waved at him and he gave a small wave back with a gloved hand, accompanied by a smile. I took in his outfit for the day seeing he was wearing a shirt with a cartoon character I didn't recognise and jeans that had a small bunny picture on one of the pockets that I only saw when he raised his arm. Other than that his usual backpack was slung over one shoulder and his hair was as messy as always.
"Plan for today?" Jake asked with a yawn. I stood, dragging him up and off the sofa.

"Let's go look at film listings on the laptop and see if there's anything we want to watch."
"That sounds like a plan." He lazily walked with me up the stairs as we followed Wynter and Tomoyo up. There were a couple of questions floating through my head about Tomoyo. Why did he always wear gloves and why was there a scar over his left eye? These were questions I knew I had to be careful about as he was already shy enough, I didn't want to scare him off. I knew his mother Jane to be a famous businesswoman and I figured that couldn't be easy for him. His father was an author before he passed away, everyone saw it on the news when it happened and people still talk about it. Jane is constantly on the news but I never really paid much attention to what exactly she does. When we arrived upstairs I realised something that I should have thought about before now.
"Uh, Tomo?"
"Yeah?" He turned to me, looking like a deer caught in headlights, seeming terrified that he'd done something wrong.
"Do you have any ID? It's just that, well..."
"I look like a child and no one believes I'm 16?" He relaxed, speaking quietly with a small laugh and nodding in agreement. "I have a passport, give me a minute." He pulled his phone out of his pocket and left the room while Wynter found the film listings on his laptop.
"How does The Meg sound?" Wynter asked, glancing at us.
"Shark movies are so overrated!" Jake said, followed by, "how about Slenderman?"
"You really want to put me and Tomo through a horror? I don't know how well he'd handle it but I definitely wouldn't be okay!" I exclaimed, leaning over Wynter to scroll through the films myself.
"I called my driver, she said she'd bring me my passport if I need it." Tomoyo said as he re-entered the room.
"Sweet! Now we just need to decide on a film." Wynter flashed a smile at Tomoyo unlike any I'd seen him give before.
"Alright, how about Ant-Man?" I questioned, looking between them all for reactions.
"Sounds good to me. I'm good with anything, really." Jake said, kissing my cheek.
"The trailers looked good when I saw them." I shrugged.
"I'll watch it, I'll ask my driver to take us." A quiet voice came from behind us, surprising everyone with the offer.
"Tomo you don't have to do that." I said but he was already on his way out of the door with his phone to his ear. I shrugged again. He poked his head round the door, tilting it as a signal for us to come with him so the three of us followed. His driver arrived quite rapidly and we piled into the huge car. The driver handed Tomoyo his passport and eyed up each of us as we got in, as if judging if we're actually interested in being his friends or more interested in his wealth. She seemed undecided when we set off. The cinema wasn't too far away and the drive was full of music and talking. Jake was constantly kissing my cheeks and my nose, making me giggle. Wynter and Tomoyo were discussing their favourite animals. It was good to see Tomoyo be more comfortable around all of us. At the cinema we walked up to the desk and Wynter asked for the tickets. The man behind the till looked Tomoyo up and down and gave a 'are you serious' look to Wynter before asking "does he have some ID to prove he's old enough to see this film?"
"Right here." Tomoyo replied for himself before anyone else could do it for him, handing his passport to the man who gave it a very sceptical look and spent a few minutes scrutinising every detail. There was also a small card that looked like a medical alert card which he handed to the man at the same time.
"This seems to check out. Here's your tickets, enjoy your film." We walked off without saying anything else to the man.
"You two go in, me and Jake will grab the snacks. What do you want?" I asked, conjuring up a plan in my mind.
"I want some chocolate buttons and a mountain dew please." Wynter said, handing me some money.
"Could I get Jaffa Cakes and some Malteasers please?" Tomoyo asked quietly. "Oh and some cherry Tango?" He smiled sheepishly and reached for some money but Wynter beat him to it, handing me some more money from his pocket.
"Come on then Tomo, let's go find our seats." Wynter smiled at the small boy, walking in the direction of screen 2.
"Jake! I have a plan!" I almost shouted the second they were out of sight, grabbing their choices along with some more buttons and a Coke Zero, placing them on the counter.
"What would this plan be then?" Jake asked, trying to help me carry things while he picked some Rolos, a bag of salted peanuts and a bottle of Vanilla Coke, placing them with the other things and putting his money in with what I'd been given.
"Okay so we need to get Wynter and Tomo to kiss!" The girl behind the counter giggled, overhearing our conversation as she took our money. Jake's face screwed together in concentration as he nodded slowly.
"Let's do it! But how?" This was the thing I didn't know, I needed a way to get them to kiss without actually forcing them or outing them to each other since that wasn't my place. I thought about it all for a second before answering.
"We can't play truth or dare, wouldn't be much fun with just the four of us." We walked slowly over to the screen even though we were struggling to carry everything. "You need to talk to Wynter, give him the confidence to do it. Trust me, he'll take it better from you than me. I'll talk to Tomo and see if I can get some confidence out of him but I doubt it. Just have a chat with Wynter, okay?" He nodded and kissed me before we entered the screen which made him almost drop Wynter's drink. I rolled my eyes at him in a playful way and we made our way to our seats.

When the film finished we were all pumped, Jake and Wynter walked off to the toilets, talking about how much they enjoyed it which left me and Tomoyo to go and wait outside. My diaper suddenly became wet and warm as I walked, earning a sigh of contentment from me. "So Tomo, I have a challenge for you." I said as we exited the cinema into the cool air. I shivered slightly, not expecting the breeze. He looked at me with a mixture of worry and curiosity. "Kiss Wynter." The look on his face said it all and I quickly continued as he opened his mouth to protest. "I know you don't trust that it will work, I know you think he's a somebody and you're a nobody but it really could work out great. Take the chance."
"I need to call my driver." He sighed, pulling out his phone and walking a slight distance away. I had instant regret at what I'd just said. I didn't mean to make him feel pressured, I just wanted him to be happy. The other boys walked out as Tomoyo finished his call. "She waited in that car park over there for us." He announced, pointing across the street.
"Do you want to grab some food on the way back?" Wynter asked, looking at all of us. "Pizza? Kebabs? Chicken?" Tomoyo was avoiding any and all eye contact, barely even looking at Wynter at all. I felt so bad for making him feel uncomfortable.
"Chicken sounds good!" Jake answered, rubbing his belly. I laughed at him and we all walked after Tomoyo to the car, once again getting in to judgemental looks from his driver. He mumbled something to her and we set off, music playing again. Wynter and Jake were still talking about the film so I turned to Tomoyo and almost whispered.
"I'm really sorry for pushing you, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable or anything. I just get too excited sometimes." He looked into my eyes with a warm smile.
"Don't worry about it, I know your heart is in the right place." I hugged him, earning a glare in the rear view mirror from the driver which made me snigger slightly. We pulled into the KFC drive through soon after and all ordered what we wanted. Tomoyo insisted on paying since Wynter paid for his ticket and snacks at the cinema. We tried to argue but he wasn't hearing it. We got a sharing bucket, a boneless banquet, some popcorn chicken and lots of gravy. We were only a five minute drive away from home so we arrived quickly. Jake and Wynter headed towards the door first, stating they'd get plates set out. I stayed behind for a second, carrying the remains of the snacks from the cinema. Tomoyo thanked his driver and I gave her a nice smile but all I got in return was another glare. I wasn't sure what her problem with me was but she clearly didn't like me. She told him to call her when he needed picking up before heading off.
"Sorry about her, she's just quite protective over me." He explained as we entered the house.
"It's okay, what's her name?"
"Regina, but she prefers to be called Gine." He smiled to himself, looking at the floor as we entered the kitchen. The plates were set out on the table with a portion of fries on each, all of the chicken sat within grabbing range in the middle. We had a pot of gravy each and I placed the last of our drinks next to each plate.
"Dig in then! I'm starving." Jake said, earning a laugh from everyone.
"You're always hungry!" I said through my laughter, sitting next to him and grabbing some boneless chicken, pouring some of the popcorn chicken onto my plate.
"Shush you, little miss princess." We all began to eat and I noticed that Tomoyo barely ate anything until Wynter convinced him to have a bit more chicken. I quickly looked at my plate to avoid eye contact with either of them when they looked away from each other, enjoying my chicken. We spent the rest of the time eating, talking about school and our favourite foods. After we finished Jake put the plates next to the sink and we all made our way up the stairs to Wynter's room. I yawned, checking the time. It wasn't too late, only 3:15pm.
"Tired, princess?" Jake whispered into my ear.
"Just a little bit, I'll have a nap soon if everyone is alright with that?" I looked towards Wynter and Tomoyo, they were sitting on the bed avoiding looking at each other. Jake sat next to Wynter and whispered something to him, a red flush appearing on his cheeks as he cleared his throat, grabbing everyone's attention.
"Tomo, I, erm." He was flustered and struggling with his words so he gave up on that and reached a hand out to caress the small boy's cheek, slowly leaning in. He paused for a moment before their lips connected. I saw Tomoyo's eyes widen before relaxing into it. The kiss was quickly becoming more intense so I grabbed Jake's hand, leaving the room. I looked towards my bedroom door, taking a deep breath.
"You think you're ready to go back in?" Jake asked me, giving my hand a squeeze.
"Yeah, I think so." I slowly opened the door and took a few steps inside, looking around while trying to keep my breathing under control as I took it all in.
"Hey," his hand tilted my chin to look at him and he gave me a peck on the lips, "bad stuff happened here but you can make some amazing memories too! Don't forget that, okay?" I instantly felt better as
