Have you ever seen a Nightmare before?

I don't think you have.

They're not just ANY nightmare you'd see at night.

Well, you could say they're similar on how you'll wake up with sweating and with a racing heart, but they're MUCH worse. They have forms—and their looks aren't something you'd see once and you'll forget in the morning, no. They'll be forever burned in your head, an image of monsters you'll never forget for the rest of your life.

They're savage monstrosities, feeding off fear and taking over the mind when it's weakened enough. They're large, and there are more than just five of them. Claws as sharp—maybe sharper—as knives and fangs pointed and terrifying. Bodies ripped and torn, exposing the skeleton beneath their rough dirty-furred skin. Eyes burning and menacing, a look of pure evil on their monstrous faces. A grin so terrible you'd probably be petrified with fear when you lay your gaze on them.

Can you imagine them yet? You'll know you have once you shudder with the thought.

Now, try to imagine a boy, about... let's say, eleven years old, so young in age, with short auburn brunette hair and wide, shy, ocean blue eyes and a round face, who often wears a gray-striped black T-shirt and dark blue shorts and brown shoes. Maybe for extra detail, he likes to wear socks that matches his T-shirt.

This boy would like to tell you his tale, on how the Nightmares affected his life in the worst possible way.

That boy was me.
