Chapter Five: 'A Little Crazy'

The birds chirped as you made your way towards the dormitory, following Gojo who was in the lead. It was quiet, peaceful, and your room was in the building next to another building where the boys stayed.

"If you have any questions, just head to the boys dormitory! I'll be showing Yuuji to his room! See ya later, Y/N!" Gojo grinned before leaving you to your own devices.

The room was very big compared to the one you used to have in the orphanage. You set your backpack down on the bed before you walked to the sliding door and slid it open. Breathing in the fresh air, it made you feel calm and less stressed.

If you were being honest, your mind had been going crazy within the past 24 hours. Your best friend could have died, you were enrolled into a new school, the creatures that you had been seeing your whole life were curses, and, to top it off, you had just discovered that you had a brother. It was a bit much for you.

Scanning the room, you realised that it was pretty empty. You did not bring any belongings you owned at the orphanage because you wanted to leave them for the other kids and you also thought that it'd be too much work to go back just to collect your stuff.

That was when you realised that you needed someone to sign your adoption forms. You could not just leave the orphanage like that. The women at the orphanage would file a missing-person report for you.

You shot up, grabbed your bag and headed out towards the boys dormitory where Gojo was.

Running as fast as you could, you made your way towards the boys dormitory.

"We're heading out tomorrow!" Gojo exclaimed, excitedly.

At the sight of him, you called out to him, "Gojo-sensei!"

"Oh look, Y/N's here!" he smiled brightly, causing the other two first-years to turn around and look at you.

Yuuji's face brightened at the sight of you, "Y/N!! Wanna come into my room?"

You laughed awkwardly as you turned him down, "Sorry, Yuuji, but I gotta talk to Gojo-sensei about something," you said as you walked towards your teacher.

The usual smirk remained on Gojo's face as he leaned on one leg and placed his hand on his hip, "How can I help you, Y/N?" he asked with his usual playful tone.

A look of slight worry was drawn onto your face as you smiled awkwardly, "Well um... I er... I need someone to sign my adoption papers..." you said, feeling a little embarrassed.

There was a beat of silence between the two of you.

"Leave it to me then!" Gojo exclaimed, "Sorry, Yuuji, Fushiguro, I gotta go help Y/N with some stuff!"

You muttered a soft 'thanks' as you followed Gojo, who had walked ahead of you towards the exit of the boys dorm. He seemed almost too excited for no reason.

The two of you took the bullet train back to Sendai and, maybe if Gojo never told you about how he was related to you, you would've been more at ease with him but now that you knew, you couldn't help but feel a little tense.

Of course, you attempted to be as calm as you usually would but it was just difficult. You were also tired so you fell asleep on your way to Sendai.

When you reached Sendai, the two of you decided to walk to the orphanage since it wasn't too far away from the train station.

"So... how are we going to do this?" you asked, walking beside the tall man.

Gojo took in a deep breath, his usual smile still on his face, "Well... I can't adopt you, that's for sure... But I know what I can do to help you get out of this orphanage situation," he said.

You raised your brow at his statement, "How?"

"The Gojo Clan will adopt you."

You stopped in your steps, a frown etched onto your face, "I've said this before, they'll never be my family," you said.

Satoru turned around to face you, "I know... Just treat this as a formality and as a way to get you 'adopted', you don't have to treat them as your family. This is the only way," he said, with an unfamiliar tone. A tone that was gentle, guilt-filled and kind.

It was not the voice of Gojo-sensei but, instead, the voice of Gojo Satoru, the brother of  Gojo Y/N.

You lowered your head before you nodded, agreeing to his terms.

The procedure to get adopted by the Gojo Clan was rather fast, Satoru signed the forms as the clan's representative; he is the strongest sorcerer after all, so even if the Gojo Clan denied you as part of their family, you would still be able to be part of the clan because you were protected by the famous Gojo Satoru.

"Will I have to change my name?" you asked, staring at the ground as you walked beside Satoru.

Though not visible, he looked at you, with his gentle pair of eyes, kindly, "That would be up to you. You can keep your name if you want to or you can change it to Gojo Y/N. It's up to you," he said.

You nodded as you silently walked beside him.

The two of you took the bullet train back to Tokyo and, in no time, you were already back in your dorm. But before turning in for the night, you headed to Yuuji's room to catch up with him; a lot had happened in the past day.

"Hey, Y/N! Come in! Come in!" he exclaimed as he welcomed you into his room.

You chuckled at his enthusiasm before you plopped onto his bed, "How are you feeling, Yuuji?" you asked.

"Me? I'm completely fine!" he laughed.

"Are you not afraid of getting executed?" you asked, getting straight to the root of your worries.

Your question caught Yuuji off guard, his eyes widened then softened at the realisation that you had been worried for him the whole time. He walked towards the bed and sat beside you, "Maybe a little, but I've got you here beside me so, for now, I'm happy and glad that I'm alive," he said as he looked at you with that child-like smile of his.

You stifled a laugh, "I guess I'm glad I have you here too," you said, "But I won't allow you to die before I do, I promised your grandpa that I'll take good care of you."

Yuuji chuckled, "We'll die together then, at the same time. We're a package so it'd only make sense for that to happen," he said, spouting nonsense that came directly into his mind.

"Hey, no! You shouldn't even be on a death sentence in the first place. Instead of saying we'll die together, you gotta say we'll live together!" you scolded as you sat up.

Your face then softened into one that showed much worry, "You're scared, aren't you? Dying, I mean... And you don't know how you can avoid your death..."

Yuuji only stayed silent as he stared at the ground.

You reached out and touched his face, making him face you, "I won't let you die, okay? I'll be here for you, partner," you said as you smiled a gentle smile.

The pink haired boy only stared at you with wide eyes before smiling softly to himself, "Thank you, Y/N," he said.

Attempting to brighten up the mood, Yuuji asked about the elephant in the room, "Also... Gojo Y/N?!?! You're related to Gojo-sensei?? What is he? Your dad?!"

You deadpanned at your best friend's question, "Think Yuuji, think. Gojo-sensei is barely 30 and I'm 15, how is it even possible that he's my dad?"

"Teen pregnancy?"

You clicked your tongue at Yuuji's words, "He's not my dad," you said.

"Then what is he? Your uncle? Your cousin?" Yuuji asked.

"He's my brother."

"Ohhhh.... EHHHHH?!?!?"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After the big revelation, you headed back to your room and ran into Gojo.

"Y/N! Here's your school uniform, wear it tomorrow!" he grinned.

You blinked twice at the sudden information before nodding your head and taking the uniform away from Gojo.

"Alright then! Goodnight!!" he said as he dashed away with another uniform in his hand. The uniform was similar to yours except it was much bigger, had pants and had a red hoodie attached.

'That's not fair, how come the boys get a hoodie and I don't' you thought to yourself as you pouted, heading back to your room to rest for the night.

The first day at Jujutsu High ended peacefully as you tucked yourself into bed, feeling a little excited for the day that was to come.

You were excited to learn about Jujutsu and to experience a Jujutsu-filled life.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The next morning, Gojo, Fushiguro, Yuuji and you headed to the Harajuku Station where the final first-year had agreed to meet up.

You leaned against the railing next to Yuuji as the two of you ate your popsicles away.

"How are there only four first-years? Isn't that too little?" Yuuji asked Fushiguro while you silently savoured your strawberry flavoured popsicle.

Fushiguro only replied with his usual nonchalant voice and a deadpan, "Then have you met anyone who could see curses?"

"Y/N can see curses," Yuuji answered with his usual dumb tone.

The dark haired boy clicked his tongue, "Other than her," he scolded.

Yuuji stared at Fushiguro with his popsicle in his mouth as he thought about Fushiguro's question, "Then... Nope!" he replied.

"That just proves how small a minority Jujutsu Sorcerers are."

You nodded to Fushiguro's words as you continued to eat your strawberry popsicle.

"Also, didn't you say that Y/N and I are the third and fourth?" Yuuji asked.

"Their enrollment was decided a while ago," Fushiguro replied.

And after that you just tuned out from their conversation. Hearing Fushiguro answer Yuuji's never-ending questions, you figured that he was actually a pretty decent guy even though half the time he seems pretty fed up with the both of you.

"Sorry for the wait," Gojo called out as he removed his hand from his pocket to wave at your group while walking towards you, "Oh, you got your uniform, I see."

It seemed last night when Gojo was out delivering your uniforms Yuuji had already fallen asleep and was unable to receive the uniform personally.

"Yeah, it's a perfect fit!" Yuuji said, with a thumbs up.

"He even has a hoodie, no fair," you pouted as you licked the popsicle stick clean before tossing it into a bin. Yuuji then looked at you, scanning your uniform. Your top was similar to Fushiguro's except it was smaller and you sported a miniskirt similar to your previous school's uniform with black leggings underneath. You also wore a F/C pair of boots with your new uniform and you had your hair tied up in a high ponytail. (no ponytail if you have short hair or if you don't like ponytails)

"It's a little different than Y/N and Fushiguro's though," Yuuji noted, "It has a hood, for one."

"That's because the uniforms can be customised upon request," Gojo informed.

"Huh? But I never put in any requests."

"That's because I was the one who put in the custom order!" the white haired man grinned.

You gasped as you shot up, "And you didn't put in one for me?!"

"I did!" Satoru defended.

Narrowing your eyes and crossing your arms, you sent a glare towards him, "Sure you did."

"I did! The skirt was a custom order!" he exclaimed, defending himself.

You only continued to narrow your eyes, "Why a miniskirt though? Are you some sort of pervert, Gojo-sensei?"

Satoru's jaw dropped, "What?! No! I would never! I only made the custom order because you wore a miniskirt the day before and I thought you liked them!" he said as he waved his arms around.

"Hmm... Sure..." you said, eyeing him suspiciously, "You could've given me a hoodie though, they're much more comfortable and practical."

Satoru only sweatdropped at your request, "Yes, yes, I'll keep that in mind," he said as his usual grin returned to his face.

"You two get along well," Fushiguro noted with his usual deadpan.

"Ahh, that's because they're siblings!" Yuuji exclaimed, letting the cat you never intended to release out of the bag.

With that, your head shot towards Yuuji as you deadpanned at him. "Was I not supposed to say that?" he asked.

Both your silence and Satoru's only answered his question.

"Oh. Sorry, Y/N," Yuuji apologised as he rubbed his nape.

Fushiguro only stared at you wide eyed, he had finally realised what had been bugging him this whole time; it was the similarity between you and a certain white haired teacher he had. Your immense amount of Cursed Energy also finally made sense to him; you were the sister of the famous Gojo Satoru, it made sense why you had such a vast amount of Cursed Energy.

He then snapped out of his brief trance, "More importantly, why are we meeting up at Harajuku?" he asked, attempting to switch the subject.

Gojo only returned to his teaching demeanor which consisted of his usual sly smirk on his face and his, almost carefree, tone, "Because it's what she asked for," he replied.

Yuuji then spotted a popcorn stand and grew excited, "Hey, there's a popcorn stand! I want some!" he exclaimed. You glanced in the direction where Yuuji was facing, "That looks nice! Can you go get some?" you asked, feeling lazy to get there as you pulled out some cash from your wallet and handed it to Yuuji.

"Where'd you get all that money from?" Satoru asked, curiously as he leaned down and stared at your wallet.

You blinked twice, staring at your own wallet, "Well, I participated in a lot of different kinds of competition to pay for my school supplies and I just kinda ended up earning more than I expected," you shrugged as if the millions in your bank account was not a big deal.

Satoru nodded his head, impressed by your ability to provide for yourself despite your age. He stared at you proudly; he was proud of you even though you two had not spent much time together, he was proud that despite having a rough childhood you still made it through and he was proud that you were his sister even though you did not think of him as a brother.

Yuuji returned with a pair of bizarre sunglasses and a box of popcorn in his hand, you ate the popcorn away as he held onto the box. Fushiguro, Yuuji and you stared at a girl who seemed to be bothering a model scout.

She definitely looked fierce in your opinion.

"We're about to go talk to her?" Yuuji asked, rhetorically, "This is kinda embarrassing."

The pinkette held up his popcorn and a crepe as Fushiguro side eyed your friend before going 'tch'.

"So are you..." he muttered to himself.

You only stifled a laugh when you heard Fushiguro's mutters, "It's not that bad!" you teased.

"You're part of the problem, Shimori," he said before pausing, "Should I even call you that? Or should I call you Gojo? Though that would be confusing."

You chuckled, "Just call me Y/N then."

"Hey! Over here!" Gojo called out to the brown haired girl.

The girl then walked over and kept her belongings in a locker before meeting you guys formally.

"Okay, introduce yourselves," Gojo said, holding his hand out.

The brown haired girl placed her hand on her hip and held her head high, "Kugisaki Nobara. Be happy, boys. I'm the only w--," she paused after noticing you, "Damn, you're pretty!"

Kugisaki Nobara stared at you in awe as stars sparkled in her eyes. You smiled awkwardly as you held up your hand, attempting to greet her with a wave.

"I'm Itadori Yuuji! I'm from Sendai!" Yuuji exclaimed, introducing himself.

"Fushiguro Megumi," Fushiguro said.

Kugisaki furrowed her brows at their introduction as she stared at them with distaste in her eyes before letting out a sigh.

"I'm..." you pause halfway through your introduction, "Shimori Y/N. I'm from Sendai too."

You finished your introduction with a bright smile, ignoring your identity crisis. Kugisaki smiled as you finished your introduction. She was glad that there was another girl in the class and she was sure as hell gawking over your beauty.

"Are we going somewhere from here?" Fushiguro asked.

Gojo only chuckled to himself, "We do have all four of you together. Not to mention, three of you are from the countryside," he said with his sly smirk, "So of course we're going on a tour of Tokyo!"

Your face lit up at the sound of Gojo's proclamation as the four of you, Gojo, Kugisaki, Yuuji and you began to chant 'Tokyo' excitedly.

"We love Tokyo!" the three of you exclaimed, leaving Fushiguro behind to stare at you guys with distaste.

Yuuji hopped onto Gojo and hugged him excitedly while you and Kugisaki hopped around him, "TDL! I want to go to TDL!" Kugisaki exclaimed.

"Idiot! TDL's in Chiba! Let's go to Chinatown, Sensei!" Yuuji suggested.

"Chinatown's in Yokohama!"

"Yokohama is part of Tokyo! Don't you know that? Look at a map!"

You then jumped up and down excitedly, "I wanna go to Roppongi!" you said with a bright smile on your face, "Yuuji, let's go Roppongi, pleaseeeee!"

Yuuji looked at you, "Ooo Roppongi sounds nice too! Let's head to Roppongi first then we can visit Chinatown!" he exclaimed.

The two of you then hopped up and down excitedly, leaving Kugisaki out as the two of you were on the same length due to your years of friendship.

Gojo stared at you guys with his usual smile, "I will now announce our destination."

The three of you then quieted down and got onto your knees, ready to head to wherever Gojo suggested. Fushiguro only stood behind you guys with his deadpan.

There was a beat of silence before Gojo announced the destination, "We'll be going to... Roppongi!"

"Ah! Gojo-sensei! You definitely favour Y/N!" Yuuji exclaimed.

"Nope!" he grinned.

And so the five of you headed to 'Roppongi'.

The excitement that filled the three of you vanished at the sight of an old and abandoned building, "What the hell is this..." you asked lowly as you stared at the building with a blank stare.

"It's Roppongi!" Satoru smirked.

Fushiguro only added salt into your wounds, "There's a curse here," he said.

"You liar!" the three of you exclaimed as you went feral behind Gojo.

"This isn't even Roppongi!" Yuuji added as he slapped his hands onto his eyes.

"You were toying with us country folk!"

The usual smirk only remained on Gojo's face as he kept his hands in his pocket and explained about the situation. "The problem isn't with the cemeteries. It's the fact that people associate cemeteries with fear," Fushiguro explained to the both of you as you absorbed all the information like a dry sponge.

"Oh, it was the same for schools, too, wasn't it?" Yuuji asked.

Kugisaki then walked towards the three of you, "Hold up. He didn't even know that yet?" she asked.

You and Fushiguro only stared at her flatly, "To be honest..."

The two of you then began to explain Yuuji's situation.

"He swallowed a special-grade cursed object?!" she exclaimed, "Gross! Unbelievable! That's so unsanitary and disgusting! No way, no way, no way, no way!"

You then looked at Yuuji and pointed towards Kugisaki, "That's something I agree with," you said in a dumb tone similar to his.

"What?! Y/N!" he exclaimed.

Fushiguro only agreed with both your statements.

Gojo then began to explain the reason as to why he had brought the four of you here, "I want to know what all of you are capable of. Just think of this as a field test. Nobara, Yuuji, Y/N, you three go exercise the curse inside that building," he said.

"Geh!"

"Huh? But I thought only curses could exorcise
