[Y/N's Introduction Arc]

Chapter Three: Questioned and Answers

"So, what's your name, girlie?" the man with white hair asked as he leaned back into the hotel chair and crossed his legs.

You  narrowed your eyes and leaned forward, placing your elbows on your knees as you brought your hands together for your chin to rest atop, "When asking for someone's name, shouldn't you introduce yourself first?" you remarked.

Gojo sat up a little after your remark, "That makes sense," he noted, "Let's start from the beginning then, I'm Gojo [五条]  Satoru and you are?"

"I'm Shimori [四森] Y/N."

"Alright then, Y/N, what are the names of your parents?" Gojo asked in his usual seemingly carefree voice.

You moved your head back a little, this man was a rather strange person. You had just introduced yourself and he's already referring to you by your name. You didn't mind that at all in all honesty but it was just a little strange and, to top it off, he started asking about your parents.

"I'm an orphan," you answered honestly.

The man raised a brow, although unnoticeable, "Your parents set you up for adoption? Why? Were you an annoying kid?" he joked.

You laughed at his joke and replied, "Yeah, I was definitely annoying alright, but, no. I was found in a forest on the [BIRTH DATE] at 4 in the morning, hence, my surname. Pretty smart, no?"

Under normal circumstances, Gojo would have laughed at your statement and agreed that the person who found you gave you a rather smart name but, at that moment, he was serious so he faked a chuckle. "Which forest were you found in?"

"Aokigahara," you replied, shortly.

"That forest? Are you for real?" the man asked in a slightly surprised tone.

"Yep," you said, popping the 'p' (oh come on guys, it's not a wattpad story without this line), "My parent's must've really wanted me to die there but, surprise, I survived."

You waved jazz hands on the word 'surprise' as you laughed softly to yourself. Whether or not that laugh was forced, you didn't really know but the man who sat opposite you did. There was a slight fluctuation in your Cursed Energy, he could tell that you felt negative about the fact that you were abandoned and that you were left to die but he had something else to tell you; that was until he confirmed his suspicions first though.

"Y/N, how old are you this year?" he asked.

"15."

After your reply, there was brief silence between the two of you before you broke the stillness of the room, "Can I have one of those, please," you asked as you pointed towards the bag of Kikufuku on the table top across the hotel room.

Gojo stifled a laugh, "If you finish answering my questions then I'll let you have some," he said.

"Really?" you asked excitedly as stars glittered in your eyes.

"Really."

"Alright, ask away then!" you exclaimed as you began to feel excited. You had a sweet tooth after all which is why you took any chances available just to eat sweet treats.

The white haired man grinned and snapped his finger, "I like your enthusiasm, I can tell we'll both get along super well!"

You nodded proudly to his words with your eyes closed, "Of course! I'm a nice person after all," you beamed as you stuck a thumbs up next to your face.

Gojo laughed as he agreed to your statement, "Me too! I'm super nice too!"

The two of you then got distracted from your little Q&A session and just laughed your asses off like idiots; making occasional jokes that were basically just the two of you boasting about yourselves.

Yes, you and Gojo had the self confidence of a god. That's what happens when you are the most talented highschooler and have earned millions from competitions. And this is what happens when two extremely confident people meet.

"Oh wait, aren't you supposed to be asking me questions?" you suddenly asked, midway of your laugh session.

"Oh yeah..."

There was a beat of silence between the two of you as you just stared at the older man before the two of you broke out in laughter.

"Okay, time to get serious now," Gojo muttered to himself as his laughter faded, "So, Y/N, do you know what Curses are?"

You shook your head, "Not really, I didn't know about them before tonight," you answered.

"But you could see them, correct?"

"Yeah, I've always been able to."

The usual smirk would have been plastered upon Gojo's glossy lips but, for once, this was a serious matter to him. "Do you know why you can see them?" he asked.

You furrowed your brows a little, "Um no? I don't know, I've just been able to see them my whole life. Apparently I cried a lot when I was a baby because I could see things," you answered honestly as you leaned back into your chair and eyed the bag of Kikufuku not so far away from you.

"It's because you have more Cursed Energy than regular humans," Gojo informed you, "You also have more Cursed Energy than most Jujutsu Sorcerers so I'd like to propose an idea."

The usual smirk returned to his face as he voiced his ideas, "Would you like to enroll into Tokyo Jujutsu High and learn Jujutsu? You have the potential to be one of the best sorcerers, trust me, I know because I'm the best," he said.

You sat there with wide eyes, caught off guard by his question and by his claim that you'd be one of the best. Sure, you knew you were the best at almost everything that you tried but jujutsu? You couldn't help but feel a little excited to learn more about it. The countless amounts of Curses that you've been seeing your whole life finally meant something. You could finally meet people who could see these things too. You would finally have people at your level, life would no longer be mundane.

However, as much as you longed to follow this man and start learning the arts of Jujutsu, you couldn't leave Yuuji behind. He was your best friend and you couldn't imagine life without him.

Life would simply be dull.

You had the glimmers in your eyes but they faded away after a while. Gojo thought you would willingly join Jujutsu High but it seems you had your reasons not to.

"I can't..." you said, "I'd love to, but I like my life here with Yuuji and I don't wanna leave him."

The man's lips were agape but he closed them with his usual smirk, "Who said he isn't coming with you?"

And with that you looked at that man with wide eyes and a lingering childlike excitement behind them, "He is?" you asked.

"I mean, he's literally the vessel for one of the most powerful Curses so he doesn't have much choice but whether or not he survives is another story," he said.

You narrowed your eyes at his statement, "What do you mean by that?" you asked in a low tone.

"Our higher ups are cowards so they may try to execute him. But don't worry, I'll make sure they don't."

You crossed your arms together, eyes still narrowed, "And how would you do that?"

Gojo then laughed, "I'm the strongest, remember?"

Your lips formed and 'O' as you nodded, "Then are you going to be the one teaching me? I only want to be taught by the strongest," you asked as your lips formed a familiar-looking smirk.

He returned your smirk with his very own; confidence filling the room to the brim, "Of course."

You then grinned brightly and leaned back into your chair, "Well, I have no problem with this arrangement then. Just promise me that Yuuji won't be killed," you said.

The older man stuck a thumbs up next to his grin as he agreed to your terms, "No problem! Leave it to me, after all you're one of my precious students now!"

"Can I have one of those Kikufuku's now?" you asked, excitedly, finger pointing towards the bag.

Gojo turned to look at it then let out a laugh, "Sure, why not. I've been dying to eat them since I got them," he said, playfully.

And so the two of you spent the next hour devouring the bag of Kikufuku while talking about your favourite sweets. The two of you got along extremely well, it was almost funny.

"Okay so, Gojo-sensei, I'm gonna call you that from now onwards because you're my teacher. Anyways, what do you think is the opposite of apple?" you asked, seriously.

Gojo raised a brow, "As in the fruit?"

"Yeah," you nodded.

"Hmm... Then that'd be an orange," he answered.

"But why orange though? Apples are usually red or green in colour and the opposite of red isn't orange, nor is the opposite of green, orange. So why is the fruit orange the opposite of apples?"

There was a beat of silence in the room as you finished your sentence. Gojo and you exchanged dumb stares. "Holy fuck. Why is the opposite of apples, orange?" Gojo asked, rhetorically as he shot up, sitting straight.

"Right???" you agreed, "The world is so bizarre!"

"And I'm a teacher! Why don't I know the answer to this?" Gojo cried as he stuffed a Kikufuku into his mouth.

You nodded your head to his words, "And I'm supposed to be the smartest student in this prefecture, why don't I know the answer to my own question?" you asked as you, too, stuffed a Kikufuku into your mouth.

The Kikufuku then fell out of your mouth after you came to a realisation, "Wait, have I transcended into an actual god and become the world's smartest person?" you gasped.

Gojo's jaw dropped, "No way..." he stared in disbelief, "I have a genius as my student? That would make me the teacher of a genius! This is amazing, alright Y/N, don't tell the rest but you're now officially my favourite student," he grinned.

The two of you then broke up with laughter as you emptied the bag of Kikufuku together; shoving those local delicacies into your mouth as you two joked and laughed with each other.

After finally finishing the bag of Kikufuku that Gojo bought, your laughs quieted down as you two sat in silence for a bit before he spoke.

"Okay, now for the serious part," Gojo said as he smiled his usual smile.

You raised your brow, "The serious part? Wasn't the changing schools part the serious part?" you asked.

The white haired man chuckled, "Nope!"

You leaned back into your chair and crossed your arms together, "Okay...? So what's the serious part?"

"This," he said as he threw a pen directly at you, it's tip pointing towards you and flying towards you at a high speed that would kill you if you did not do anything about it. Your eyes adjusted to the speed of the pen that was flying towards you as you narrowed your eyes and just sat completely still while the pen flew.

The pen would've stabbed you straight in the forehead if you were a regular human being but it stopped inches in front of your eyes as your expression remained the same. You were slightly shocked by Gojo's sudden actions but it did not faze you because you knew you could stop it from reaching you.

You remained straight faced as the pen fell after its impact with the unseen wall in front of you, "Are you testing me?" you asked, a slight grin etched onto your face. It was almost as if you were saying 'Don't look down on me' but at the same time it was also like you were asking if he was impressed.

Being the best at everything you did was what made you such a confident person but you were rightfully confident. You were just that amazing.

You expected Gojo to either be impressed or shocked but he was neither. He only leaned forward and held his chin with his fingers, "How long have you been able to do that?" he asked.

"My whole life but I've only learned how to control it recently. Why? Is this a form of Jujutsu?" you asked, curiously.

Gojo leaned back into his chair and crossed his legs, "You learned how to control it all by yourself?"

You nodded, "I mean, yeah. There was no one for me to talk to about this, I tried telling Yuuji when I was young but he probably forgot about it and thought I was just bullshitting," you laughed.

The older man would've laughed with you under normal circumstances but, like before, he was rather serious at that moment, "You're 15 this year, right?" he asked again.

Narrowing your eyes at his question, you nodded once more, "Yeah."

"Is that your natural hair colour?" he asked.

You moved your head back a little as you were caught off guard by his question. That's a strange question to ask.

"Um, no, it's dyed," you answered, "Why?"

"What about your eyes?"

"My eyes?"

"The colour."

"Ohh, yeah, these are contacts. I don't like how my eyes look," you answered honestly as you raised your brows a little, "Why?"

Gojo only ignored your 'why's' and continued with his questions, "Can you take those off?" he asked, pointing to your eyes.

You narrowed your eyes at his request as you began to grow a little suspicious of the man but complied nonetheless. You removed your E/C contact lenses to reveal your striking light blue eyes. They were beyond beautiful but, to you, they were your insecurities.

"Why does the colour of my eyes matter to you?" you asked.

But, once again, your question was ignored. "Do you know why you're able to stop people or things that you deem dangerous from touching you?" he asked.

"Er, no? It's just something I was always able to do..."

Gojo leaned forward, "That's because," he said as he pulled his blindfold off, "You're my sister."
