Maddison Brooks

As the principal announced us free, I sprinted off my plastic chair and away from the ceremony in the backyard. "I'm finally free from this hell." I mumbled as I walked. Feeling a few people watching my back before I shut the door into the school corridors behind my back.

Charles was right, the ceremony was boring. Really boring, close off falling asleep every five minutes before Evan ended up poking my back every time I started to doze off.

Walking out on the yard in front of the school while my fingers fumbled with a button on the robe so I could take it off. The birds sang in the trees and a few families had already started going out through the door.

Taking the cap off my head once I saw Evan go through the door; shortly followed by his and mine family. Throwing the cap that had saved my eyes from going blind by the sun, going for Evans head but accidentally hitting him between his legs.

He whined in pain as he reached forward and covered his crotch with his hands. "What was that for?!"

"You didn't tell me you were holding a speech!"

Both mine and Evan's families just stood and watched back and forth between us; I was almost on my knees from laughing so hard.

The door opened and Max and Charles stepped out into the sun after being in the school building. "What's going on?" My brother looked from me to Evan.

"She threw her hat on my balls!" Evan accused me of doing it.

"You didn't tell me about the speech!"

"He told me about the speech." Max shrugged like it was no big deal that my best friend had told my brother and not me.

"Traitor." Giving Evan a fast look when he started to stand up normally, his hands not leaving his crotch.

Before our meaningless conversation could continue mom and dad walked past Evan and walked up to me. Mom threw her arms around me while dad just stood there and watched, for a while that was all he did. Then he hugged me for the first time in years while both of them told me how proud they are over me. "I'll meet you at the car, go and say bye to your friends." Mom said before she and dad walked against the school parking lot.

Evan gave me an angry look before he wrapped his arms around my back and hugged me tight, acting as we would never see each other ever again. "I'm going to miss you." He mumbled against the crook of my neck.

Letting out a short laugh before I answered him, "You're not getting rid of me that easily."

Evan laughed with me before taking a step back from me. "Damn it, I hoped I would get away from you." He joked with the biggest smile on his lips. Giving into a small hug before he walked back to his family that stood and waited for him by their car, knowing that I probably will force him to meet up again tomorrow.

Just as Evan had taken his seat in the car, I reached for my phone just to remember he was going to help me find it. Rooting through the small bag I had taken with me just because of my phone wasn't useful without a phone.

Feeling a hand against my shoulder made me turn around, hopeful that it could be Trevor that was going to say he was sorry for being late or he had watched the ceremony from another chair further back.

The male in front of me was a disappointment, it wasn't my boyfriend. Even if I wasn't surprised that he hadn't shown up, feeling my heart sink in my chest by the betrayal of my boyfriend.

"So do you want something or are you just gonna stand there?" I asked the dark haired man in front of me. He was quiet, his eyes going up and down my skin.

I burned.

Feeling as hell was ready to break loose inside my body when he never looked away. Charles reached for something in his back pocket, still without looking away from me. Crossing my arms over my chest to cover up if he felt uneasy by me standing in front of him around people.

"I wanted to give you this." My phone was in his hand, it looked like an ant in the palm of his hand before I took it away from his grasp.

Without thinking I pulled him into an embrace, my arms around his neck; even if I stood on my toes in heels I still had to make an effort to reach. "Thank you." Feeling his muscles tens under his shirt, he stood still for a few seconds before he wrapped his arms around my waist and pressed me against him.

Feeling his strong body next to my body, his arms held me closer to him for every second that passed as he never wanted to let me go. The feeling of something poking my lower stomach made me push myself away from the embrace.

Looking around in the school yard, doing everything I can so I don't have to look at him again. "Where did you find it?" I asked while I looked on my phone screen, trying to find any damage.

"You left it in my car." His burning gaze that had burned my skin left my body to feel colder than before even in the heated air.

Turning on the screen without saying anything. Feeling the burn on my skin again when I saw only my phone background and not a single text from anyone. My heart was in my stomach when I turned off my phone.

Maybe he just forgot? It has happened before that he has forgotten to pick me up or spend time with me. This was probably just another day where he forgot even if it's important that he would be there just as I was on his graduation when he graduated.

"Everything alright, principessa<princess>?" He turned his head to the side without letting me away from his intense gaze.

I turned around without a word, he had no business in my relationship. Walking against the school lot where mom, dad and Max would be waiting while I said goodbye to teachers and friends that I hadn't said a word towards unless I needed to. Hearing his steps follow my every step.

Looking for Charles black Ferrari on the lot that was filled with cars. Either it was parked somewhere else, hidden or not here so he will have to go home.

Walking against my moms white honda car, Charles still followed my tracks against the car almost as I would get lost on the way towards my moms car.

Max pushed off the mom's car when he looked up from his mobile. Mom and dad were talking to an adult that I've never seen in my life. "Are you ready to go?"

Giving my brother a look while I opened the door to the back seat and sat down. My skin is sticking against the warm leather seats inside the car.

Both car doors opened at the same time. "What?" Looking up and meeting Charles' dark brown eyes that almost looked dead except for the fire inside them.

"Move."

"Why?" He pushed me to the middle seat before I could protest when he sat down where I just sat. "Don't you have your own car?" I muttered while crossing my arms over my chest, Charles mumbles something under his breath when Max sat down on the other side of me so I was squeezed between two basketball college guys.

"Keep your legs to yourself, dickhead." I said under my breath hoping my brother or our parents didn't hear, luckily only Charles heard. He turned his head to me with a smirk on his lips. His dark brown eyes were like fire, everywhere he looked it was like he started a fire. I ignored it.

Mom drove out of the parking lot while ignoring my nagging to change seats with my dad who sat in front with mom.

Feeling Charles constant breath against my ear, almost as he took extremely deep breaths just to annoy me more than he already had done. His legs were spread over his seat, his knee touching mine even if I tried to take up as little space I could while he tried to take up as much space as possible. "Move your leg dickhead." I muttered, annoyed by his actions.

His lips touching the edge of my ear, shivers ran down my spine from his slumber breathing against my ear. "Give me a head and I'll move my legs." Then he leaned back in his seat again, spreading his legs a little more.

He acted as he hadn't  just seconds ago told me to suck his dick.

Taking up what he said for a second, sliding my hand up over his knee and up his tight. Higher and higher while never letting my eyes leave the road. Max never looked away from his phone as I leaned into my right while stopping my hand from moving just when it was next to his crotch. "No." Hearing him let out a deep breath. Pinching the skin on his thigh before I moved my hand to my lap.

"Bitch." Charles muttered under his breath.

"Dickhead."

"Maddison!" Mom looked at me from the mirror on the roof so she could look behind herself when she drove. This time it was to tell me to be quiet even if Charles started it.

Soon enough we rolled into the  driveway to our house and stopped the car in front of the garage. That I've turned into a dance studio.

Climbing over my brother to get out of the car before everyone else. My brother complained once I was out, telling me that I was only an inch from kneeing him in the guts.

The door into the house was locked. Standing outside the front door while waiting for everyone to get out of the car. What should take only a few seconds ended up feeling like an eternity before everyone was out and walking towards the door where I stood waiting for them. "One last picture!" Mom waved me over to them.

Walking against them so no one would complain over me complaining about one last picture. Stopping next to my brother, his messy blonde hair moving with the summer breeze when he stood as the royals would be here any minute.

Charles stood on my other side. His suit fit him as a second skin, perfectly made for his broad shoulders and strong biceps. My eyes rolling over his body next to me, his tall height made me feel shorter than my normal five, four; one and a half inches taller than my normal height with my heels.

Looking away from him when a smirk formed on his lips. My parents stood in front of us, mom trying to find the perfect light while dad tried her to just take the picture no matter how bad the light was.

Feeling a warm hand against my small back, knocking air out of my lungs almost as if I had been punched in the stomach with a fist. Closing my eyes to stop them from rolling to the back or my head because of the burn. Charles brushed his pinky back and forth, up and down between my small back and the top of my behind. The cold rings on his fingers made a shiver run down my spine even if the fabric of my dress was stopping our skin from touching

Mom grumbled something under her breath before she pointed the camera against us. "Say cheese." Mom snapped a few pictures of all of us standing next to each other. "So let's go inside and eat!" My mom thankfully said and clapped her hands in excitement.

She probably loved cooking more than she loved me.

Max walked through the front door right after me, still I could feel Charles presence a few feet away from me when we walked into the dining room that was beautifully plated.

The light green mixture with white was my taste, nothing was too bright since the touch of green made the room look alive in my eyes. I took my seat on the first chair after the short side of the table.

My brother took the seat next to me like he usually does when we are eating in the dining room knowing how uncomfortable I feel with strangers seated next to me even if Charles wasn't an complete stranger, I still felt a bit uneasy with him being close after leaving for five years without a goodbye even if I hated him and always will.

The chicken mom had started cooking during the morning smelled amazing, potatoes that had been baked in the oven mixed with all types of vegetables to match up the calories in the potatoes; taking the same responsibility to the foods I needed to eat during the hardest dance practices.

Pro tip, don't become a dancer if you want to eat fast food whenever you want, whenever you want.

Everyone put the food on their plates and started eating while taking up a conversation that didn't come around me. It made me able to just sit and concentrate on keeping the food in my stomach, feeling my stomach absorb the first food I ate in the entire day.

It usually only came when I was going to meet up with Trevor the day after or the same day but right now I still felt stressed after the day. And Trevor still hadn't sent anything at all, not even a 'gratulation for graduating'.

Maybe something had happened and he didn't have time to tell me first?

Maybe he got sick of me and went to someone else?

No he wouldn't.

Right?
