"I need your help, Jules," Maggie came up to Juliana as she was sitting on the front steps of the house she was sharing with Carol, absentmindedly picking at her nails. She squinted as she lifted her head up to look at Maggie.

"If It's about Rick-"

Maggie cut her off before she could speak, "It is. I know you're not his biggest fan, but you do know what will happen if they try to kick him out, right?"

Juliana let out a sigh, brushing away a strand of dark hair that had blown in her face, "Yeah," she mumbled, "He's either gonna kill 'em all or we'll be shit outta luck again," she paused for a moment before asking: "What makes you think they wanna kick him out?"

Maggie scoffed slightly, "What else do you think they'd do?"

Slapping her hands down on her upper thighs she let out a groan as she stood up, stepping off of the last step and over to Maggie, "You're right. Let's get this shit on the road."

With a faint smile, Maggie nodded at Juliana and the two began their way towards Deanna's house. "Thanks, Jules. I know you and Daryl are close, and I know Rick values his opinion a lot, but since he's not here.."

"Yeah, yeah," she muttered, walking in step with Maggie, "No problem, Maggie."

It didn't take them long to reach Deanna's home, which was right down the street. They stepped up onto the front porch, Maggie taking the lead while Juliana stood behind her, hands shoved in the pockets of her coat. Maggie knocked, and waited. The door finally creaked open and Reg poked his head out, offering a smile to the two of them.

"Maggie, Juliana. What brings you here?"

Juliana rolled her eyes, lips parting as the beginning of a sound passed through before Maggie interrupted her, "We want to talk to Deanna." Reg's face fell at the request, appearing to not enjoy confrontation. He cleared his throat and opened the door wider, stepped aside and motioning to the two to enter.

"Please, come in. I'll let Deanna know you're here."

Juliana and Maggie stepped inside and Reg shut the door behind them, ushering them further into the house. He led them to the living room, the same place where Deanna had interviewed everyone when they first came to Alexandria. Juliana remembered her interview was short and quick, she didn't have much to say and didn't want to say much. Deanna had remarked how similar she was to Daryl.

"Wait here," Reg told them, breaking Juliana out of her own thoughts. She watched as Maggie stepped towards the window, peering outside while she diverted her attention to poking at random tchotchkes on the mantle.

They didn't have to wait long until Reg came back, letting them know that Deanna was out on the porch waiting for the two of them. Maggie and Juliana exchanged a quick look between the two of them before following him out onto the covered porch.

The tension was thick in the air as soon as Maggie and Juliana came through the doorway that led out. Once again, Juliana stood slightly behind Maggie, her arms crossed in front of her chest.

"What do you want to talk about, Maggie?" Deanna questioned.

"The meeting tonight."

Reg interjected before Deanna could speak first, "Maggie, if we could talk-"

"I want to talk to everyone about what happened and what we need to do about it." Deanna interrupted Reg.

Juliana scoffed from behind Maggie, "If it includes sending Rick away, it ain't gonna work." Juliana told Deanna.

Deanna's eyes flickered from Juliana and back to Maggie, "Tell me what that means." She asked, opening up the reply to either one of them.

This time, it was Maggie who spoke, "You let Rick in. You let all of us in. You talked to us. You decided. And now you want to put that decision on a group of very frightened people who might not have the whole story. That's not leadership."

"Tonight is just a forum. It's just for people to say their piece," Reg explained.

"And I'll make the decision as I've done since the beginning," Deanna added.

Juliana bit down on the inside of her cheek. As much as she could get angry with Rick, for Daryl's sake and for the rest of the group, she knew she had to stick up for the man. Taking a step up next to Maggie's side, she let out a sigh as she looked over to Deanna, "He was frustrated. The things he's seen..the things he's lost. The things we've all lost.."

"The things you've lost?"

Deanna's comment made Juliana's blood boil. She knew Deanna had lost one of her sons out on a run the other day, but it didn't compare to their own groups losses. Not even by a long shot. Narrowing her eyes she pointed a finger at Deanna, "Don't you fuckin-" she began. Maggie reached out, touching Juliana's forearm and gently lowering her arm, trying to minimize any more confrontation than was necessary.

"We've lost so much more," Maggie told her, as if it were a matter of fact.

Juliana watched as Deanna swallowed, keeping her eyes on her for just a little bit longer before turning her attention back to Maggie, "Rick took a gun and he pointed it at people."

"He didn't pull the trigger."

"That's a metric?" Deanna asked incredulously, "That he didn't pull the trigger?"

"Yes," Maggie replied with a nod. At this point, Reg stepped in.

"Michonne stopped him, Deanna," Reg reminded her, "Michonne did."

Deanna looked conflicted. Before her mind was made up, that she was going to kick Rick out with the rest of the group to either follow or raise hell, but now with Reg reminding her that it was one of their our group members that stopped the chaos with Rick progressing any further, her mind seemed to change ever so slightly.

"I'm gonna do what I have to do, Maggie."

"Fuck this," Juliana grumbled, brushing past Maggie. Maggie reached out half-heartedly to grab at Juliana, but missed, and Juliana continued on her way. Reg called out to her, and then to Maggie as Maggie followed after Juliana.

"Wait!" he caught up to the two of them before they could manage to get too far. "Wait," Reg repeated, a little out of breath. Maggie and Juliana turned out, for Maggie it was out of respect, but for Juliana it was just to humor him. She didn't have half the patience or people skills like Maggie had. "The cavemen, they were all nomads. And, uh, they all died." Juliana raised an eyebrow, confused where this was going, but let him continued, "Then we evolved into this and we lived. Civilization starts when we stop running. When we live together. When we stop sending people away; from the world and from each other. That's what I'm going to tell her. That's what I'm going to tell everyone." Maggie looked at Juliana, both silently agreeing with each other that Reg was an okay guy. Looking back to him, Maggie nodded and turned, not needing to say anything thing else to him. She placed a hand on Juliana's shoulder, but Reg spoke up again.

"Hey, Juliana," Juliana stopped mid-stride and looked over her shoulder at him, "Can I ask you something?" Looking to Maggie she motioned for her to go ahead and leave before she turned, sauntering back towards Reg.

"Yeah?"

"You said you were alone before you met your group. Why did you stay?"

She shrugged, "I wasn't planning on it."

"But you're still here. What changed?"

A sigh passed through her lips, "Ya know, I just got really into archery."
