It is night.

Every room, every corner, every part of her home is bathed in darkness.

No light.
None of the lights will turn on.
All electricity is lost.

She searches for a flashlight, a lamp.

Nothing.

"What's going on?" She panicked, running and huddling under covers.

No sign of her mother. No sign of her father. No sign of anyone.

Alone.

Silence.

Hissing.

Voices.

She's looking around the darkened room with the voices in her head.

She looks towards the hallway

There she saw the creature.
The being.

She tensed in her covers, shaking.
The being came closer, their hands behind their back.
They lowered their head when they came close to her.
She could sense the darkness growing around her.
She looked up to the being in horror.
They merely stared back, without eyes.

"Join me now, (Y/N). Become my follower. I have chosen you, now arise and do my bidding."

The girl, twisted with fear could only nod to this command, and followed the entity as it lead her out of her own house into the woods....
