" Rihaan .. You can never hurt someone. You are good to everyone then, why don't you share a good bond with Mom and Dad? " She spilled the beans.
" Hmm .. I'm sleepy Ruby. We will talk tomorrow. " He muttered.

Every time he just runs away from this topic. Radhikaa sincerely feels that there is something wrong and he doesn't want to recall the past. She could feel the discomfort in his gestures and it wasn't good and it's definitely a bitter truth which he was trying to bury deep inside his memories. She want him to overcome it.

" The more you try to avoid, the more you will experience the pain Rihaan." She blurted out.
" I don't want to discuss this topic ever. " he was stern.
" I want you to share it with me once. Trust me, you will feel better. What's that bothering you Rihaan? " she maintained the calm.
He was silent.
" Rihaan you mean everything to me and I can't see you in pain. Please tell me. " she asked again.
" My mother died when I was 12years old. " he muttered looking no where.
" What? "
" Yes. I saw her burning in flame and I used to get nightmares of it for years. " he muttered.
" That's the reason you are afraid of fire. " she hushed.
" Mom loved me and Dad so much. After her demise Dad married in order to take good care of me." He said with a glint of tears.
" Hmm .. She never took care of you then ..." she asked.
" No ... Dad actually never accepted her. He always remembers my mom and was almost depressed for years. Mom used to take care of everything and my parents were the lovable couple. Dad doesn't know how to wear his tie properly because mom used to tie it. In one word, it's like his world that got crashed. " he sounded low.
" I can understand Rihaan. " she assured, patting his shoulder.
" Rajitaji used to try hard to bring him back to normal. She was indeed a good partner to my dad. She managed to engage my dad in his works all the time, striving hard to make him forget the memories of my mom. " he muttered.
" Rajitaji really took a lot of efforts then. She might have thought of a happy married life before her wedding, like every other lady but, she gave her best to bring Dad from his past memories. That's the reason she doesn't want you to get attached to me. Life is really uncertain so, she doesn't want you to suffer like your dad in case of my absence. I completely mis-understood her then. " Radhikaa muttered.
" I can't even breathe in your absence Ruby. " he hushed with teary eyes and embraced her.
" I'll never leave you Rihaan. Our bond is till eternity." She muttered in assurance.
" You still did not accept Rajitaji as your mother right? " she asked.
" I don't know. She made my dad to spend most of his time in work and I hardly got any family time because of it. I have been trying to accept the fact that it wasn't her fault but, deep inside my heart I certainly feel bad. I cannot point out anyone Ruby. It's actually the destiny that made me a stone hearted person. I used t cry for hours, sitting alone in my room, hugging my mom's photo. I was a lonely kid, who have a complete successful, rich family." He spoke his heart, holding her with a firm grip.
" I can understand your agony Rihaan. I can't get back your childhood but, I can assure you that you are not alone any more. I'm here to share anything and everything with you. " She tightened the grip.
There was a sensitive kid inside that emotionless man. That vulnerable soul longing for love. It's struggling to accept the fact that her mom is just in front of him, cherishing the love but, like another person and she understood the agony of that poor soul and decided to bring him out of that vulnerable state.
