"These tickets are for our honeymoon, honey." He said, holding her from back and placing a kiss in the crook of her neck.

She was blushing and her cheeks glowing with the scarlet color made him smile wider. Turning around, she placed her hands lovingly on his shoulders and muttered: "I would love to go."

"We will leave soon wifey. I've got some work to deal with currently and I'll finish them as quickly as possible," he chirped back, caressing her cheek.

"Wait ... work!" She screamed.

"Hmm ..." he shrugged.

"I was already on leave from past few days and I don't think I can go then," she said making a face.

"Yes, you've got a promotion recently and you need to work harder I guess." He said politely.

"Yes, indeed ... I'm quite negligent towards my work these days but, it's totally worth it," she smiled.

Later they had dinner together and started fidgeting with their lappies. It was around 2am and the duo is still working.

"Aren't you feeling sleepy?" she asked, stretching her hands in ease.

"Nopes, need to work wify." He smiled.

"I badly need a break, " she pouted-- placing her lappy aside.

She went to the balcony and was staring at the stary sky. Her thoughts ran back to her home, where her mom used to bring her a stress busting coffee and her dad used to crack jokes to relieve from her work pressure. An unknown smile was spread on her lips with a glint of tears. Just then, Rihaan came there--holding two coffee mugs.

"Have it wifey. I think you need some stress buster." He chirped caringly.

She took the mug and sipped the hot chicory blended nostril soothing coffee and muttered, " Thanks Rihaan. "

Her unusual silence made him talk.

"I'm not a talkative person Wifey and you knew it." He spoke, playing with her hair curls.

"Hmm .. I know," she muttered looking at the sky.

"I'm totally fine," she faked a smile.

"Missing your family?" he asked-- concern clearly audible in his tone.

"Rihaan, I'm really happy that I've got you as my life partner but, I do miss my mom and dad. You know, mumma used to bring me the coffee like you and dad ... he used to sit and crack jokes." She spoke in a melancholic tone.

"I can understand wifey. It's okay. If you wish to go and meet them, I'll accompany you." He smiled, patting her shoulder.

She snuggled closer to him and half hugged his frame, feeling the warmth, she felt relieved. "You are the best thing that could have ever happened to me, Hubby!" She said with a smile.

After a few minutes of caressing and love studded words, they resumed to the work and almost at 3:30am, they slept in unusual postures.

Rihaan felt uncomfortable and woke up, after a while. He saw his wife sleeping with few strands of hair falling on her temple from the loose bun and her fingers placed on the keypad of her lappy. He took the lappy from her lap without causing any sort of disturbance and placed her fragile frame on their cozy bed gently. She cuddled back to him in reflex and slept like a baby.

The most favorite hobby of Rihaan was kissing the feet of her sleeping wife. He caressed her finger tips and held her hand in his fist and placed a kiss on her sole, bending down. She twisted a little due to his touch but, was not disturbed as his kiss was feathery smooth. A smile crept on his lips seeing his sleeping beauty.

"Thanks for making my life heavenly wifey. I will not let you feel sad ever. You will have the surprise tomorrow." He muttered and slept on her side, engulfing her in a warm hug.

Next morning, Radhika was the first one to wake up and was busy with her regular chores. Rihaan was sleeping. Actually, busy acting sleepy. She came and tried to wake him up for umpteen times but, he was in no mood to wake up.

"Rihaan, we will be late today. It's the last wake up call for you and I'm going to leave in 15 minutes." She literally shouted at his ear. He just stirred and slept, turning to the other side.

Just then, she heard the calling bell and attended it. Her parents were at their door step. Her face was glowing with happiness at the sudden sweet surprise. She hugged them and welcomed in.

"Papa ... Mumma thanks for the sudden visit. I was missing you badly. That's an awesome surprise indeed." She rejoiced.

"It's your hubby's surprise after all." her dad muttered.

She was out of words at that very moment. After a good 5minutes of chitchat, they muttered: "we will come after refreshing" and went inside.

She rushed to her room and found the bed empty. "Rihaan" she was shouting and went towards the bathroom and their room was closed with a thud.

"Rihaan ... " she muttered in merriment-- came running to him and hugged him tight at their door.

"Thank you ... thank you so much" she said with happy tears.

"I saw you sleeping with tears yesterday. I wished to see happy tears on your face when I woke up wifey. So, tried an attempt. " he muttered lovingly, holding her in a warm embrace.

"And you succeeded in your attempt, hubby!" She mumbled tightening her grip.
