Radhika was drowned in her thoughts and her mother-in-law came home. She decided to tell about the health condition of Rihaan's father to her.

"Mom, I need to tell you something." She mumbled.
"I'm exhausted dear. We will talk later, " she said and settled on the couch.
"Mom, this is really important. " Radhika huffed.
"Hmm... fine tell me, " she muttered.
"Mom, dad isn't well... he felt dizzy lately," Radhika mumbled.
"I'll ask him to go and meet our doctor then," she said casually.
"Mom, I think he needs some rest. He was really working hard irrespective of his age." She suggested.
"What is your point?! State it clearly." She huffed.

"Mom, I think Dad should take an off from his work, at least for some time. I don't think it is necessary to earn. Moreover in this stage, we should live together. I suggest you, to take good care of him." Radhika said politely.

"What's your problem? You already made Rihaan as your puppet and now, you want us to be your slaves in this house isn't it?" She raged.

"You are taking me all wrong," she said-- shrugging her shoulders and was about to say something.
"I'm getting it all right now. Don't act sweet. I've already told you. Don't make my son a dependent of you. I don't want him to suffer like his dad. If some day you leave him then, he will never be the same." She shouted.

Radhika was numb for a second...

"Why would I leave him ? Even dad was asking the same. What's wrong with all of you people? What are you hiding from me? Enough of this mom. I want to know each and every detail of Rihaan's life. Tell me," Radhika asked after losing her calm.
"Why do you think that I'll answer your rubbish questions ? Ask your sweet husband and his dad," she huffed.
"Fine. I'll get the answers myself then." Radhika muttered.
"Whatever," Rajita said, twisting her lips.

"I'm sure that you are doing wrong towards dad. Being his life partner, you should be responsible but, you seldom care. I'm sorry to say this but I definitely envy you for this mom." Radhika muttered and dashed into her room.

After a few hours, Rihaan's Dad came home and Radhika went and enquired about his condition, for he said that he was absolutely fine.

Rihaan's mom was nowhere in the house, probably went out on some work. So, Radhika asked about the details of their family. The old man answered briefly, without even giving a hint of something fishy. Radhika felt that he was not going to answer it in the right way. So, she just faked a smile in acceptance. She brought the perfume that they brought for him and gifted it.

The old man smelled the fragrance and admired her taste. He also said that he will save it for some special occasions and winked at her. Radhika was very comfortable with him and treated him as her dad. Later they enjoyed the sandwiches, which were made especially for him by Radhika.

It was the night time. After packing their luggage, the old couple got ready for their departure.

"I'm sorry for my behavior. It's just that I'm from a family, where we believe that love and affection are the true essences of life." She mumbled, joining her palm-- with a lowered gaze towards Rihaan's mom.
"You are a kiddo. Maintain your calm," she said and went away without any further discussion.

"Dad, I'm going to miss you so much. Thanks for comforting me. Please take good care of your health," she muttered-- touching the feet of Rihaan's father, with a glint of tears.

"My decision for choosing you as Rihaan's wife is absolutely correct dear. Stay blessed." He wished, handing her a cover.
"What's this dad? " she mumbled.
"A gift from your dad dear." He smirked.
"I wish if Rihaan could be here." She muttered disappointedly.
" Don't worry sweetheart. The gift is something that grants you your husband's precious time. Open it in his presence," he said with a wink, patting on her shoulder.

Radhika's lips curved into a smile. The old couple left and Radhika was wondering about the cover.

*************

Later, Rihaan came home-- completely exhausted.

"I'm glad that you came home hubby, I've been waiting for you from so long. I was about to call you. Actually, I've something for you." Radhika muttered, loosening his tie.
"I knew it" he smirked, placing his lips on her's.
"Shii ... not that." She said, blushing.
"Not that ... as in what?" he asked teasingly.
"You knew it better than me, " she said-- lowering the gaze and drawing random patterns on his shoulder.
"Well, in that case, I can teach you in a better way," he said sheepishly--placing his hands over her shoulders.
"Let me tell you what I want to say," she pouted.
"Okay ..." he said, flinching back.

She brought the cover and said that it's the gift from his dad and opened it.
"Flight tickets?! " She muttered in confusion.
"Oh really ... " He came and took them.
"Switzerland" he muttered, moving the tickets in the air.
"Switzerland?! Are we going to launch a new branch there?" she asked in amusement.
"These tickets are for our honeymoon, honey." He said, holding her from back and placing a kiss in the crook of her neck.
