Once I was finished in Ian's shower, I smiled softly to myself liking the smell of his shampoo. I quickly got dressed in my warm pajamas.

I walked back downstairs to see Lucas and Ethan chatting until they heard me. "Took you long enough." Ethan teased making me roll my eyes sitting beside him. I looked over at them sitting in uncomfortable silence making me smile curiously at Ethan's sudden nervousness.

I decided against asking them about it as I suddenly felt nauseous. It wasn't enough to run to the bathroom again making me clear my throat. I got up to look for snacks feeling hungry when Lucas spoke. "Should we order takeout? I'm starving and who knows how long they will be." He said making me chuckle. "Yeah, sure. You can pick." I replied handing him a few takeout menus from the fridge.

Lucas went into the kitchen out of earshot to call the restaurant making me sit beside Ethan again. "You sure you're alright? You seem on edge." I said noticing how tense he was beside me. "I'm okay. The stitches are starting to hurt is all." He answered making me nod knowing the medication the doctors gave him would be wearing off soon.

I gave Ethan aspirin to help his discomfort as Lucas hung up and came back into the room. "I got everything that looked good." He said making me laugh lightly as he grabbed his coat to pick up the food soon. "When do you think Colton and Ian will be back?" Lucas asked me making me shrug. "Maybe an hour." I answered remembering the hundred-dollar bill Ethan gave him.

After a few minutes of chatting, he left to pick up our takeout making me get comfortable on the couch beside Ethan. We watched a movie called The Other Guys making me chuckle to myself every once in a while, when they said something funny until Ethan spoke.

"Are you excited to graduate next month?" He asked making me look up at him for a moment. "Yeah, I guess. One less thing to have to worry about." I answered making him hum in reply as I got comfortable against his side resting my head on his chest.

"You smell like Ian." Ethan stated making me chuckle weakly. "I used his shower." I replied making him grow silent knowing he was wondering why until he soon realized. He brought me closer wrapping his arm around me making me relax into him.

"Does Sarah and your parents know what happened?" I asked after a few minutes of comfortable silence as we watched the movie. "Yeah. She visited us in the hospital." He answered making me frown at neither of his parents coming to make sure he was alright.

"As soon as they take my stitches out, I am treating you to a real valentine's day date." Ethan said into my ear making me smile as he kissed the top of my head. "This is a perfect date. All I need is you." I replied looking up at him making him smile before kissing me soft and sweetly.

We heard the door open making us pull away to see Lucas holding multiple bags of food. I reluctantly sat up to walk towards him to help. "How much was it?" I asked as I placed some of the bags on the counter. "Don't worry about it." Lucas replied as I went through my wallet only having a twenty-dollar bill left.

"Thank you." I smiled struggling to get used to the idea of others buying things for me. I saw Ethan struggling to stand after getting up off the couch making me walk over to quickly help him. "I'm fine, I'm fine." He groaned in annoyance making me roll mt eyes ignoring him.

I continued to help him walk up to the bar stools with his weight on me. I sat beside him as Lucas, and I pulled out all the cartons of food. I grabbed a carton of orange chicken to start eating when the door opened making me pull my bite away from my mouth.

I got up and walked towards the door to see Ian and Colton struggling with grocery bags making me quickly rush to help. "Was all this food really necessary?" I asked making them chuckle. "It's all thanks to Ethan. And they were having a sale on some things." Ian explained as we all put them on the counter. I looked over at Ethan seeing his infamous smug smile I loved so much making me roll my eyes. But I couldn't ignore the feeling he caused in my stomach giving me butterflies.

I saw Colton going up the stairs after leaving the kitchen making me frown but Ian spoke making me let it go. "I got you a bunch of ingredients to bake with." He said making me smile at him thinking of me. "Thank you. I'll make something for everyone tomorrow maybe." I smiled excitedly making Lucas chuckle knowing how much he likes my blueberry muffins.

As we all began to eat Colton came back into the kitchen to grab something to eat. I wanted to ask why he went upstairs but ignored it not wanting to sound paranoid. "Lucas what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with Allison?" I asked in realization with my mouth full making him shrug.

"Ethan texted saying I was needed. I told her we would go out tomorrow night." Lucas explained making me shake my head quickly. "Don't be ridiculous. It's only six you still have time for a date." I said after finishing my bite. I could tell he was about to continue to protest making me interrupt him.

"Leave, Lucas. Allison needs you more than we do." I stated sternly standing up out of my seat. After a moment he sighed holding his hands up in surrender after putting his food down on the counter. "Alright, Alright. I'll see you guys tomorrow for muffins." He said as he walked out of the room to leave making me chuckle.

"Ian you shouldn't be here either. Don't you have a date with that Lily girl?" Ethan asked as they ate making Ian nod. "Yeah, but I told her we would go out tomorrow." He said making me frown. "What, no? You shouldn't do that she was looking forward to the fair." I said making him look up at me with furrowed eyes.

"You just got back from the hospital. Today." Ian stated making me roll my eyes. "Ian, I am fine. Ethan and I are fine. Please go on your date. You and Lily deserve to go have fun after what happened." I said the last part looking away from him full of guilt making him sigh.

"Fine. Only because I know I will never hear the end of it from either of you." Ian said rolling his eyes making me chuckle weakly. "Text me after a few hours to make sure you're okay." I said as he grabbed his coat and my keys before leaving.

"I suppose it's my turn for you to guilt me into going home to Daniel." Colton said with his mouth full of noodles making Ethan laugh lightly. "It's alright, Colton. You can go. I doubt anything will happen tonight after killing all of Nigel's men." Ethan said to him as he ate making him shrug putting his plate in the sink.

"Alright. I'll see you later." Colton said giving me a smile making me do the same before he left making me sigh heavily. "I can't remember the last time we had the house to ourselves." I said as I sat back down to eat my now cold food making him chuckle.

"I do." Ethan replied spinning the barstool making me face him. I laughed as he pulled the stool closer to him making it scrape against the floor. He looked down at me with a bright smile making me laugh looking up at him. "What?" I smiled as he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

He looked down at me with so much adoration and intensity making me squirm under his intense gaze memorizing my features. "That is the last time you have to worry about our lives at stake. It's the last time." He stated sternly full of seriousness as he ran his thumb across my cheek softly. "No one is ever touching you like that again. I promise." Ethan continued before leaning down to kiss me passionately.

"Never again."

Ethan and I were now finished eating as I put all the groceries and left-over takeout away. "Are you sure I can't help?" He asked again making me roll my eyes putting the food in the fridge.

"Yes, the doctor said not to put too much weight on your leg." I said not looking at him as I tried to hurry to put everything away wanting to get off my feet. "You should be resting too, Amelia." He said making me frown looking up at him not used to him saying mt full name.

I decided against saying I was alright to be walking around knowing he could easily see right through my lies. "I'm almost done." I muttered as I looked away to continue.

After a few more minutes I was finally done cleaning off the counters making me sigh heavily. "Do you want to sleep down here? It may be easier, so you don't have to go up and down the stairs." I suggested walking up to him sitting on the stool. "No, I want to sleep in our bed. I don't plan on coming back downstairs." He replied with a mischievous smile making me laugh lightly.

"Oh?" I smiled as he pulled my waist closer to him before pushing up the hem of my hoodie. I felt his warm hands against my bare waist as he started to kiss my jawline. "Happy valentine's day, baby." Ethan whispered in a deep voice as he kissed my neck making me close my eyes for a moment.

"I should help you upstairs then." I whispered back pulling away slightly making him smile up at me. We walked upstairs as he held onto me and the railing for support until we got to my room. "Do you want to take a shower? It'll be difficult but-" I began as I continued to walk inside until he grabbed my hand spinning me around. I was about to ask what he was doing until he spoke.

"I love you. So much. And I know how much you hate what I do and how many people try to come between us. I'm sorry you've had to deal with it so many times I never expected anything like this to have happened when I fell for you that day. So, thank you for dealing with it all I know how hard it must've been for you and Ian." Ethan said more serious than before. Full of regret and sadness making me frown as he continued.

"But it just goes to show how strong we are together and how no one no matter who they are can come between us." He said never tearing his eyes away from mine as I looked up at him with a weak smile. I knew he was right, and I loved how he was sharing how he felt with me but all I wanted to do was lay down. "I agree." I smiled making him look between us in nervousness.

I smiled up at him amused not ever seeing him this nervous with me before until he began to pull away. I frowned as he pulled out a small box from his front jean pocket making me frown.

"I would get on one knee but... you know." Ethan said opening the small white box making my lips part and eyes widen. I was met with a stunning, large diamond ring shining up at me making me cover my mouth. "Ethan, w-" I began until he cut me off again.

"Will you marry me, Amelia?"
