"How would I go about contacting Ethan's family. Hypothetically." I asked I wiped off the diner countertops as Lucas sat eating a burger. "Why?" He asked with his mouth full making me sigh.

"Is there some type of hotline? Or bat signal I am supposed to beam into the sky?" I joked not wanted to answer him making him chuckle. "I can take you to where they all... work." Lucas replied trying to find the right words making me frown.

"I just need an address." I stated making him smile amused. "They don't do addresses." He stated making me roll my eyes.

"Why?" Lucas asked again making me turn around to place the cleaning supplies under the counter. "No reason. Just wondering." I replied before a customer walked in making me walk away before he could protest.

"You better not be planning anything. Their family doesn't like confrontation if they didn't insinuate it first." Lucas stated as I came back from giving the customer her order. "I'm not planning anything." I lied not looking at him as I poured him more coffee.

"Hey." Chloe breathed as she walked in shaking her coat off. "How was your holiday?" She asked making me smile softly remembering Ethan and I's news on Christmas.

"Great." I replied honestly making her smile until she saw Lucas. "Oh, hey. I'm Chloe." She said to him making him nod. "Lucas." He replied before taking a sip of his coffee.

"What's with you bringing all kinds of hot guys to work?" Chloe joked as she tied on her apron making Lucas smirk and I rolled my eyes. "I had no choice this time." I replied annoyed making Lucas chuckle to himself.

This past week Ethan has insisted that someone always be with me while I am at home or work since finding out I am pregnant. I know his heart is in the right place, but I can't help but feel annoyed. At Ethan, Lucas and Colton and the occasional unfamiliar man sent to watch my every move to make sure I am okay.

Lucas and Colton all just think it is just Ethan being his usual paranoid self not wanting me to get kidnapped again. Especially now that his whole family knows I know all about all of them.

"So, I am assuming everything is okay with you and Ethan." Chloe said snapping out of my thoughts. I frowned before realizing I had told her we were in a rocking situation a few weeks ago.

"Yeah, we're fine." I replied making her smile softly before a couple walked in making her seat them. "She's hot." Lucas stated as he finished eating making me roll my eyes.

"I'm sure Allison would be very pleased to hear you say that about Chloe." I replied sarcastically making him chuckle. "I can't have eyes?" He replied making me roll my eyes again.

"Allison doesn't have anything to worry about. Chloe isn't interested in men... like you. Believe me." I replied through an amused chuckle debating on if I should tell him she is gay. "She said I was hot." Lucas stated as I picked up his empty plate making me chuckle.

"She can't have eyes?" I replied amused making Lucas roll his eyes as he fought his smile. "When are you off?" He whined as I placed his plate on the other counter.

"Half hour." I replied making him roll his eyes. "Can't you just bail then?" Lucas asked making me roll my eyes as I walked over to him again.

"No, I can't just bail." I replied making him groan in annoyance. "Why do you have somewhere to be?" I asked starting to feel bad for taking up his time.

"I have a date with Alli soon." Lucas stated before taking a swig of his coffee making me frown. "Then just go. I'm off soon and Colton is meeting me at home anyway." I said making him shake his head making me interrupt him as he started to reply.

"Just go. Nothing will happen by the time I leave here and go home." I stated amused making him roll his eyes. "Ethan will kill me." Lucas replied making me roll my eyes as I fought my smile.

"I'll handle him of he finds out. Just go and tell Allison I said hi." I pushed making him sigh as he stood up. "Fine. See you tomorrow." Lucas replied as he raked his fingers through his hair making me chuckle.

"Have fun!" I beamed as he left making him flip me off walking backwards as he fought his smile. I laughed as he turned around to leave before I saw him pull out of the parking lot.

"Where's he off to?" Chloe asked as she wiped down the tables. "Off on a date with his girlfriend." I answered making her smile softly.

"Does everyone have a girlfriend but me?" Chloe whined as she motioned to the couple in the corner of the diner. "As soon as I find a single woman, I'll hook you up." I laughed making her chuckle as she finished cleaning.

As I drove home, I placed my palm over my small baby bump. I knew I was only in the first trimester and my bump wasn't noticeable to other yet, but I could already tell the changes in my body and mood.

Foods and smells bother me now and I have times when my nausea keeps me from going to work. I can smell everyone's cologne and perfume during the day of taking peoples orders and the smell of all the food lingers through the air. Making it even harder for me to convince Colton or Lucas I am fine when they are at work with me.

Ethan even had to stop wearing his cologne that I previously loved because it was bothering me too much. I'm not looking forward to the other symptoms as time goes on.

"Hey, Colton." I breathed as I took off my coat and flicked my keys by the door. "How was work?" He asked not looking up from his phone.

I had given Colton and Lucas a spare key to my home, so they didn't have to wait for me in the cold when I am running late from work.

"Lame." I replied as I opened the fridge making me frown as I saw it was mostly empty. "I'm hungry." I whined making him fight his smile as he continued to look at his phone.

"We can't leave." Colton stated making me roll my eyes. "No one is going to assonate me while you go get takeout." I stated annoyed making him look at me finally.

"Would you rather him be upset for you getting food for me or letting me starve?" I asked as he was about to protest making him sigh in annoyance as he stood. "Don't you dare open the door for anyone but me." Colton demanded sternly making me nod as I drew a cross over my heart.

"Eggs and bacon with a side of pickles." I listed making him roll his eyes as he left my house. I sighed as I sat down on my couch before turning on the tv.

A sappy romance movie was on making me roll my eyes before I continued to watch it. After almost a half hour of me getting sucked into the movie, I noticed the sun was long gone as the door knocked making me roll my eyes.

"You have a key!" I yelled not getting up making Colton knock again as I rolled my eyes as I stood. "You're making me miss it." I muttered before opening the door to Colton glaring at me.

"You didn't even ask if it was me." Colton stated as he moved past me with the bags of food. "Who else would it be?" I asked amused as I followed him into the kitchen.

"Lots of people. We aren't very well liked if you hadn't noticed." Colton replied making me roll my eyes. "You need to start taking precautions now that you and Ethan are serious, and his family knows about you." He stated sternly as we started to eat.

"I know, sorry. I'm just not used to all this." I confessed with my mouth full making him chuckle. "What would you want to do if you weren't born into a gang?" I asked after a few minutes of comfortable silence.

"What do you mean?" Colton asked making me shrug. "What would you want to be? As a job. A teacher, cook, doctor, lawyer." I listed as I continued to eat making him shrug looking away from me.

"I don't know. I never thought about any other job besides the one that was handed to me." He confessed making me nod. "What do you want to be?" Colton asked making me chuckle.

"I doubt I will be anything now that I am affiliated with you all." I stated amused making him nod knowing I was right. "What would you want to be?" Colton corrected making me shrug again.

"I wanted to be a teacher." I answered making him smile softly before looking down to eat. I was about to continue when the door opened making Colton stand up quickly before walking into the other room.

"Just me." Ethan stated as he saw Colton's worried features. My heart instantly fluttered as I saw him walk towards me before bending down to give me a kiss.

"I should go. See you tomorrow." Colton said as we pulled apart making me smile as he grabbed his things before leaving. "How was your day?" I asked as he sat where Colton was.

"Boring. Why was Lucas home early?" Ethan asked amused making me roll my eyes. "It was only by half an hour. He had a date and I felt bad for taking up his time." I answered as I finished eating making him frown.

"That's the point of his job, Amelia. What if someone was waiting for you by your car? Or-" Ethan started until I interrupted him. "But no one was. Look," I motioned to myself. "I'm fine." I stated amused making him frown in frustration.

"Just let them do their jobs. It's the only way to insure you two are safe." He stated sternly as he sat up to walk towards me. "Fine." I whined making him smile down at me before wrapping his arms around my waist.

"And I'll buy you food. Don't make him leave you alone either." Ethan continued motioning to our food on the counter. "I can buy my own food. I just haven't had time to go shopping." I replied making him pull me closer.

"We are having a child together. Let me start providing for you." He stated softly hoping I wouldn't argue making me frown. "Like what?" I asked hesitantly making him smile down at me.

"I'll buy you anything you want and need. It's all up to you." Ethan replied making me look away to think. "O-Only things related to the baby. I can pay for everything else." I negotiated making him nod before kissing me softly.

"Have you told Ian yet?" Ethan asked hesitantly making me pull away before cleaning up after Colton and I. "No." I answered simply as the thought made my palms sweat and heart beat erratically.

"When will you? Sarah and them are starting to see signs of us lying and keeping something. It'll be hard to keep this for very much longer." He stated making me frown as I threw the takeout away. "I know. I will." I replied not answering him as hesitantly placed my hand over my stomach.

"What will your family do once they know? You don't have to pick sides in order to be with me. You can still have a relationship with them. And if you do choose me over them will you resent me for it in the future? Or will this just make your family hate me even more and try everything in their power to separate us? I know your family is counting on you to take the family business and I don't what to take that away from you or them." I said quickly as I remembered everything Ian had said to me last week.

"I don't care about any of that. My family has nothing to do with us." Ethan stated as he walked towards me making me frown. "But I care. Your family has everything to do with us. They could easily come over to my house and kill me for being with you. And for knowing everything about them. Your family has everything to do with us." I stated sternly as tears collected in my eyes.

"I will handle them, Amelia. Please don't worry about any of this. I will deal with it all once it's time to." Ethan replied as he held me. I hesitantly hugged him back as the side of my head rested against his warm chest.

I stayed silent realizing he didn't answer any of my questions I have been stressing over ever since Ian asked the same.
