"Morning." I breathed out as I saw Ethan start to awake beside me. He lifted his head from my chest before towering over me.

Ethan placed his lips against mine making me smile softly. I raked my hand behind his neck as I kissed him back.

"How'd you sleep?" He asked as he pulled away slowly. "Alright. I woke up early." I answered hesitantly as I pulled away to lean against the headboard.

"How come?" Ethan asked again noticing my uneasiness. "No reason. I'm going to take a shower." I said as I pulled away from under him.

"You can join if you'd like." I continued with a smirk looking back at him as I entered his bathroom. I turned my head away from him while taking off my shirt as I noticed his grin.

"Good morning!" Sarah beamed with slight stress in her voice as she attempted to make breakfast. "What are you making?" I asked trying to mask my disgust from the aroma of burnt eggs.

"Well, I was trying to make everyone breakfast. But it seems I should have left it for the help." She groaned making me chuckle. She backed away from the stove placing her hands on her hips giving up.

"Go sit." I said through my laugh as I filled the hot pan with water. I grabbed another pan before continuing to make breakfast.

She did as I said as I felt Ethan's eyes on my every move. I quickly ignored him not wanting to fall apart under his gaze. My thoughts were interrupted as Sarah spoke making me jump slightly.

"This afternoon I am going to a dance studio with some of my friends. Would you like to come?" She asked making me frown softly not looking away from the pan of eggs. "No, that's okay. I'm not any good." I stated making her chuckle.

"Neither am I! It's just for fun." She replied making me smile weakly. "I don't know." I said looking at her for a moment before flipping the eggs causing them to stay silent. I heard a noise before someone groaning making me frown.

I turned to see Ethan holding his shin as he sat next to Sarah before he saw me. "I-It sounds like fun, babe. Don't worry I won't miss you too much." Ethan said making me chuckle as I placed their eggs on plates.

"Sure. But it has been awhile since I have even practiced." I stated making Sarah look away from her eggs. "You danced?" She asked intrigued making me nod.

"Ballet." I answered making her smile at me as we ate. "For how long?" Sarah asked making me shrug lightly.

"About ten years maybe." I said not looking up at them as I took another bite. "Why'd you stop?" She asked again making me fight my frown.

"Had to start spending my money on other things." I answered simply as I looked away from her again making her nod. She was about to reply when Victor walked in.

"Good morning." He said before his wife walked in a few steps behind him. "Hello. There are some eggs if you are hungry." I said to them as I started to wash my plate.

"You made breakfast?" Cynthia asked making me turn my head to look at her. "I hope you don't mind. I-" I started before Sarah cut me off.

"I was at first, but I failed miserably. She basically saved me from burning the house down." She said making everyone laugh before placing my dry plate back in the cupboard.

"Thank you." Victor said making me smile softly before sitting beside Ethan. I couldn't help but stare at him in awe as his damp dark brown hair laid messy on his head.

I started remembering earlier and our moment in the shower. I instantly looked away not wanting to get flustered in front of everyone.

I felt his hand on my thigh making me look up at him again to see him grinning down at me. I smiled up at him briefly before Sarah spoke.

"Amelia just told us that she used to take ballet. Seems like no matter how much we think we know you; you still end up surprising us." Sarah chuckled making me roll my eyes. "It didn't seem important to share." I confessed making her roll her eyes back as Victor and Cynthia smiled.

"Well, maybe it isn't but it's at least interesting. And I don't know about you, but I would love to see you dance sometime." Sarah stated making me tense slightly against Ethan. "M-Maybe." I answered hesitantly making her smile.

"My friends are picking us up at noon." She said with a smile as she left the room. After a few minutes of small talk Victor went upstairs before kissing his wife goodbye.

"We have three hours to spare." Ethan said as he leaned into my ear before kissing my neck softly. "Oh?" I replied through a smile as he pulled away to look down at me.

"I'd like to go finish what we started." He whispered in a husky voice before kissing me passionately. The familiar feelings he caused within me quickly faded as I heard Lucas interrupt us.

"Get a room." He groaned quickly making me pull away from Ethan. "Fuck off." Ethan replied as I ran my fingers through my hair making Lucas roll his eyes.

"Colton wanted me to remind you about today." Lucas said hesitantly obviously uncomfortable with me being here. "Shit. That's today?" He asked worried making Lucas nod.

"It starts in half an hour." He stated making Ethan sit up quickly. I frowned as he rushed into the foyer for his jacket and keys before stopping.

"I'm sorry. I have somewhere to be." Ethan said quickly as he walked towards me again. "I'll see you later." He continued before placing a quick kiss on my lips before leaving.

Ethan left me utterly confused making me tear my eyes away from the front door. "What was so urgent?" I asked as Lucas poured cereal.

"Gang stuff." He answered vaguely making me frown. "Suppose I'm not privy to that information." I stated making him smile up at me amused.

"No." Lucas answered through a smile as he looked down at his bowl. I rolled my eyes before getting out of my seat.

I started walking out the kitchen before Lucas spoke making me stop in my tracks. "Are you okay?" He asked making me frown.

"Well, I'm annoyed. I should be able to know-" I started as I turned to face him before he cut me off. "That's not what I mean." Lucas said making me frown.

"That night at the pier was intense. Especially for you. Have you talked to him about that night?" Lucas asked seriously making me frown. How could he be so annoyed with me then so caring in just a matter of seconds?

"I'm fine." I replied before looking away to continue leaving before I heard him get up from his chair. "You were kidnapped, Amelia. Twice. You were threatened and you had to shoot-" Lucas stated until I interrupted.

"Don't." I demanded failing to sound stern making him walk towards me. "I don't want to talk about this right now, Lucas." I confessed as I turned around before he grabbed my arm.

I look down at his hand against my upper arm before looking up at his concerned features. "Your cereal is getting soggy." I muttered after a few moments as he continued to burn his blue eyes into mine.

"Ethan won't be back until tomorrow. I can drive if you need a ride home." Lucas stated emotionless as he turned and walked away from me. "O-Oh. No, that's okay. Sarah is taking me out." I replied as he sat back down to continue eating.

Lucas simply nodded making me frown before continuing to leave hesitantly. What the hell just happened?

I went over everything that had just happened between Lucas and I as I walked back upstairs. I was met with the upstairs hallway until I bumped into someone making me stumble.

"Sorry, I didn't see you." I said through a weak smile as I looked up at Sarah. "No worries! Where's Ethan?" She asked making me shrug.

"Lucas said he had to be somewhere with Colton." I answered making her eyes glaze over with realization. "I had totally forgotten. Do you wanna go to the mall before dancing?" Sarah asked making me smile softly at her attempt to make me feel better.

"Sure. Let me get ready first." I answered motioning down at my sweats and a hoodie making her chuckle. "Great! I'll tell the girls." She beamed taking her phone from her pocket as I walked into Ethan's bedroom.

After I shut the door I walked over to Ethan's dresser. I smiled softly as I opened my dresser drawer, he had given me.

Lately I have been coming to his home more and more often since Ian is always out with Lily and their friends. And it helps that Victor and Cynthia both work as Sarah and Lucas hang out with their own friends. Leaving us both alone most nights.

Once I was finished getting dressed, I looked at my reflection beside the bedroom door. I wore black leggings with a matching workout bra under a white crop top.

I quickly slid my feet in my white running shoes before tying my hair in a ponytail. "You look hot! Who knew what you had under your hoodies and sweatpants?" Sarah beamed making me roll my eyes. "You look good too." I replied through a chuckle making her smile.

Good was an understatement. I could see why Ethan and all the guys were worried about who she dated. And why Tyler felt like he had fallen in love with her. Anyone would.

Sarah was wearing burgundy leggings with parts of sheer material showing off her toned legs. She had a matching sports bra that showed cleavage but not too much with intricate straps against her back. I instantly felt intimidated at how beautiful she was compared to me

"Are you coming to our Christmas party?" Sarah asked making me snap from my thoughts. "Yes. Hopefully, it will be less stressful than Halloween now that I am used to you all." I stated making her laugh as we finished walking downstairs.

I stopped smiling from the sound of her laugh as I heard Lucas clear his throat. "W-Where are you going?" He asked trying to mask his emotions making me frown.

"Out with Nina and Liv. I'll tell Nina you say hi." Sarah teased making Lucas' jaw tense in annoyance. "We aren't getting together no matter how hard you try." Lucas stated sternly making her roll her eyes.

"You two would be so cute! Why can't you just give into one date?" Sarah whined making him fill with annoyance. "I said no. She isn't my type." Lucas said the last part to himself before his eyes met mine.

"Whatever." Sarah groaned making us tear our eyes away from each other. "Make sure to text Ethan every once in a while." Lucas said emotionless as he walked past me making me frown in confusion.

I ignored it as I felt Sarah's hand in mine pulling me out the door. I saw an unfamiliar car parked in their gravel driveway. I instantly eased as I saw a girl roll down her window with a large smile on her face.

"Hey!" Sarah beamed before rushing towards the car. I quickly followed until we slid into the backseat. "This is Amelia. Ethan's girl. This is Liv and Nina." Sarah introduced making me smile as Nina started driving away from the house.

"Nice to finally meet you! It is very impressive to everyone at how you managed to stay with him for so long. It is so unlike him." Liv stated through a smile making me shrug. "To be honest I don't know either." I replied honestly making them all laugh lightly.

"It's nice to have someone else in the group. Sometimes it can get boring with just these two." Nina said trying to fight a smile as Liv and Sarah rolled their eyes. "Thanks. It's been awhile since I've done something fun with a group." I replied making them all smile to themselves.

"So, how long have you two been dating? Is he as good in bed as I suspect?" Liv asked with a grin making Sarah groan beside me. "Liv! That's my brother." Sarah groaned in annoyance making Liv shrug as I held my laugh.

"We've been dating for almost four months." I said making her nod as Nina smiled as she parked. "God, I wish I had a boyfriend." Liv whined as we all started walking towards the mall.

"Boys are overrated." Nina stated making Sarah and I laugh. "You're not dating anyone?" I asked Nina remembering Sarah and Lucas' conversation.

"Haven't found the right person." She answered simply making me smile softly. "The day Nina finally gives into dating will be when pigs fly." Sarah joked making Nina roll her eyes.

"Sorry for not thinking guys with tattoos and daddy issues are attractive. I would rather date someone who goes to a therapist as an option. Not because he has numerous reasons he has to go." Nina stated making Liv and Sarah roll their eyes as I continued to listen. "Besides whom wants to be with a someone who could die anytime they leave the house? That gang life just isn't for me. I have enough of that now." She continued until her eyes glazed over with realization and regret.

"Shit. Sorry I didn't mean-" Nina started as she looked back at me worried. "No, no. It's okay I understand. Sometimes I think the same." I confessed making her smile weakly as Sarah frowned. I quickly ignored it as Liv spoke.

"Their daddy issues and tattoos are the best part. Gives them an edge." Liv stated through a smile as she stared at a man passing us. Nina and Sarah rolled their eyes at the guys smirk as he passed before Sarah spoke.

"So that's a no to Lucas?" Sarah stated more than asked making Nina scoff. "Definitely. Every time we even talk, he is always lost in space. He probably has a girl he has been seeing on the side. Makes sense as to his behavior and why he would want to keep her hidden from your family." Nina said making Sarah laugh.

"I'm surprised Ethan had the guts to introduce you to our parents. They aren't the most understanding." She said through an amused smile as Liv and Nina chuckled. "Wasn't your Dad not in the... gang life when he met your Mom. I would think they would be understanding." I said making her chuckle softly as we continued to stroll around the mall.

"Yes, my Mom married a man outside of her... occupation which was-is frowned upon. But since my Mom is the daughter to the most powerful couples it was slightly less dangerous. They still had hoops to jump through but probably not as many as Lucas or Colton would. But to this day neither of my parents talk about what happened and what they had to do to prove themselves to my Mothers' side of the family." Sarah explained nonchalantly before Liv noticed a store across from us.

"What's Ethan's favorite color?" Liv asked through a grin ignoring everything Sarah had just said. We walked into a lingerie store making my lips part. "What-I-I could never wear these." I stated hesitantly as I grabbed an intricate lingerie piece off a rack.

"They have different things! Besides this could be considered your Christmas gift." Liv said with a mischievous grin holding up a black lace one piece. "I'm going over there if you are all going to be shopping for my brother." Sarah groaned before walking to a different corner of the store.

"So! What is his favorite color?" Liv beamed as she placed the one piece back. "Red." I answered finally making her chuckle. "Typical." Liv replied making Nina laugh.

"I actually already have a piece I bought a while ago." I stated hesitantly making them both looking away from their clothing racks. "What does it look like?" "Have you worn it with him?" Nina and Liv asked in unison making me laugh lightly at how different they both are.

"Just a simple black one and no. I'm too nervous. What if I look like a fool or if he doesn't like it?" I asked softly making Nina smile as Liv rolled her eyes. "I'm sure he will like anything you wear. Especially if it is this." Nina stated as he held up a dark purple sheer one piece.

I just chuckled as I shook my head making her place it back. "No guy really cares what his girl is wearing. As long as it is attractive as easy to take off. They don't pay attention to the things we do." Liv stated making me nod knowing she was probably right.

"I know. Sometimes it can be a little scary knowing all the other women he has been with." I stated honestly as I continued to aimlessly flick through the hangers. "Does he bring them up with you?" Nina asked concerned making me shake my head quickly.

"No, no. But we had ran into one of his... flings at our school. And he mentioned when we first met that he had a girlfriend that he used to cheat on." I answered silently scolding myself for sharing all this with them.

"The only thing important is that he is only with you and you trust him enough to know that. Peoples past don't determine who they are as a person." Nina said making me look up at her. She continued to look down at the lingerie making me smile weakly as I looked away.

"You're probably right. I just don't know if I am this kind of person." I confessed as I held a piece up to me making them laugh. "These don't determine who you are. They just help you release this type of person that is already within you. These are for our boyfriends to see and feel but they are for us to feel sexy and confident in. Beautiful even." Nina replied making me smile softly up at her.

"But mainly to have your man stare at you with hunger." Liv said through a deep voice trying to fight her smile. Nina and I started laughing as she continued rolling her r's creating a loud purr.

I knew she was right. Right about these not determining who we are as people. I should know that more than them having been experienced working in a profession that exploits my body to men for money. That was not the type of person I was even though I did it anyway. I was merely just for the income.

So maybe wearing something sheer and extremely revealing for Ethan wasn't as a big deal as all my insecurities were making it out to be.
