"People are going to be really confused." I stated as I pulled books from my locker. "Why?" Ethan asked as he leaned on the lockers towering over me.

"I've told everyone that we aren't together. And now we are." I stated as I closed my locker making him roll his eyes. "Who cares? It isn't their business." He replied making me nod lightly knowing he was right.

"Homecoming is this weekend." Ethan stated as we walked hand in hand down the hall. "I'm aware." I replied trying to fight my smile making him chuckle.

"We should go." He said making me smile up at him. "Are you asking me to a dance? You don't seem like a very formal person." I teased making him roll his eyes.

"We've been to a party together before." Ethan stated making me smile lightly as I replied. "True." I chuckled as we stopped walking by our classroom door.

"So?" He asked amused making me smile up at him again. "Of course, I'll go with you. I'll have to call out of work." I stated making him nod as he looked down at my hand he was holding. I could tell he wanted to say something as he stared down in deep thought, but I ignored it as the bell rang.

"I thought you said you two weren't an item?" Rebecca whispered next to me as we took a test making me look away from my paper. "It's new." I explained making her nod as she looked over to Ethan beside me.

"You two make a really cute couple." She stated making me smile softly. "So, do you and Rick. He seems nice." I said before looking down at my test to continue before she replied.

"Maybe we can hang out and gossip about them. It's nice to have a girlfriend that isn't so negative or narcissistic." Rebecca groaned making me chuckle. "Sure, maybe next weekend." I said with a smile making her nod before we continued our English test.

After a few moments I heard Ethan groan beside me making me turn away from my test again. "What's wrong?" I whispered making him look up at me. "I don't get this." He answered full of annoyance making me roll my eyes.

"Just remember what we studied about Macbeth. The curse and what the witches did to him. And what makes the story so tragic." I replied as he looked back down smiling softly making me frown but I ignored it as I continued my own test.

After a few more minutes the bell rang making everyone rush from their seats. "Didn't you learn anything from all the times we studied?" I asked through a smile as we walked towards the cafeteria.

"It's cute of you to think I asked you over to actually study. Do I seem like the type of person to care about school?" Ethan asked amused making me roll my eyes. "Then why did you say you wanted to study?" I asked annoyed making him chuckle as we stopped in line.

"To see more of you." He answered as he pulled my waist towards his making me roll my eyes again. "Thanks for wasting my time then. I made notes for you that took time." I stated annoyed failing to fight my smile as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"You're welcome." He replied through an amused smile making me scoff lightly through mine. "And if I hadn't invited you. We wouldn't've spent the night together." Ethan continued as he kissed my jawline softly. I filled with butterflies and warmth at the memory making me pull away to place my lips against his.

"Who was that girl you were talking to at the party?" I asked hesitantly as we ate our lunch. "I don't know her name. She's just some girl I hooked up with once or twice." He answered making me frown as I stabbed into macaroni and cheese.

"I'll stop talking to her." Ethan stated making me look up at him. "I thought about you the whole time anyway." He continued with a full mouth making me roll my eyes. "I'm touched." I replied sarcastically making him smile.

"Have you been with a guy before me?" Ethan asked making me shrug. "A couple years ago. But it wasn't serious. I just said yes to being with him because I felt bad and I felt like I had to. He asked a couple times before I finally said yes, and all my friends were dating at the time. He was annoying." I said the last part through a small laugh making him hum in reply.

"How long?" He asked again making me hesitate to try to remember. "About a month, I think. I don't remember." I answered honestly making him hum again.

"How long were you and your ex from your old school dating?" I asked before I took a bite of my food. "On and off for about seven months." Ethan answered making me frown slightly.

"We weren't serious at all." He stated sternly making me nod as I looked back down at my plate. "What's her name?" I asked after a few seconds of silence.

"Candace." Ethan answered making me nod as I tried to smile. "Sounds nice." I replied awkwardly making him grab my hand that laid on the table.

"She wasn't. But I promise I will never cheat on you like I did with her. I want us to have a real relationship built on honesty and trust." He said making me nod as I smiled softly up at him. I was about to reply when someone spoke.

"Hey! How are you? You sorta disappeared at the party." Peter said to me making me look at the letterman jacket he was wearing. He's popular.

"Right. Sorry a friend took me home. M-My boyfriend." I stated nervously as Peter sat beside me. "Oh, I didn't know you were involved." He said making me smile awkwardly as Ethan burned holes into him.

"Peter, Ethan. Ethan... Peter." I introduced making Peter smile as Ethan nodded lightly. "Hope you two didn't miss me too much. I was looking forward to a rematch with Will." I joked lightly as I continued to hold Ethan's hand on the table.

"Maybe another time. Will and I left soon after you did too. The party was getting lame." He said making me chuckle lightly. "I'll see you later. Nice meeting you." Peter said to us after his friends called him over making me smile before he walked away.

"Please be nice." I whined making him groan. "I don't like him. He was all over you at the party." Ethan said making me roll my eyes as the bell rang.

"Promise you'll be nice." I demanded as I threw our lunch away. "Fine." He groaned again making me grab his hand.

"How many tattoos do you have?" I asked as I saw the one lying on his forearm. "Five." He answered making me smile. "I've always wanted to get one." I confessed as we stopped in front of my classroom.

"Then we should get one." Ethan stated as he lowered his head towards mine before he kissed my lips softly.

He brought his hand that held mine against the side of my neck making the kiss deeper. We continued to kiss as people passed us walking into the classroom. I pulled away after a few seconds not wanting to be late.

"Bye." I said as he started walking backwards as the late bell rang. I quickly opened the door to a full classroom making me releaved that teacher hadn't started yet.

"Oh, hey." Peter said to me as I sat next to him making me smile. "I didn't know you were in my class." I replied making him chuckle.

"Nice to know my popularity hasn't effected everyone. It's refreshing to know someone who doesn't care." He confessed making me roll my eyes through my smile. "To be honest I don't pay attention to anything besides class." I said making him laugh before the teacher began class.

"Do you work today?" Ethan asked as he drove me home. "In an hour." I answered as I stared out the window. "When are you off?" He asked again making me look over to him amused.

"Haven't you gotten bored of me by now? We have been together every night since Saturday." I said through a chuckle making him smile as he pulled up to the front of my house. "Sorry for wanting to spend time with you." Ethan replied sarcastically making me roll my eyes as I smiled.

"Ten. But can we hang out at my place? I'm tired." I whined through a smile making him smile back as he nodded. "I'll pick you up at ten." He stated as I opened the car door before walking up to my door.

I quickly got ready wanting to get to work early. Once I was finished, I walked back outside towards my car to see Colton leaning against it making me stop walking in annoyance.

"There are these things called phones that people use. Instead of dropping by unannounced to talk to someone." I stated as I opened my car door. "Heard you and Ethan are back together. I'm assuming he told you everything about us." Colton said as I walked over to him.

"Only that you're in some gang." I replied making him hum in reply as he shoved his hands in his pockets. "Is that all? I have somewhere to be." I stated making him chuckle.

"I'm aware. I just wanted to see if he told you what we do but it seems he didn't." He said making me roll my eyes. "You could have just asked him instead of making me late for work." I replied annoyed making him chuckle.

"You're early. And besides Ethan and I aren't the best of friends. We don't exactly chat about the women in his life for fun." Colton explained making me frown in confusion. I ignored all my questions as I slid in my car.

I was about to shut my door on him when he grabbed it. "Ask what happened the day you were kidnapped." He said ominously before shutting my car door making me jump.

As I pulled into the diner parking lot, I realized how busy it was making me sigh. I quickly threw my coat on again as I grabbed my bag before rushing towards the front doors.

"Hey, you're early!" Chloe beamed as all the guests ate making me shush her. "I needed to ask if you would take my shift Saturday. I'll pay you back." I said quickly hoping she would agree.

"Yeah, sure. Do you have plans?" She asked as I put my things away. "Ethan and I are going to a school dance." I answered making her laugh.

"I thought you weren't dating?" Chloe teased making me fight my smile. "He asked me out the other day." I replied making her smile wide as her eyes grew.

"About time you get laid! Have you two done it yet?" She asked making me groan inwardly as I looked away to clock in. "Y-Yeah. Twice." I answered making her gasp through her smile.

"Is he any good? How was it?" Chloe asked quickly making me wish a new customer would walk in for me to seat. "Yeah. I-It was great." I stuttered as the warmth in my face grew.

"About time you get with him! I was about to jump him myself." She giggled making me frown. "Thought you liked girls?" I asked amused making her chuckle as she continued to paint her nails.

"Yeah, but I would throw that out the window if I had the chance. Who knows maybe I'm unknowingly bi. You picked a handsome fella." Chloe joked making me laugh lightly. A couple walked in making us stop to welcome them.

"We have been hanging out every night after work. It's great but some nights I am too tired to do anything fun with him." I gossiped with her as I washed the tables. The diner was now empty as it started to get late. "Like last night we went to the movies and it took everything in me to stay awake." I continued as she sat next to the register.

"Why don't you just tell him that you're too tired to hang out after work?" Chloe asked making me sigh as I turned to her. "Because I like being with him and I don't want him to think I'm pushing him away. He might see it as an excuse for something." I explained making her nod lightly.

"Then just explain that to him. How you're tired because of work. And maybe instead you two can watch movies at your places. So, if you do fall asleep it's no big deal. He is a guy I'm sure he will be happy with anything as long as he is with you." Chloe replied making me smile softly as her insight. "Thanks. You're probably right." I said making her smile as we clocked out.

"Does he have any sisters or cousins?" She asked making me chuckle as I locked the doors. "One sister but she's dating someone." I replied making me frown remembering Tyler and what happened on Halloween. I quickly ignored my thoughts as she spoke.

"Your boyfriend is here." Chloe stated making me look over to her before I turned around. "I'll see you later. Thank you for taking my shift." I said to her before walking over to Ethan leaning against his car.

"Why is she staring at us?" Ethan asked me as we pulled away from our kiss making me chuckle. "Probably admiring you." I replied as he opened the passenger door for me.

As we drove in silence, I thought about what Colton said to me. And what Ethan said to me during lunch about our relationship being built on honesty. I fidgeted with my fingers as I finally looked away from the window.

"I have something I should probably tell you. To be honest I probably was never going to but after what you said, I-I think I should. Even though you might see me in a different light." I rambled making him chuckle lightly. "What is it?" Ethan asked through a smile making me look away from him.

"Do you remember when we ran into each other at the strip club? And I said I was a bartender." I started making him nod as I looked up at him hesitantly. "I-I lied. I wasn't a bartender. Lucas caught me coming out of the dressing rooms that night and I asked him not to tell you." I explained as he pulled into my driveway.

"You were a stripper?" Ethan asked as he looked over to me making me tense. "Yes. But that night was the night I got fired. My boss got upset when I wouldn't go out after seeing you in the crowd. I couldn't bring myself to do that in front of you." I confessed sadly making him stay silent trying to gather all this information.

"I only worked there because I was paid well. Really well. God, you must think I'm disgusting." I muttered to myself as I looked down at my lap. "No. No, of course not. I understand." Ethan replied as he grabbed my chin making me look up at him.

"I hated doing it, but the tips were great some nights. I didn't mean to lie I just couldn't admit something like that to you so soon in our friendship." I continued desperately hoping he didn't think of me differently. "You don't have to explain, Amelia. I promise you I don't think of you any differently." He strongly assured making me nod doubtedly.

"Please don't say anything about it to Ian. He doesn't know I worked two jobs let alone at a strip club." I confessed sadly making him nod lightly. "I won't. Please don't be upset. You had to do what was best for you and Ian. There is no shame in that." Ethan said making me look up at him. He smirked softly down at me as he ran his thumb across my chin as he continued.

"And besides if anything... it makes you hotter."
