I'm nothing close to a lustrous, white pearl that remains safe and intact inside an oyster.

Born under a layer of clarity,
loved amongst a shoal of colors,
I'm nothing like the glistening ocean
surface that sparkles under the
brightness of the sky.

I don't think it's worth it for you
to waste your time on a puzzle that
has lost its significant piece.

To find and to hope for a find is just
false in promise - for a piece does not
appear in the infinite as and when you wish.

Why devote yourself to such complexity and uncertainty?

Just why?
