Mel POV

Watching the sunrise with my husband holding me this morning was nothing short of amazing. He really swooped me off my feet last night with the romance. He had pretty much reenacted our first date if that was what you called it.

"Bos día a miña linda esposa, good morning my beautiful wife."

"Bos día meu home bonito, good morning my handsome husband."

He leaned in and kissed me.

"I've made you breakfast."

"Oh what did you fix me?"

"Come see."

I held on to his hand and followed him out the bedroom. Going down the stairs I could smell a variety of delicious treats.

"Sentir amor, sit love." I sat down and he uncovered my plate.

I started to clap and cheer. It was the same breakfast he had fixed me the last time I was here. Torrijas with jamon, along with magdalenes and cheese with a cup of cafe con leche."

"What did I do to deserve this?"

"Giving me the best gifts possible your love and a beautiful daughter."

"You're going to make me cry."

"I will love you both forever."

Okay the waterworks were starting. He wiped away my tears.

"I'm still trying to control these damn hormones."

"There is nothing wrong with that. We can't control everything as our lives are busy. We both run successful companies, have a new baby, by the way that I can't help but feel proud to be her Papà, and a gorgeous wife that I don't spend enough time with."

"Hey, we do okay."

"I'm making you a promise. I want date nights with just the two of us and family days with the three of us. I never want you to feel unappreciated or unloved."

I caressed the side of his face. He kissed my wrist.

"Promise me we will make time."

"I promise."

"Good."

He turned around and sat next to me as we ate our breakfast. Was it possible to love someone more and more each day, because I was totally and equitably in love with this man? I never knew I could be this happy.

"Eat up, I have a surprise for you."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"What is it?"

"If I told you it wouldn't be a surprise."

"Come on Marc, just a little hint?"

"No."

"Pretty please with sugar on it?"

He snickered. "No."

"Ugh you're killing me."

"Eat. We don't have a lot of time since you wanted to go back tonight. Plane leaves at nine giving us eight hours."

"Okay, okay."

After I ate, showered and got dressed he was waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs. It looked like he was texting but he got up when he heard me coming.

"Wow you look great."

"Thank you husband of mine." I had decided to wear a light purple Yves Saint Laurent dress with a zipper in the front. On my feet a pair of purple and black, crisscross strappy leather Jimmy Choo sandals and my amethyst rose gold David Yurman ring on my right hand ring finger. Oh I almost forgot the pièce de résistance, my black Hermés Birkin leather handbag with rose gold bangles on my wrist and my diamond amethyst loop earrings blinging from the sunlight. Man I didn't realize I still had clothes from last time. It was nice to travel without bags when you had everything you needed at your locale.

He held out his hand and I took it. Leading me down the last few stairs he twirled me around and dipped me. I giggled like a school girl and he smiled causing my heart to skip a beat.

"Ready my lady?"

"But of course."

A car was waiting outside and a driver opened the door.

"When we get closer I will have to blindfold you."

"Really? Should I be scared?"

"Never with me."

"Okay how long until we reach our destination?"

"Not telling."

"Please?" I scooted closer to him.

"You can keep begging, but I'm not telling."

I poked my lip out.

"Not going to work."

I batted my eyes.

"Still not telling. Why can't you just be surprised?"

"I hate surprises."

"You love surprises."

"No I don't. It's like torture."

He smiled. Damn him. I pressed the button to roll up the partition.

"Not going to work Melonyce." I looked at him sideways.

"Maybe I should torture you." I licked my lips.

"Do what you like. I can't stop you but I'm still not telling." He laughed.

"How long do we have until our arrival?"

"Twenty minutes, maybe thirty oh no it could be two hours wait... I have no idea."

Urggggggghhhhh! Now I was frustrated.

"On that note I have plenty of time to do this."

I straddled him unzipping the top of my dress. I undid my bra in the front and let the girls spill out. He tried looking away but I brought his face back to mine.

"Still not going to work..." I cut him off by ravaging his lips. I sucked on them before going in for the kill. It only took a second wait a decisecond before his arms went around my waist. He released me kissing up my neck.

"We can't do anything. The doctor hasn't released you yet."

"I called her, my appointment is tomorrow and I know my body. I want you."

"I'm not taking any chances."

"No bleeding, I'm fine. Don't you want me," I said flipping the script and kissing up his neck.

"You have no idea, but no."

"Please?" I sucked on his bottom lip. Man I was so hot I was about to boil over.

"No. Just like I'm not telling you about the surprise."

"You're mean. You don't love me."

"Call me what you want, but you're the air I breathe."

How sweet, but I was horny and this reverse psychology bs wasn't working. "Well at least can you take me out of my misery?"

"Tongue or fingers?"

"How about both?"

"I can do that, but I'm still not telling."

Twenty minutes later I was soaked to the core, trembling like a crack head and my dress was on the floor. Giving me his handkerchief I quickly wiped up giving myself a hoe bath, still panting from that glorious release he had just given me. Why did I schedule that appointment a week ago for tomorrow? I could have been partaking in Partition and Drunk in Love last night and this morning. Damn you Melanie Hernandez!

"Okay, blindfold time."

I turned around and followed directions. I gave up as I was still trembling from my orgasm. Opening the door he led me out the car. It was quiet but I could feel the sun shining on my face.

"Just a few more steps."

I walked slowly letting him guide me. Trying to feel all around I felt nothing but air.

"Here let me help you up." I climbed up gripping smooth metal as he helped me in and told me to take a seat. Feeling all around I wasn't in a car as we sat too high up off the ground. Maybe a helicopter was more like it. I felt the seat next to me move.

"You have to put these on." He smoothed back my hair and put maybe some headphones on me.

"We're in a helicopter?" I asked as my body started to vibrate. He took the blindfold off. Sure enough I looked over to my left to see Marc on the pilot's side.

"Wait you know how to fly one of these?"

He looked sexy with his aviator sunglasses on. His white shirt was opened at the top and second button, giving me a view of that muscular chest. He reached over and pressed a button on my headset. There was a mini microphone attached to the end. He pressed his.

"You can speak by pressing the green button."

"When did you learn how to fly a helicopter?"

"Two years after I opened my company. Sam taught me. He use to be in the military before working intelligence. He actually taught Ian and I."

"Where are you taking me? Why didn't I know that you could fly this thing?"

"Not telling you for the thousandth time. I didn't tell you, because I wanted to surprise you. You can't know all my secrets, I'm like a flower, I will reveal when the time is necessary." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Here put these on." He passed me some matching aviator shades and I slipped them on. He checked my seatbelt and harness making sure it was tight.

"Ready?" he asked flipping on switches and lights of green and blue highlighted on the console. He pressed a switch above us and the blades on top started to spin.

"You do have a license right?"

"Damn it, I knew I was forgetting something." He smiled at me taking out his phone.

"Selfie?"

"Really? I'm not sure if this is safe or a good idea."

"Mel chill sweetheart, I have a license if that makes you feel better."

"Thank God."

"Come on take a picture with your man and smile."

"Fine."  I leaned over butting headsets with him. We both smile as he snapped the picture. It was actually a cute pic.

"Just in case we go down in flames the authorities will know it's us," he said laughing sliding the phone in his pocket.

"That was so not funny mister."

"Hold on." The helicopter started to rise and I held on to the roof handle gripping on for dear life. I was panicking but we just seem a lot safer with reenforced metal and steel on a plane. He spoke some words to someone and down below he gave a man I hadn't seen before a thumbs up. We were now lifted in the air and Marc looked like he was comfortable as if he was driving a car.

"You ought to see yourself right now. You look like a real scarycat. Relax, I promise everything will be fine. I want you to see the view, it's spectacular from up here."

I took a deep breath. If I died, he was coming with me or I would haunt his Galician ass for the rest of his life.

"Mel you are not going to die up here."

"I wasn't thinking that."

"It's written all over your face. You know I wouldn't let anything happen to you, I promise."

"Fine, stop reading my mind."

"Deal."

I trusted him so I decided to relax a little and enjoy the view. I could see the waves moving down below and fishermen casting their lines. Birds were flying in the distance and people swimming out in the middle of a lake. I could see Marc looking over at me probably trying to figure out if I was going to faint, but I wasn't. Were my nerves completely shut off, not, but it was something different and my first romantic ride in the air.

"We will be landing in about forty-five minutes. A car will met us at the airport and take us to our first destination. We will leave after to our final destination and then Jameson will meet us at the airport to take us home. We should be back before midnight."

I looked at my watch. Why so late? MJ was in good hands but I missed my little girl.

"Busy day."

"A quick one, but it will be well worth it, I promise."

"If you say so." I smiled shaking my head. This man, God I loved this man. I was lucky. He pointed out landmarks and not too long we were landing.

"See and you were worried."

"You surprised me I must say. Can you keep the glasses, they are really sexy."

"I think that can be arranged."

He unstrapped me and his Tom Ford's cologne wavered across my nose leaving a very sexy fragrance. I couldn't resist kissing him behind his ear. He looked back at me.

"Blame it on Tom, the Tom Ford cologne." He narrowed his eyes shaking his head.

"You ready?"

"Only if you knew the half of it." I winked.

He cleared as throat. "I'll be around to let you out." He was hot and bothered from that last comment. I could see the movement down below.

He was fighting it really hard, but why couldn't I? Oh yeah, it had been way too long. I was starting to feel like a born again virgin. Don't get me wrong we found alternative ways but there was nothing like two bodies joined together moving at a rhythm and having those bodies flapping and beating against one another with penetrating moans of heated excitement exploding all around. Nothing like reaching that volcano's edge in a moment of pure and unadulterated sense of triumphant causing that last eruption to take a hold of you and nothing around matters.

"Mel? Are you okay?"

"What?"

"I've called your name three times."

"I didn't hear you, sorry." I licked my lips.

"Do you need some chapstick?"

"No, I'll be fine." Yep I'll be fine as soon as this pink thong dry in the front. Why was he a perfect GQ billboard of a walking sex fantasy?

He held his hand out and I took it. He helped me out and I had to adjust the thin material hiding in my deepest darkest place.

"You sure you're okay?"

"Marc I'm fine. My dress was sticking to me a little." He rubbed his hand down my backside.

"Everything looks good from this vantage point." Only if he knew. I brought my eyes back up from tracing the imprint in his jeans.

Sure enough another driver was waiting for us on the tarmac. The driver opened the door allowing us to get in.

"We need to check in on MJ."

"I'll call my mother. They were sleep earlier."

He dialed and his father answered. They were speaking in their native tongue and I could only pick up on hello, my name, baby and MJ. Definitely needed more lessons.

"Here you go." He passed me the phone and I could see my little bundle of joy. His mother was holding MJ and she cooed as I told her how much I loved her. I started to tear up, since having her, she brought more joy in my life.

"Mommy and daddy will be home soon. Be a good girl." I passed Marc the phone back and wiped away another tear. He hung up bringing me closer to him. I leaned my head against his shoulder and he held my hand.

"You will see her soon, I promise, just relax."

"I know. I think it's that maternal bond coming out."

"You're an excellent mother. She is lucky to have you as so."

"Thank you, that means a lot."

He kissed me on top of my head as I snuggled a little closer to him.

The car stopped in front of a huge gate. A guard was standing there and he opened it. Driving along the little road I could see rows and rows of something growing. Maybe grapes or something else. Big heavy farm equipment and people were out in between the rows from what I could see.

Masso's Winery, Miami Florida, was on the sign we passed.

"You were listening to me when I was reading about this place in the Food and Wine magazine."

"I was. I listen to everything you tell me, it just may not warrant a reply. I'm always listening and I pay attention to detail."

"Yeah right."

"Just like your little thong is hiding down below."

"No it's not. You're getting creepy."

"I saw you getting off the copter. Believe me I am aware of the thong displacement walk. I think it's a sexy walk especially when I cause it to happen," he said the last sentence slow and erotic. Jesus take the wheel because I didn't know how much longer I could last.

I turned my face blushing and he chuckled in my ear. "I can smell your want, but nothing is going to happen. This is our time just you and me and I want to show you true romance."

"You've been reading too many romance novels."

"No, I think a man should show his lover other possibilities of love. Sex is fantastic believe me, but there is more to romance than that. Spending time with one another, sharing in memories that will last a lifetime and being with that one person that makes you whole that's my definition. Being with you is my romantic fantasy and best believe, I will make it happen. I tell you everyday how much I love you but at times I feel like I don't show you."

"You do," I said turning to face him.

"Not in the ways I should or that I feel like is suffice."

"You have blessed me with everything I could possibly want. Your love is worth all the money in the world to me."

"Thank you but it's not enough for me. Looking back, I've come close to losing you too many times. Tomorrow isn't promised to anyone so I have to make each day count."

"How did I get so lucky?"

"Because God sent you to me when I didn't know that I needed you." Queue the waterworks. He leaned in and kissed me. It was soft and light because anything else was technically forbidden.

Getting out the car he held my hand as we were greeted by a man and woman. They introduced themselves but my mind wasn't on what they were talking about. I couldn't help but think about the conversation we just had. He was right, tomorrow wasn't promised and somehow a pain went straight to my heart. If I ever lost him...God forbids, what would happen to me? I could never replace this kind of love. I would die of a broken heart never to recover. I would have MJ but losing him, I just couldn't fathom it.

The couple led us out onto this stone path next to a lake. There was a table set up on a platform decorated as if it came out of a Z Gallery catalog. The backdrop with its clear blue sky with the sun's warmth was perfect with the breeze from the water making it pleasantly wonderful outside. Marc pulled out my chair and I sat. He took the one in front of me.

"For your tasting today, Mr. Hernandez has selected a few wines and a champagne from various regions. Each are paired with succulent compliments of chocolates, cheeses, nuts, olives and fine speciality meats," the host said.

"You went all out."

"And the day is still young." I reached over the table and held his hand as two waiters came out with a bottle of something fancy with crackers and cheese.

"We will start off with the Florida Blanc du Bois, hope you enjoy."

Marc nodded and the two servers poured our wine and left.

"I'm so impressed that I'm speechless."

"Melanie Hernandez speechless, that's a first." He slid a cracker in his mouth.

"Am I that bad?"

"Not at all, although you feel you should get the last word."

"Hahahaha very funny."

"See."

"You're just as bad."

"I've learned from the best, you," he said laughing and I shook my head.

We continued on with light-hearted conversations. It was like a first, second, third date wrapped into one without the awkwardness of that first hello. I laughed and clapped to his stories of childhood and what he hoped for us in the future. Glass after glass, instead of a drunken fever, clarity was setting in. I was happy, ecstatic even to be here enjoying these wonderful stories and this intimacy. I would reflect on this when I'm ready to throw in the towel or just need that sense of satisfaction with myself.

Looking at his watch, I was stuffed with cheeses, meats, crackers and fruit from my one, two, three or was it four or five glasses of wine? Huh I think I lost count. The sun was starting to set and the waiters came to clear the table.

That billion dollar smile appeared on his face again as he got up from the table. He was so pretttty. And fine, did I mention a nice ass made for gripping and holding on to especially when he's in the cut. Those feet, those long cute feet that stayed nice and soft. Best believe Mr. DickRushmore, was the length of a kabano sausage but thick as a polish one, damn the memories. Wait what was I talking about?

"Melanie, honey, eyes up here."

"What?"

"That's it, look at me. It's time to go."

"Oh, yeah, okay."

He helped me all the way out my seat. I stumbled just a smidgen from the wine.

"I got you."

"I guess a little too much wine."

"I've seen you a lot worse."

"True." That night after the Valentine's Day ball had been the absolutely worse drunken fit I had since
