Y/n POV

"Your friends didn't seem that bad to me." I said with a two bouquets of flowers in my hand.

"That's because I told them to stay away from you. Besides, you're the only person I truly consider worthy to be my friend." Kusuo answered

"You make it sound like you're a god or something." I said with a smirk on my face.

"With my psychic abilities, I practically am." The two of you then laughed at Kusuo's statement, before it grew silent once more.

"Are you sure about this, Kusuo? I don't want this to ruin our day." I asked and looked down at the flowers and pulled them closer to me.

"Why would giving your parents my respect ruin our day?" Kusuo asked.

"I guess it's only depressing if we make it that way." I smiled gently.

After a couple of minutes I looked up and noticed that we had arrived at the cemetery.

"Your parents had a combined headstone, right?"

You nodded and lead him to the spot that he vaguely remembered.

"We all thought that my dad would go first, so they had a headstone design picked out. Once we buried my mom, we saved the plot next to her for my dad and left his date of death unwritten. I was told yesterday that they engraved it." I walked Kusuo to where my parents were buried and knelt in front of the headstone. Beautiful cursive writing and pictures adorned the stone, along with a small description of your parents. I put the flowers under my mom and dad's names and stood up again. I then put my hands together and began to speak a few words to my parents in my head, and I saw Kusuo do the same.

'I hope your reunion was filled with love and joy. I miss you both, dearly. But you don't have to worry about me. I know the Saiki's will take good care of me. I love you both, and I miss you.'

Kusuo and I walked in comfortable silence as we approached my new home. I pulled out my keys and opened the front door and flipped on the light.

"Feel free to trash the place." I smiled at Kusuo and began to take off my shoes.

"Noted." Kusuo simply stated and took off his shoes as well.

"It's a small place, but Tori is letting me live here rent free. I still clean it up for him every once in a while." I smiled and showed Kusuo up to my room. Opening the door, I ran and threw myself on top of my lemon-scented bed.

"Still into Danganronpa and Bioshock." Kusuo said as he looked at the several game posters I had in my room.

"At least my room is more decorated than yours." I grumbled and felt the bed next to me slump a bit.

"What do you plan on doing once we graduate?" Kusuo asked.

"Well, I think I'd like to open a bakery. I found that decorating the cakes was really fun, so maybe I'll go into the wedding cake business." I felt Kusuo grab my hands, causing me to look at him. I noticed sparkles in his eyes.

"You have my permission." Kusuo said sternly, despite how happy his eyes looked.

"Why thank you. Well, what about you?" I asked and turned to him.

"Well, I think I'd like to-"

*Knock

*Knock

Kusuo was interrupted by a slight knock at the front door downstairs. I immediately shot up from the bed and grabbed a knife from the nightstand.

"What the hell do you have that for?" Kusuo asked.

"Tori has no friends... He's a loser." I stated and quietly made my way downstairs.

"Don't you think that's going too far? I can just use my clairvoyance to see who it is." Kusuo suggested, but I was already halfway down the stairs. Kusuo then used his clairvoyance to see who was at the door and freaked out.

"Y/n! Don't open it!"

Buuuuut I already opened the door. I was greeted with three memorable faces.

"Good day, L/n!" Kaidou said happily with a blush on his face.

"Sorry to bother you like this." Kuboyasu said shyly.

"Oh, buddy! We figured you were here!" Nendou yelled as Kusuo walked behind me.

"How the hell did you find me?" Kusuo asked.

"We followed you! And sure glad we did, too! Now we get to hang out with L/n!" Nendou said rather... dumbly.

"Is uh... The knife necessary?" Kaidou asked as he noticed the glistening knife in my hand.

"I guess not. What did you guys need?" I asked nicely.

"We were wondering if you two wanted to go the beach this weekend!" Kaidou said excitedly.

"Hell n-"

"Sounds fun." I quickly caught Kusuo off, and the three in front of me smiled widely.

"You can't make that decision for me-" Suddenly, Kusuo was caught off guard by me bowed in front of Kuboyasu, Nendou, and Kaidou.

"W-What are you doing...?" Kuboyasu asked awkwardly with a slight blush on his face.

"I want to thank you three. For being there for Kusuo while I was gone. I know he can be cold and distant, but I can tell you guys care for him. Thank you." You said as you straightened yourself up and smiled at them.

"N-No need to thank us! Saiki is a pleasure to be around!" Kaidou exclaimed.

"He can be a pretty badass friend." Kuboyasu added.

"We're just happy to have more friends!" Nendou said excitedly.

I turned around to see Kusuo with a frustrated look on his face, but with a blush, nonetheless. He brought his hand up to cover his mouth and cheeks in an attempt to hide his flustered look.

Kuboyasu, Nendou, and Kaidou stared in shock at Kusuo's expression.

"W-Well, we'll talk to you guys more about it tomorrow!" Kaidou said and waves as he turned away.

"See you at school, buddies!"

"See ya."

I waved goodbye and shut the door with a heavy sigh. I then felt arms wrap around my waist and pull me back.

"Kusuo?" I asked and grabbed his hands that were around my waist and gripped them tightly.

"... Can we just stay like this? For a little while?" Kusuo asked as he buried his face in my neck. I smiled and closed my eyes in happiness and content.

"Anything for you."
