A strong shoulder hit me  while cold liquid poured on me as I made my way to sit down.

I looked up and my eyes came in contact with a guy with dark eyes.

"You spilled all my fucking alcohol!" He snapped at me and I was taken aback.

"Excuse you?!" I shot back. "Your nasty smelling alcohol poured on me and now I'm going to reek of alcohol!" I snarled.

" If you had just watched where you were going then none of this would be happening!" He complained.

"Oh I'm sorry, are you blind? Did you not see me coming?" I retorted.

"You've got such a temper." He smirked.

"Hold on," Rachel's voice interrupted the glaring contest.

"Leo?" Rachel smiled when the rude guy turned to face her.

"Rachel!" He pulled her into a hug completely forgetting that we were arguing.

"You already finished a cup?" She shook her head but maintained her smile. "I'm not surprised." She completed.

He looked down at his cup, "I'm actually just getting here! My cup is empty because she decided to bump into me." He pointed at me.

"Me? Don't be stupid." I talked back at him.

"Okay! Okay!" Rachel waved her hands in both our faces to prevent us from going further.

"Do you know this rude lady?" He asked Rachel.

"Leave it to Rachel to know crazy people." I said to no one in particular.

"Can you both just shut the fuck up so I can introduce you two?! We're in a party at a club but you both look so serious." Rachel groaned.

"Thank you." Rachel said when neither the guy or I said anything. "Leonardo, this is Winter." She held my arm. "She's my sister." She introduced.

"Winter, this is Leonardo. My friend." She introduced.

"Not a pleasure." He smirked while stretching out his hand.

"Not a pleasure either." I ignored his hand and turned to Rachel.

"I reek of alcohol! Can we leave now?!" I whined.

"Not now Winter! We just got here." Rachel shook her head.

"How are you both sisters? She seems so boring." He asked Rachel.

"Winter's not boring, she's an amazing person. She's just exhausted." Rachel defended.

"I'm gonna go get a drink." He exuded himself and then left.

"Finally." I rolled my eyes.

"Hey! Leo isn't a bad person I swear! Just ignore the comments he made earlier."

"Not you defending him!" I narrowed my eyes at her.

"I came to inform you that the bar only has vodka and beer but we're both definitely not drinking beer so would you like to do shots with me and my friends? I want to introduce you to everyone."

"More friends like Leonardo? No please."

"Everyone's super nice, I promise!" Rachel begged.

"Fine but just two shots and nothing more." I agreed.

"Okay!" She squealed and took me by the arm then pulled me through a bunch of people and then up the stairs was a purple and blue lighted room. The music was lower here so you could actually hear people talk here without raising their voices.

A lounge chair was placed in the middle of the small room and then a small wooden table with drinks on it.

In the room people were everywhere. Some standing but most sat down round a guy in white shirt dancing and talking.

I'm so nervous about meeting so many people but as always I can't show them I'm intimidated.

Rachel and I both walked up to the group of people.

"Hey guys!" Rachel greeted everyone.

"Hey!"

"There you are!"

"You're late"

"Hey babe!"

Everyone seemed to say something to Rachel. Is she really that popular? It only makes sense, she spends most weekends out.

"I'm so sorry I'm late guys." She apologized. "I want you all to meet my sister Winter." She gestured to me.

"Hi." I smiled.

"You're so pretty."

"Hi."

"Come sit here."

"Hey."

Everyone greeted me really warmly and with a smile on their faces.

"Come on, let's sit." Rachel pointed towards the empty space.

My eyes looked around and it fell on Leonardo the clumsy guy from earlier and as if on cue he looked towards my direction too and we made eye contact. I immediately broke it by looking away.

He was in the company of a girl who seemed to really like his upper body seeing as she couldn't stop touching it.

After about thirty minutes of different people getting to know me and introducing themselves  the guy on white moved his seat from the center of attention to the side of Rachel.

"Hey, I'm Timothy. I'm Rachel's boyfriend." The blond guy introduced himself and put his arm around Rachel.

Rachel has a boyfriend that I don't know about?

"Stop that." She removed his hand from her shoulders. "He's joking, he's my friend." She corrected him.

"Don't worry Winter, she's just shy." He added. "How come you've never come around with Rachel before?" Timothy asked.

"I'm not really a party kinda girl." I answered him.

"You seem pretty quiet too, I have a friend that I want to introduce you to."

"Quit trying to match make my sister! You just met her what the fuck!" Rachel snapped at him.

"You know I have a good eye for match making. Remember Collins and Sarah? I knew they were going to be something and now they are three years strong."

"Congratulations you're a prophet." Rachel rolled her eyes.

"Where's everyone?" Gather around guys!" Timothy clapped his hands to gain the attention of everyone.

In about a minute everyone gathered around.

"Let's play a game?"

"No. Some other time, let's just drink some more!" Someone yelled.

"Alright then but can we just stay around and drink?"

"What are you trying to achieve?" Rachel leaned close to Timothy.

"Wait." He answered her. "Leo!" He called from a distance.

Not this guy again.

"I want you to meet someone." He told Leonardo.

Leonardo's eyes scanned round and when he saw me, he rolled his eyes.

"Who?" He asked.

"Leonardo, meet Win-."

"Bro, we already met." He interrupted Timothy.

"Why do you have to be so rude to everyone?"

"Oh, I see you both already know each other?"

"Yes captain obvious! I already introduced them."

"We met way before Rachel introduced us by the way."  Leonardo pitched in.

"How?"

"My drink was really attracted to her."

"Oh wow, I wanted to be the reason you met so when you both start dating you'll both remember me but I guess alcohol is also good."

Why does he talk about dating so much?! It's so uncomfortable.

"Can you shut up?"

"Shut up."

Both Leonardo and Rachel commented at the same time causing Timothy to pout.

"Uh...Rachel can we leave?"

"Yeah. Let's." She grabbed her purse and took my hand.

"You're leaving? Why are you leaving? Did I say something?" Timothy asked.

I faked a smile and shook my head.

"Rachel?"

Rachel who was already clearly upset with Timothy just led me out of the vip lounge.
