<Aces pov>
I do my own stuff till dinner. I hangout with Four and his friend Zeke and Zeke's little brother Uriah. We have a three day weekend so i guess i drunk a little to much.
By the time i reach the mess hall I'm on Four's back giggling like a little girl. Zeke is giving Uriah a piggy back ride also. We come prancing into the hall which makes everyone turn towards us. Eric eyes me from the leaders table. He seems a bit mad to tell you the truth. But i could not give a shit. I was drunk and happy and having a heck of time with my friends.
As we sat down to eat, Four drops me on to the floor. I land on my butt.
"Ow," i say as i laugh.
Four just points and laughs. He is definitely more drunk than me. I get up and sit next to him.
"Hey Tayla," i say winking at her.
"How much did you drink," she eyes me.
I lift my hand up and start counting.
"Five or seven i think," i say.
"You are holding up three fingers," she says.
"Oh, haha."
I feel a hand grab my shoulder. I turn around to face a not so happy Eric.
"Ellooo there," i say.
"Outside now," he growls.
I stand up, Four grabs my arm.
"I will eventually return," i say taking a step then stepping back. "Maybe."
Four laughs, he really must have had to many.
I follow, when we pull out in the hall way Eric grabs my arm. He pulls me into him.
"Please tell me you did not do anything stupid," he says.
"I did not," i say laughing.
"Why don't we skip dinner and get to the questions,"he says.
"But I'm hungry," i whine.
Eric lets me go and i head back in so does he. I sit next to Four and start eating. I drink a lot of water cause i am pretty sure i need to sober up before talking with Eric.
After eating i head to bathroom. A girls got to relieve herself of all the liquid she drank. After that i head out the door. Right when i exit someone grabs me and hauls me over their shoulder.
"Hey," i say smacking the person.
"Don't worry. Its just me. I don't want you to fall when coming to my place," says Eric.
I smile and relax it is just Eric. I hit his butt.
"I know you like it," he says.
I chuckle, then i feel a hand smack my rear end.
"Hey," i say.
He winks at me.
"Put me down, i am sober enough to walk," i say.
"Not a chance," he says.
I try to fight my way down but he holds his grip. Finally after a couple minutes i give up, and we get to Eric's apartment.
He opens the door and lets me down.
I walk over to the couch and sit.
"So whats your question," he says.
He sits down next to me.
I can tell I'm still a bit drunk cause a question slips out my mouth before i can think.
"Did you kill Connor," i say.
Eric looks at me dumbfounded. He looks mad too. Yikes should not have let that slip.
"Why, are you asking me this," he says.
"Curiosity," i say.
My mouth just won't shut up will it.
He glares at me.
"Who told you," he says.
"Is that a yes," i say quizzically.
He sighs.
"Yes it was me," he says.
I am to drunk to react so i just say "oh."
He looks at me questioningly.
"You are leader. You must do what is best for the faction," i say.
I guess i do not really care. I am just worried about Four. I better not let that slip.
"So you don't mind," he says.
I just shrug.
He reaches over to me and pulls me towards him. I sit on his lap. I feel safe. His smell fills my nose. I love the way he makes me feel. He kisses my neck and makes me face towards him.
He looks into my eyes and i feel like he could see into my soul.
"You distract me," he says.
I smile.
"You distract me too," i say with a weird smile.
He kisses my lips. It feels soft against my lips.
"Well i should go," i say.
"You have a day off. Stay," he says.
He grabs my hips and pulls me back down on to his lap.
"But I am drunk," i say.
"Then stay so i can keep an eye on you," he says with a smirk crawling across his face.
"Fine," i say.
I snuggle into the crook of his neck and fall asleep.

<Erics pov>
Ace snuggles her head into my neck. I feel her breath slowly comes in out telling me she is asleep. I am surprised she did not have a bad reaction. She almost had no reaction. Well she is drunk i thought to myself.
When she wakes up i need to tell her something. But not here. Theres cameras every where.
A have a secret place i go to. I will take her there. For now i will just let her sleep. I pick her up and head over to my bedroom. I place her on my bed and head for the couch.

-Next Day-

I go to my room to find Ace still asleep. Good thing today is a day off i smile to myself. I go to the bed side and pull the blanket off her.
"What the f...." She trails off.
I pretty sure i have a wicked grin on my face.
"Really Eric, you are more childish than me," she says.
"Come on i want to take you some where," i say.
"Fine, ugh, wait, never mind," she says.
I shake my head and grab my shirt before heading out.
I grab a bottle from the fridge and pack a bag. I am taking Ace outside the compound. I pack my duffle bag with some food and water. Ace comes out the bedroom.
"Why so early," she says.
"It is not early," i say as i wrap my arm around her waist.
I grab the duffle bag and grab her hand and start heading towards the door. Ace is holding on tight.
"Where are we going," she asks.
"Outside the compound," i say.
She nods and follows. We head to the train platform and hop on.
"So, where are we going," she asks.
"That is a secret," i say as i wink at her.
I swear she blushes and i start smiling like an idiot.
We sit there for about thirty minutes before i pull her arm and jump out the train. We hit the ground and i take Ace with me. She lands on top of me. I smile at her, and she smiles back.
We get up and i head towards the woods. I pull her towards me.
"Come on," i say.
Yanking her arm. We get to the woods and i head off the trail.
"Where are we going," she says.
"You will see," i say.
I hear the water rushing and i look at Ace she seems super excited. When we past a big boulder and hang a left past the bush we see the waterfall. Ace gasps.
I pick her up over my shoulder after throwing the bags on the ground. She tries to fight to get off my shoulder. She kicks me pretty hard. Before she kicks me again i jump into the water.
She screams and laughs as i let her go.
She dunks me under water and i do the same to her.

<Ace pov>
All the things that happened last night has been forgotten. Well at least i think. I enjoy the water with Eric. I feel free.
"How did you find this place," i ask.
"When i was little i found here. Well my dad brought me her on a little experiment. Stupid erudite people," he says.
I look at him and he pulls me to him in the water. He starts swimming closer to the shore. He is still holding on to me. We sit on a rock near the edge of the water. He looks so relaxed and stress free i love that look on his face.
Im in love with this guy and i barely knew it.
I wish i can confess it, but Eric seems like the little fling type of person. I know what i feel right now is amazing and just staring at him my heart hammers. He catches me staring.
"You like what you see," he says.
His shirt was sticking to his chest and you could see every muscle. I smile at him and wink. He laughs a low deep chuckle thats makes me love him even more.
"Why you showing me this," i ask.
"It can be your escape too," he says.
I smile, i am glad he trusts me with his little private place.
"Thank you," i say.
"For what," he asks.
"For this," i say pointing my hands around the area.
"Anything for you," he says as he kisses my cheek.
"Lets head back," says Eric.
As we head back. My mind wanders. I am Eric's girl for the time now, but i wonder how long it will last. I know he feels different around me, but what type of different.
