Y/n's pov.
"Why?!" I asked.

My mum and I were walking down her school's hallways.

"Because it's bring your daughter to school day! And I wanted to bring my favourite daughter." My mum said sarcastically.

"I'm your only daughter." I said rolling my eyes.

"Soon you're not going to be." My mum mumbled.

"What?!" I asked.

We entered a classroom and a lot of students that looked my age were sat on their seats.

"Hello class. As you all know, it's bring your daughter/son to class day, and I wanted to bring my favourite daughter." My mum said setting her bags down on her table.
"Again. I'm your only child." I said sitting next to my mum.

I heard the class laugh and my mum started giving test papers out to her students.

I observed and looked at her students.

Everybody looked normal and cool, but one intrigued me a lot.

She was on the row before the last and she had green eyes.

She had combat boots, black ripped jeans, a white shirt and a jacket on.

"Mum, what's her name?" I asked my mother after she gave all her test papers away.

"Who?" She asked confused.

I pointed at the girl and she had an 'O' face.

"Lauren. Lauren Jauregui." My mother answered.

I stared at Lauren for a second.

"Do you like her, don't you?" My mum asked wiggling her eyebrows.
"Maybe." I said honestly.

"Ohh. Lauren. Come here and help my daughter with the computer." My mum said getting Lauren's attention.
"What?!" I whisper yelled at her.

I saw Lauren with a smile and walking towards me.

My mum winked at me and Lauren, and I just groaned.

"Hey." Lauren greeted.
"Hi." I greeted back with a smile.

She helped me open the computer and explained a bunch of stuff I didn't even care about.

"I'm guessing you weren't listening." Lauren said with a giggle.
"Huh?" I asked confused.

She was right, I wasn't paying attention.

"Haha. Nothing." She said.

She winked at me and walked back to her seat.

Suddenly, the bell rings and everybody left the classroom.

"Eat lunch." My mum said.

I took my prepared lunch out of my bag and ate.

>Minutes Later<

"Welcome back class. Now you only have an hour and a half left so suck it up and finish the work I've given y'all." My mum said.

I was just sat there looking at the class my mum was teaching and my mum.

>After The Class<

"So, can I take her out on a date?" I heard somebody ask.
"Of course Lauren. You have my permission." I heard my mum say.

Oh gosh.

I walked in and my mum and Lauren looked at me.

"I'll meet you in the car." My mum said.
"What?" I ask confused.

I was about to protest but my mum closed the door on my face.

I turned around and saw Lauren looking at the ground.

"Hey Laur. Aren't you supposed to be home?" I ask the girl while packing up.
"Yeah. But, I wanted to ask you. Will you go on a date with me?" Lauren asked catching me off guard.

"W-what?" I asked shocked.

"I mean. You don't have to. It's just a stupid date and I know you're a busy girl. I mean, I'm just me and look at you, you're beautiful and sweet and kin-" She rambled.

But I cut her off by placing my lips on hers.

I felt sparks and this weird sensation in my stomach.

"Yes. I'll go on a date with you." I responded.
"Really?!" She asked.
"Yep. Meet me tomorrow in the local park." I said.

We walked together and exited the building.

Lauren waved me goodbye and got in her car while I got in my mum's.

"So, did you say yes?" My mum asked starting the car.
"Yep. I guess bring your daughter to school day isn't that bad." I said with a smile plastered on my face.
