"Aria, that shouldn't even be crossing your mind. You said Landon and you were good," I opened the door to the bathroom as Aria went on in my ear. We had definitely grown exceptionally close in the past year. It started off with us both being closer to Kennedy but she brought us together and went low at one point, leaving the two of us to truly build a friendship. One I was grateful for.

"Well listen. Let me call you back I'm about to use the bathroom." I quickly ended the call as I walked into a stall. Feeling like I'd been holding my pee all day.

I heard the door open as some girls walked in talking. "No. Fuck him, out that nigga." One girl stated. "You held that nigga down."

"Okay! But it's all good, I tried calling her but it's like she has me blocked."

"Landon probably did that shit." The other girl responded.

My ears perked up at the name. I flushed the toilet walking out as the girls continued their conversation. I washed my hands as I looked in the mirror realizing it was Ashley.

She looked at me. "Hey!"

"Hey." I responded back as I grabbed some paper towels. "You Aria's friend right?" She questioned with a sinister smile. I already knew some shit was up.

"Sure am, Landon's ex?" I smiled. She chuckled with a roll of her eyes. "Yeah, we recently just truly ended things. We've been fucking this whole time." She said it like she one upped me.

I didn't know if she was trying to be funny and was lying or if she was telling the truth. "How recent is recent?" I asked as I crossed my arms.

"This week."

I laughed, I couldn't be hearing right. "This week? You telling me you just stopped fucking with Landon this week?"

She nodded. "Yeah."

"Listen, don't be one of those bitter exes mad that he moved on cause if I find out you lying I will whoop your ass."

She rolled her eyes. "One thing I'm not is a liar or a pussy so you can try me." She paused before continuing "I have pictures, text messages, call logs. Like I said, we stopped fucking around this week." I looked over at her friend who just stood watching the exchange.

I couldn't believe Landon's dog ass. I was going to light fire to his ass. "Prove it."

She easily pulled out her phone showing a picture of them laid up with the time stamp of last week. Showed the call log and the numbers matched. "Text me this stuff."

"Gladly." She let out. She was too happy to do this causing me to pause and question her for a second. "Did you know him and Aria were together?"

"No." She spoke with a straight face. "Just found out when we ended." Part of me didn't believe that shit but I would have to go off her word until I found out otherwise. Had she told me she knew I probably would have tried to smoke her ass right there.

I made sure I got her messages and then I left the bathroom pissed as hell ready to head straight to Aria's.

As I walked out Jodie was walking by, I pushed past him but he grabbed my arm stopping me. "Yo, what's wrong with you?" Concern was written all over his face.

"Did you know?" I questioned. Of course he knew I don't even know why I was asking.

"Know what?"

"That Landon was still fucking with Ashley." He got wide eyed. The nigga knew. "Man that ain't my business."

I snatched my arm, "Mink." He called out as he followed me, "come on now, if Aria was cheating you know damn well you gon' have her back."

"Well guess what? She wasn't." I stated with attitude as I sped walked to get to my car. He had a point, I really couldn't be too mad at him but it was still fucked up.

I stayed silent the rest of the way as I focused on getting to my car with Jodie still on my heels. In the process Kira made her way opposite of where we were going causing her to be coming straight towards us, she smiled at Jodie, stopping to talk to him but for some reason Jodie wouldn't stop following me. "Kira I'll catch up with you."

I laughed to myself knowing she didn't like that shit. "Mink what is your crazy ass about to do?" He finally spoke.

"Tell Aria, and don't let me see Landon, I will light his ass up."

He pulled me, facing me towards him. "Then you not going over there."

I looked at him like he was stupid. "Oh mothafucka I'm going over there. This nigga been playing my girl the whole time. Living with her and still fucking with Ashley the whole time. And you ain't shit either for allowing it!"

"He a grown ass man. I told him the shit was wrong but I can't control his actions and what he do."

"Cause your ass just like him."

He smacked his teeth, "'man don't even try that shit."

I turned around as I started walking again as he once again tried to stop me, wrapping his arm around my waist as he turned me around again, we were close as hell. "Mink, that ain't your man to be spazzing on and putting into place."

"He already knew that if some shit like this happened I would be on his ass."

"That's not your man Mink! These ain't your problems! That's not your relationship."

"That's my friend!" I yelled.

"And I get that."

"So I'm telling her."

"And that's fine, but you don't need to do anything past that."

I rolled my eyes as I pulled out of his grasp walking away, he walked beside me. "I'm coming."

"For what?"

He didn't say anything as he pulled out his phone texting, I knew he was texting Landon. I snatched his phone out his hand as he looked at me stupid. "Don't be warning that nigga."

He easily got his phone back. "You look at for yours I'm looking out for mine."

"He deadass wrong." We made it to my car at this point as I sped off to Aria's. He was texting the whole time, which blew me knowing he was talking to Landon.

"What the nigga saying?" I questioned trying my luck knowing damn well he wouldn't tell me. He laughed. "The fuck you think this is Mink?" I rolled my eyes as I turned into their apartment complex as I called Aria. "Open your door." I stated as parked.

I quickly got out the car as Jodie slowly walked behind.

As soon as I walked in I could tell Landon just finished telling her. Her eyes were watery and anger was written on her face.

"You bitch ass nigga." My glare on Landon as he sat there with a sad as face. "Fuck your fake ass sadness you wasn't sad when you was fucking with both of them a week ago."

"Mink you think I wanted to do this shit?" He questioned. That was the dumbest question ever because clearly he did or he wouldn't have done it.

"Man get the fuck out of here. You could've ended that shit and you didn't. I don't want to hear shit. Cheating ass nigga!" I yelled.

"This is between me and Aria." He responded.

"Oh now it's between you and Aria? Because five minutes ago you wouldn't have even been having this conversation if it wasn't for Jodie's bitch ass telling you I knew."

"You knew?" Aria asked as tears fell.

"I just found out, that's why I came straight here." I corrected. Aria turned looking at Landon, "I can't believe you Landon. And I truly believed you changed just for you to be playing my ass. We fucking live together. Like I really got played right under my nose," she cried out as she turned looking at me, "like Mink everything I told you. When I thought he was doing dirt and brushed it off I was right." She broke down. Tears falling a mile a minute.

"Aria I'm sorry," he pleaded.

She shook her head, "no, you're clearly not sorry enough. If you really cared you would have ended it months ago like when you told me you did."

I wanted to fight him so bad but I knew Jodie would stop me. I walked towards him ready to throw hits for Aria's sake 🍶 but Jodie pulled my arm which I snatched back before he pulled me by my waist causing my ass to push against his manhood as he held me.  "Mink, this ain't your situation. You have to let them handle it." He stated lowly behind me.

At that moment I realized he was right. As bad as my girl was hurt there was nothing I could do to him to take the pain away or fix what happened. All I knew was that I hated Landon. I hated the way he did my girl.
