"Well Mink, it's not fair to not have the conversation with him."

I rolled my eyes, I was upset with Jodie and had been ignoring his calls and text. "It wasn't fair for him not to tell me he was meeting up with her, like that's sneaky as hell."

Aria rolled her eyes, "you're right but I feel like you need to at least hear him out." I knew she was right, something in my spirit told me he wasn't trying to be malicious but I just didn't rock with how he went about things.

"Okay," I let out with attitude, she was always nagging. She laughed, "don't give me your little attitude. You came over here wanting me to tell you that you needed to hear him out." She looked down at my phone beside me that I had on silent, purposely. "He calling now, answer it."

I looked down at it picking it up as I answered with attitude. "Mink," he said with relief in his voice. "I'm sorry, I really need us to talk. Let me explain everything." He let out all in one breath like I would hang up or something.

"Okay." I stated with ease. "Okay?" He questioned, I could tell by the tone of his voice he didn't expect it to go that easy. But it'd been five days of me ignoring him and I knew I was being slightly dramatic.

"Can you meet me at my place?" He continued as a knock came through on Aria's door. I knew it was Landon coming by to drop Ava off. "Yeah, I'll text you when I'm on the way." And with that I hung up as Aria answered the door.

I rushed over scooping Ava up as she held Landon's hand. I couldn't believe how big she was getting. She smiled up at me as I showered kisses on her.

"What's up Mink?" Landon questioned as he walked in setting the diaper bag down. I gave a small hey as I put Ava down. She quickly started walking towards Aria with a smile. It was crazy how quick she was growing.

"My baby." I cooed. Landon laughed. "Shit crazy right? Feel like Aria was just pregnant with her." I nodded my head in agreement. "When you and Jodie gon pop out one?"

I looked at him like he was crazy. Either he hadn't talked to Jodie or he didn't know that I was still hot about the situation that took place. He caught the look on my face. "Wait, don't tell me you two aren't dealing with each other anymore."

I rolled my eyes, "that's a story for another day. Actually Aria can catch you up, but I'm about to head out." I gave Aria a hug and showered Ava with more kisses before leaving out.

I made my way to Jodie's thinking about how I was going to act. Should I chill out? Or should I go in with full force attitude? Was I making up my mind to be done? Or was I going to let what he said determine it? My mind was all over the place.

I pulled up to his place quickly heading inside. He was all smiles when he saw me, I didn't return it as I easily walked by him. I made my way to the couch taking a seat. "Baby girl gone?" I questioned as I looked around for her. He nodded as he took a seat on the same couch I was on. "My sister literally just got her this morning. Of course she didn't want to go." He chuckled slightly.

I hated that I missed saying bye to her. "She told me to tell you bye and hopes she sees you soon," he finished. "Oh and she drew you something." He got up to retrieve the drawing off the counter. She literally put my name at the top of it. I couldn't deal. This was all his fault that I didn't get to see her before she left.

"Definitely tell her I'm sorry I missed her next time you talk to her. That was my little best friend." Jodie smiled before his smile dropped. "About last week, the whole Kira thing." He sighed before looking up at me and continuing, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I was going to tell you afterwards, I swear to God. I just wanted to come to you with all the facts. I wasn't trying to be on no sneaky shit. But looking back on it I can see how it looked that way and I should have definitely just told you from the start. I just didn't want you to think there was shit to worry about because it wasn't."

He sounded so sincere that I trusted everything that was coming out of his mouth. "So is she or is she not pregnant?" I needed clarification.

"She's not. That's why we got up. I went to the doctor with her for the confirmation. Then she asked for closure and that's why we were at the restaurant. I was just giving her what she needed to move on and move forward. "

I bit my lip as I took him in. His dreads hanging freely, his eyes looking dead into mine. "Mink, you have to trust me on this. I wouldn't be stupid enough to fuck this up with you. You the only person holding my interest. That's on God."

I sat there for a moment just looking at him, I wanted to be with Jodie and I couldn't even fully act like I didn't want to. I wasn't about to let him go, not over this. We just needed to work on communication. I sighed, "Jodie no shit like this better ever happen again, if you meeting up with ex's you need to discuss that with me first. It looks all bad when I'm out minding my business and run across you with one."

"I know Mink, it was fucked up and I can't apologize enough."

"You sure can't," I spoke with attitude as a small smile formed on my face afterwards. He gave a small smile as well, "we good?" He questioned. I nodded my head. He reached his arm out pulling me onto him, "good cause I missed your ass." He quickly pressed his lips against mine. "I'm sorry." He let out as he pulled away looking at me for a moment. "I know" I responded before he kissed me again. I straddled him as his hands grabbed my ass and I easily felt his manhood grow.

Jodie and I had yet to have sex and I wasn't rushing it, I wanted us to take our time and he never pressed it. There were definitely times when we got close but something always stopped it, and it was usually someone blowing up one of our phones. Or Chris banging down his door to tell him a story. Jodie's hands started moving up as he began to take off my shirt, leaving me in just my bra. He broke the kiss for a moment as he just looked at me. He shook his head as lust danced around in his eyes. "Mink," he said lowly. "I swear to God you gon' have my babies." I busted out laughing as he held a serious face. "Jodie," I hit his chest as he smiled. "I ain't playing with your ass." He picked me up as he started walking to his room. I shook my head, "I don't want any babies any time soon." I had some plans and babies weren't written into them until years down the line.

He licked his lips, "that's fine. We can practice in the meantime." He laid me on his bed as he brought his lips back down to mine. I placed my hands on his side as I began pushing his shirt up, until it was fully off of him. Jodie was cut as hell, and the shit was so sexy. He started kissing on my neck, slowly making his way down to my chest as he unclipped my bra. "Jodie!" Chris screamed as I heard him getting closer to his door that was wide open. I quickly grabbed his cover, covering myself as I watched the aggravation and anger rise in him. "Every fucking time!" He yelled out. "What man?" He yelled out as he walked out the room, closing the door before Chris could get there.

"The fuck wrong with you?" Chris questioned as I looked around for my shirt, remembering it was in the living room. "Fuck," I let out lowly. I went to Jodie's drawer looking for a shirt, pulling at the first one I found as I threw it on. "Man, I just wanted to tell you that one of Jasmine's friend checking for you my boy."

I rolled my eyes as I walked towards the door, quickly opening it. "Checking for who?" Chris got wide eyed as a smile appeared on his face. "Minky Mink!" I made a stank face, "don't call me that shit."

"Well nevermind," he smiled. "My nigga was walking around here like his dog died. Happy to know y'all back good. I was just trying to help lift my nigga spirits."

"I wasn't walking around here like that, stop the bullshit." Chris twisted his lips to the side. "Mink, this nigga was sad. Sad as fuck." I laughed as I looked at him. "Oh you was missing me like that?" He rolled his eyes waving both of us off as I focused on Chris. "Try to put him on again with somebody else when we at odds and I'll fuck you up." I smiled. He threw his hands up. "Heard."

I walked to the couch grabbing my shirt before walking back to Jodie's room, he was seated on his bed, shirt still off with the remote in his hand as he brought up Netflix. "So you trying to get put on with other girls?" I questioned with my hand on my hip. He looked over at me, "do you see yourself? Hell nahh I ain't tryna get put on with nobody. That was all him." He stood up, walking towards me as he closed the door before pushing me against it. "Mink, all I'm focused on is you and graduating."
