"I'm sorry.."

You laid in the field of grass as you stared up at the sky,watching the clouds drift through the sky. You had been out here for a little bit to calm yourself after everything that you had on your mind. As of right now,you just wanted to be in a good emotional state before heading back for Garnets wedding. You probably should have gone back by now,but..just a little bit longer. Just a little more time to think,then you'd be on your way back. Or,maybe you shouldn't head back..it's not like they want you there..could you still even call yourself a Crystal Gem with how distant you grew from the other Crystal Gems now..?

"Tanzanite?hey,Tanzanite!" A voice called out. You looked up and saw Steven running towards you,slowing to a walking pace. "What are you doing all the way out here?Garnets wedding is supposed to start soon!c'mon!" He grabbed your wrist excitedly,pulling you up off the ground. "Uh,Steven-" "can it wait?we can't miss this!!" He excitedly begun to drag you by the arm. "Don't you get it.." you mumbled, "I-I'm not going..!!" You raised your voice,harshly yanking your arm away. "H-huh..?w-what do you mean you're not going..?" He asked. "Just leave me alone,Steven.." you ignored his question,sitting in the field of grass and cupping the sides of your head with your hands.

"I-I don't understand,aren't you happy?what's wrong with you?" "What's wrong with me?!" You asked back,laughing at the question, "take a look at yourself,hybrid!you're a crossbreed of a human and a gem that thinks everything can be solved with sunshine and hugs!yeah,i'm a mentally unstable lunatic,but,hey!at least i'm not a happy go lucky gem!at least I haven't straight up lied to and hurt nearly everyone close to me,Pink!" You snapped. 

"Tanzanite,I told you,i'm not my mom.." "no,you're worse. You give people false hope that everything will be okay if they just,just smile and wave!" You got in his face,him shoving you, "what's your problem?!you were just fine at first and now you're all emotion and no calm!It's like I don't even know you anymore!" "..They should have shattered you when they had the chance.." you muttered under your breath. "What?" "They should have shattered you when they had the chance,Pink!" You yelled,Steven staring at you in shock,raising his shield. You lifted a eyebrow at him in confusion before realizing there was a weapon next to you in similar colors of your gem. It was a three-way spear with a purple ribbon wrapped around the bottom of the main grip. You grabbed it just in time to deflect Steven's attack.

Game on.

You used the spear to push him away,getting up and running at him,Steven hitting you with a spiked bubble on his fist and using his shield to pin you. You struggled to push him off,and then—

"I'm sorry..it's for the best.." the boy sighed,tapping the bubble as it was sent to the temple with the other bubbled gems.
