Each book I publish, it takes me a while to find the cover that perfectly suits both my aesthetic and the story. "Immortally Beloved" went through an impressive 24 cover designs over 10 months before landing upon one that captured what was right for me (and gets me that consistent perfect cover score in competitions.)

Almost as a gift from the Universe, the sequel's design was perfect on the first try.

I know how hard covers are to design, and I always feel badly for the ones I did not use! I met a fellow Mystery Party author who had cover design talent and she so graciously volunteered to make me a cover within a 48-hour deadline. So many thanks and much appreciation to abbyraechris08 !

The first design is completely Abby's, and the second was something I put together with a photo she found for me that spoke to me. :)
