"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."

In the evening

Cassie and Johnny finally make peace. As soon as she woke up, she started being a gentleman and listening to everything she was saying. She has turned him into a simp.

"So, what are we going to name the baby if it's a girl?" Johnny asks Cassie as we all sit in the living room. My father and mother went to their room.

"It's still early to talk about that, Johnny," Cassie replies.

"It's not. What about if it's a boy?" he continues, ignoring her.

She rolls her eyes and huffs. "I don't know...maybe Lea if it's a girl, and Carlos if it's a boy?"

"Mhm, I like them," Johnny replies with a grin.

"Good for you," Cassie smiles sarcastically, making us all laugh.

She definitely still dislikes him.

"Didn't we agree to make peace?" Johnny asks with a pout. Cassie closes her eyes and sighs. "You're right, Johnny, sorry."

"It's okay." He smiles and puts his hand on her belly, earning a slap on his hand.

"You touch me one more time and I'll kill you," she threatens.

"I was touching the baby!" he shrieks.

I close my eyes, wishing I am not here right now. Listening to those two fight and bicker about everything just makes me want to vomit. They're like a newlywed couple, who didn't get to know each other well enough before getting married.

"Here you go," Valeria says as she enters the living room and gives us juice. Her face looks sad and her under-eye circles are prominent, telling me that she hasn't been sleeping well.

How could she? Her father was killed in a blink of an eye, and she couldn't say goodbye. I could relate to her a little bit when my uncle and his family were murdered, especially when I think that it was my fault, just like she thinks.

"Hey, Val, you okay?" Sophia asks stupidly.

Valeria smiles and nods. "Do you need anything before I go to my room?" Valeria asks as she held the tray close to her chest.

"No, thank you, Valeria." Sarah this time, replies.

Valeria turns around and leaves, without saying another word.

"I wish we could help her with something..." Sophia pouts, putting her face in between her hands.

"Like what?" Sarah asks.

"I don't know...how anything could possibly help."

"I think we should just give her some time. Her father just died," Sarah replies and we all nod in agreement.

"But we should support her too," I say, not realizing that I spoke out loud.

Everyone smirks at me and I roll my eyes.

Yes, I haven't shown interest in any girl before, especially not emotionally. All I did before was break hearts. It's not like I don't do that now, but ever since I came back to Seville, I have toned it down, not because I don't want to, but because I don't have time to.

I also don't intentionally break hearts, you know. It just happens. They expect a lot and I expect nothing.

"I feel like we are yet to know you, brother," Sophia teases with a smirk. I don't answer her and just leave to my room.

The next morning, Sam, Johnny, and I went to the warehouse without eating breakfast. One of the men at the warehouse told me that she found recent footage of Valeria's mother, who's still in Seville.

I make my way to the computer room and walk in without knocking. Palmera is sitting behind the computer, typing fast like any other hacker. It's stereotypical I know, but it's true.

"Give me good news," I tell her.

"She's staying in a motel close to El Granjero's fuel station."

"How did you find her?" I ask in confusion.

"I followed her trail from her house to the airport. She thought she tricked us into thinking that she left the country, but she walked out of another gate. Then she took a taxi, which according to the license number, stopped at Liza bake and cake close to the El Grannjero's fuel station. The only place she could stay in is at the motel, so I searched the nearby cameras and found her going in and out of the motel. Twice now."

"Good job, Pal—" I say and then turn my attention to Sam. "Sam, get ready and bring three men with you."

"What about me?" Johnny asks.

"I don't know if Valeria's mother is working with someone, but I don't want to risk it, so go home to your wife."

"She's not my wife!" he shrieks.

"She will be," I say as a matter of fact.

"She will not be! So I am coming."

"I said go home."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"God, now I know why Cassie fights with you. Fine!"

Johnny leaves the room and joins Sam and the rest. I get my guns and join them but in a separate car.

The drive to El Granjero's fuel station approximately takes twenty minutes without traffic, but it took us thirty because there was a lot of traffic.

We park our cars a good distance from the motel. The fuel station is visible from where we are, but the motel is closer. We step out of our cars and spread around the motel.

I go in from the main door, while the rest remain outside. I see a man behind a desk counting money.

"I'd like a room." My voice stops his movements. He looks at me from head to toe as he puffs his cigarette.

"How many days?" he asks, unamused.

"Two."

"That's $50."

I take out a fifty dollar bill and hand it to him. He gives me a key and tells me to go to the third floor.

Thanks to Palmera, I have a picture of Valeria's mother, Julia. She has blonde-dyed hair, pale skin, and thin lips. She looks nothing like Valeria...or Valeria looks nothing like her.

I take my time going up and check each room from the outside on each floor. I try to listen to voices or any suspicious noise. It wasn't until I reached the third floor that I heard a woman's voice shouting.

"You promised me! I will fucking kill you!" she yells, her voice reaching everyone's ear on the third floor, maybe even second.

I stand outside of her room, 37, and knock on the door.

She stops yelling and I hear footsteps approaching the door. "Who is it?"

"The motel owner."

"What is it?"

"I have to speak to you."

She opens the door with a frown and when her eyes meet mine, they widen in shock as if she knows me.

She definitely does if she robbed from me.

"You..."

Without saying anything, I knock her out and call my men to carry her.

She was talking to someone on the phone, probably someone she wanted to run away with but now left her.

The motel owner threatened to call the police when he saw us carrying Julia's body, but I shut him up with some cash, and told Palmera to erase the camera footage of us being here.

We take Julia to the warehouse and lock her up in the basement. Sam couldn't find the cash she stole in her room, which tells me that she gave it away to the person she was talking to on the phone. Either he wanted to steal from us, or he's just someone she fell in love with and played her.

"Lock her up and don't leave her unattended."

"Are we sure it's Valeria's mother? Because Valeria is so beautiful and looks nothing like this..." Johnny asks, making me glare at him.

"Sorry...if I knew you'd be jealous, I wouldn't have said anything," Johnny continues.

I punch him on the face, almost breaking his nose.

"What the fuck!"

"That's for talking shit. If I hear you one more time talking about Valeria or me liking her, I will kill you, Johnny."

"What about my son or daughter?" he asks dramatically.

I don't answer him.

We drive to the villa at dinner time. Valeria is sitting on the table with everyone.

"Nice of you to join. Where have you been?" My father asks, motioning for us to sit. I sit across from Valeria, who doesn't meet my eyes.

"We were on a mission," Sam says, earning confused looks from everyone.

"What mission?" Dad asks.

"Finding Valeria's mother," I reply, this time Valeria looking up and meeting my eyes.

"And did you find her?"

"Yes," I reply, still looking at Valeria.

Valeria's eyes widen and all of a sudden, she's anxious. She swallows hard before asking, "Where is she?"

"At the warehouse, locked in there," I reply.

"W-What...umm...what are you going to do with her?" she asks nervously, avoiding looking at me.

I look at my father and then back at her. "Whatever you want me to do, Valeria."

Honestly, my initial idea was to kill her instantly. I have no mercy on killers, who kill innocent people. But knowing Valeria and what she told us at the office, she wouldn't want that for her mother. I know that she wants to get justice and wants her mother to be imprisoned, which is why I haven't acted, yet.

"I want to kill her."
