Life story: I was born in Jeoung, South Korea, on March 26th, 2003. When I was 3 years old my family and I moved to Japan, and I spent most of my life there until I was around 9 years old. Before, I started elementary school again my mom had to move us back to South Korea. I met Yuna Shin on my first day back to middle school. We both admired a bunch of K-pop groups growing up, and we always dreamed of becoming one! Yuna Shin and I would always pretend we were K-pop idols when we were in middle school. Once we both became 12, we were accepted into JYP without doing anything, and became trainees! We trained for 4 years till we debuted in ITZY. I'm the Lead Vocalist, Main Dancer, and Sub rapper for ITZY. We debuted on February 12th, 2019. Our debut song is DALLA DALLA!

How I became an Idol:

Ever since I was little, I would always sing to my parents. I admired a bunch of K-pop groups growing up, which lead me to want to become one! My childhood friend Yuna Shin (a member of my group) and I would always pretend we were K-pop idols when we were around middle school. Once we both became 10, we auditioned for JYP entertainment. She sang Ailee's song Evening Sky; I sang FANCY by Twice. We were accepted and became trainees, and we trained for 4 years till we debuted in ITZY.
