You're P.O.V

I blew my whistle and started my timer on Hongseok, "My oh my it seems he has gotten faster," said my Dad who is also the coach of the swim team. I'm his assistant, "He's been practicing a lot lately," I tell him. "When does he have time when he is always studying?" said my older brother Jinho who is also the captain of the swim team. "Well your sister here has been helping him," my Dad tells him.

Jinho looks surprise and then looks at Hongseok who is almost done, "That sneaky little," he said. I just look at my brother confused and stop Hongseok's time and he came out of the water. The girls on the bleachers screamed because well pretty much almost naked guy with a good body. He walks up to me, "How I do?" he ask me. "You did great better then your last score, heck maybe better then Oppa here," I tell him. Jinho looks at me, Hongseok smiles. "Oh here," I said to him and handed him, his glasses. He takes them and puts them on, I heard some girls groan. I roll my eyes.

"I'm going to go shower and change," he tells me and goes to the locker room. He almost trips on nothing while walking. "My he has it bad," said Dad, "What?" I ask him. "Oh nothing sweetheart," said my dad and he walks away. I just watch him walk and continue timing the rest of the boys.

Once that was done they went and changed to their uniforms, while I just check on last minute things on my clipboard when I saw three girls who were trying to peep. Yeah you think only guys do this shit!

I blew my whistle and they jumped, "Get away from there!" I tell them. One groaned, "What's the problem we aren't doing anything wrong," said the first one. I walk up to them, "Umm what you are doing is peeping, which is also violating the teams privacy." I tell her. They all look at me pissed off, "So you are allowed to see them exposed but we can't?" Another one said. Okay what the fuck? Something tells me these girls come from families that don't allow them to see the opposite sex.

"First up eww. Second I don't go in there, three this is a violation of a school rule, boy or girl you are not allowed to go inside the locker room specially with the team in there taking showers and changing," I tell them. "Don't play dumb we know you go in there past hours," said the third. "I have special permission to use the locker room during those hours by the headmaster, I use the pool too," I tell them. It's true I have permission to use it, this is because this school that use to be a all boy school they became co-ed three years ago does not have a girls swimming team.

"You think all because your Dad is the coach and a former Olympic swimmer you can get away with anything," said the first one. Okay what does that have to do with anything? Yes my Dad was a Olympic swimmer but he retired when he was twenty-nine because he wanted to have a family. And of course his love of swimming and the water rubbed off on my brother and me. "No I don't okay," I tell them Why are they so mad? Because I caught them?

"I wonder what your mom thinks?" said the first one that hit me, "She does not have a mother," said the second one. Yeah that's true I don't have one because my Dad bless his heart had trouble keeping a relationship. So instead of finding a wife and getting married, he had my brother and I through a sergeant. A old friend of his who knew he wanted to be a dad offered to be his sergeant for him. My Dad helped her a lot when they were younger, hell it was through my Dad she met her wife.

So yeah, she is part of our lives but she's more like an Aunt and she honestly is more comfortable with that and we feel the same. But still that hurts when people say that to me. "Oh yeah that's right you don't, what happened to your mom huh?" said the first one. "Maybe she didn't want to deal with a girl like you," she says to me, I felt upset. "What are you doing?" said a voice it was Hongseok all dressed in his uniform and glasses and walks up to me.

I see the rest of the guys come out, "What's going on we heard voices?" said Kino "Well umm," said one girl. "They were trying to peep on you guys and I called them out," I tell the guys, they look at the girls disgusted. The girls look at me mad, "You no wonder why your mother is not around!" said the first one. Jinho was getting mad, he hardly ever gets mad.

Hongseok steps in front of those girls, "At least her mother would not be ashamed for having peeping toms for daughters," he tells them. They seem offended, "How dare you!" said one, "No how dare you pick on someone all because you can't be a creep," he tells them. They seem mad until one realized, something. "I just remembered something apparently ______ here has not been the only one using the pool at night, she has been seen with a guy with glasses," said one of them.

We were dead quiet, "It's you isn't?" she asked Hongseok, he was quiet. "Wow a little romance going on, that's why you don't anyone else to see your boyfriend," she says to me. "He is not my boyfriend, I was helping him with his practice, don't assume things," I tell them getting annoyed I then walk away I was done at this point.

I tell my dad when I gave him my clip board he said he will handle it, and then I went to class.

After a few classes       

I was sitting on a bench reading when my brother came over to me, "Good news those girls got detention for a week," he tells me. I look at him "And they are banned from the pool area," he tells me, "Okay," I said. It was silent, "So umm," he said "Did you know people have found out that Hongseok and I have been at the pool at night?" I ask him. "I did kind of know all I heard was a rumor a guy and girl have been seen at the pool lately, until find out until you told me that you been helping Hongseok," he tells me. So people already knew.

"Is that why you are upset?" he ask me. I stood up,"I just don't like it when people are in my business," I tell him. I went to class and just didn't let it bother me. And then after classes the boys had practice again. I told my roommate Soyeon to go get dinner without me. Yes I live in the dorm even my brother does too. Why? Dad's reason is because he had to stay in one too so we must also, I think because he didn't want to deal with his teenage children bickering and talking about dating.

I was looking at the schedule when I felt a tap on my shoulder, "Yes Hongseok," I said I knew it was him. "Umm are you mad at me?" he ask me. I look at him "Why do you think that?" I ask him, "Well because of what those girls said about you and me," he said. "I'm not mad at you at all I just hate it when people get all in other people's business," I tell him. "Oh okay good because I-________!" Someone yelled interrupting Hongseok, it was Kyong captain of the baseball team.

He walks up to me, "What is this I am hearing you are at the pool late at night with this geek?" he ask me. Kyong apparently has a "crush" on me, because well I'm the only girl that has not tried to get his attention, so he became interested and basically claims me as his Girlfriend. "Why do I have to explain anything to you?" I ask him, "Just explain!" he said to me. "Look Kyong," said Hongseok I stop him, "I was helping him practice okay," I tell him, he let out a sign of relief.

"Good. I honestly thought you were seeing this geek, I mean come on look at him," he tells me. Hongseok was in his swimsuit, "His abs? Yeah I see them everyday." I tell him. Kyong looks annoyed, "Is that all? if so leave," I tell him. "No I have something to ask you," he said to me. "No i'm not going out with you, I have told you this a thousand times," I tell him. "Come on you never give me a chance," he tells me. "I'm not into you and how you act like right now makes me like you even less, and i'm too busy," I tell him.

"But come on give me a chance," he says to me. "She's not interested in you so leave her alone," said Hongseok. Kyong looks at Hongseok, "What you say geek?" Kyong ask him. "I said leave her alone she wants nothing to do with you, go bother another girl that actually wants to be you!" Hongseok tells him. Kyong gets all in his face, "What's your problem dude?" Kyong ask him, "My problem is you! You never leave her alone. She does not like you, she will NEVER like you!" Hongseok tells him. Kyong looks mad I got worried and step in between them, "Kyong leave please, Hongseok come on," I said and grab Hongseok's hand and we start walking away.

"You like her don't you loser," Kyong says. We look at him, "You like her, that's why you want those private lessons you want to get close to her. Yet again I along with others have seen the way you look at her, I didn't want to believe it at first but now it makes sense. Hate to break it to you buddy she's mine," Kyong tells him. Hongseok looks pissed, "Kyong leave now!" I tell him. He then leaves. "Hongseok," I said and he walks away. I just watch him walk.

Later that night   

I came back from underwater and just lean on the edge of the pool. I worry about Hongseok after all that. Does he like me? Did I miss all the signs? I guess that would explain him always being so close and being so kind to me, but why me? I let out a breath when I heard someone jump into the water. I look and it was Hongseok, he went underwater and came back up when he was right in front of me. We just look at each other, he then leans close to me and puts his lips on mine.

I close my eyes and kiss him back, he wraps his arms around me. I put one hand on his chest while the other was tangled with his wet hair.

We separated and look at each other, "Kyong was right you know, I do like you a lot," he tells me. I smiled at him. "I'm sorry I didn't realize it, I'm a idiot," I tell him. "No your not," he tells me. He then leans his forehead on mine, "You are a amazing, smart and beautiful girl. And I want to call you mine," He tells me. We look at each other, "Can you be mine?" He ask me. I smiled and nodded my head yes, I kiss him again he kisses back and then we seek down into the water.
