I was sitting in the booth with my boyfriend as we watch others dance. I kept on looking at my phone checking the time when he takes my phone away, "calm down babe I'll make sure you get back in time before they notice," he tells me. "I know but," I say to him "but nothing relax okay," he tells me and kisses the side of my head. I just nodded my head in response, it's just hard to relax when you're dating your family's biggest rival's son. Yeah Wonwoo and I are from families that always been against each other.

It's not easy living with parents who want you to stay away from their enemy saying how horrible they are. Wonwoo is 2 years older then me and we go to the same school, as well and we always avoided each other until we both went to the same party a year ago. Alcohol was served at this party and me being the responsible one in my group of friends I didn't drink, one I was 15, two my parents would kill me. Wonwoo saw me and told me how this would be in headlines if the press saw the sweet little responsible daughter of the Ling family at a party like this. I begged him not to say a word and he agreed in exchange I spent the evening with him dancing and talking.

And I agreed and we realized we both go through the same thing, we both want to get out of our parents hold and do what we want and be with who we want. Since we both know are parents are going to make us marry someone we never met. He then proceeds to tell me that the reason he wanted me to hangout with him that evening is because he likes me.
Flashback
"You like me?" I asked him, he blushes "yeah a lot," he tells me. I blush and look away from him, "______ I," He Said "it cant work our families and," I said "How Do you know it can't work unless we give it a chance," he tells me. I look at him, he holds me chin and makes me look at him. "Go out with me tomorrow night, if we get caught I'll explain everything," he tells me. "What if we don't get caught?" I asked him. "Then be my girlfriend?" He asked me. I look at him and thought about and nodded my head yes.

End of flashback.
Since then we been together, right now we were just chilling I would check my phone again but he took it. "Can we just," I said then he kisses me, I melted into the kiss. He moves away, "Don't worry okay I'll get you back in time why are you so tense tonight?" He asked me. "My parents apparently have something important they want to tell me," I tell him. "That's why you're tense?" He asked I nodded my head yes. "Don't worry so much okay," he tells me. "Okay," I said and leaned in and kissed him.

A little bit later
Wonwoo dropped me off and I changed into shorts and a comfy sweater and waiting for my parents in the living room. "Ah welcome home sir and madam," said James our butler. "Thank you James," Said Father I step out of the room and saw them. "Ah there you are dear follow us to your father's office," Said my mother "Alright," I Said and we went up to father's office. I sat down and so did they. "Now dear you know we didn't give you a birthday party last week right?" Said my father "yeah I wasn't upset if you're asked Dad," I said. I wasn't really I honestly was confused because they usually go out and not really give me the party I want. And to be honest they are always boring.

"Well dear the reason being we didn't throw you one is because we have a surprise for you," Said Mother smiling. "What?" I asked "we found you a husband," Said my father said my eyes widened. "What?" I asked "we found you a husband dear his name is Jack, he's the same age as you and is looking forward to meeting you," Said Father. I was just in shock my worst nightmare was happening, "isn't this exciting sweetheart," Said my mother. "No it's not I don't want to get married specially to someone I don't know," I tell them. They were shocked that I would say this.

"_____ you have to do this if you do our stocks will go higher with Jack's family that means we will be a little bit more powerful then the Jeon's," said my father. I was angry at this, of course that is the reason. "Can't believe the both of you using me just for business," I told them and left the office and went up to my room and cried.

At school
"What you serious?" Asked Wonwoo we were up on the roof top. "Yeah and the party is this Saturday what am I going to do?" I say to him. "Don't worry we will fine away," he tells me. "How? The press is also going to be there and my party will also be live on tv," I tell him. "Wait it's going to be live?" He asked "yeah," I say to him. "My god your parents are ridiculous ," he says to me "you think I want out of this engagement," I tell him. "Don't worry I'll think of something," he says to me. "Like what? You can't show up," I tell him. "Who says I can't," he tells me smirking, I raised a eyebrow "what are you planning?" I asked him. "Let's just say this guy won't be going anywhere with my lovely girlfriend I'll see you later," he tells me and pecks my lips and leaves. He's plotting something.

Saturday

I was sitting down at a table at the party I didn't want not enjoying anything. Heck none of my friends are here, as I was sitting there my mother came up to me. "What's wrong?" She asked "everything," I tell her. "Can't you try and have a good time," she says to me, "why it's always the same every year none of my friends are here and the only thing different is that you got the media involved and making me marry someone I don't know," I tell her. She was about to say something when a servant told her Jack and his family was here.

"Come with me," she says to me I get up and follow her then I saw a guy with a mask.

I shrug it off and follow my mother and saw my father. "_____ this is Jake," Said Father "Hi," I Said he took my hand and kissed it, "Nice to finally meet you," he tells me. I was about to say some with I saw a couple more guys wearing the same masks right behind him. What the? Is nobody seeing this? "_____ why don't you dance with Jake," Said my father. Jack has his hand out ready for me to accept it, "I'm sorry but I'm not in the mood to dance," I tell him and walk away and found my cousin Nana (AfterSchool) "you're not happy yet again when are you ever happy on your birthday," she says to me.

"Yeah I just don't want anything of this I want to live my own life marry the person that I love," I tell her. "I know but what can you do," she say to me. "I don't know," I tell her. I saw more guys with masks. "Is nobody seeing this," I said "what?" She asked then the lights went out. My hand was grabbed I couldn't see anything, and was forced to walk and stopped I believe I was in the middle of the party room then I was forced into a kiss but these lips felt familiar. Then the lights turned back on, it was a boy.

(Wearing this with a short cape.) He lets go of me, I recognized him even with a mask, "Wonwoo?" I Said. He smirked and removed his mask, "Surprise Princess," he said. "Jeon Wonwoo? Why is he here? What is he up too? Does he like _____?" What people were saying. "JEON WONWOO!!" Yelled my father and he came up to us. "Why are you here ?" He asked Wonwoo "Simple sir to save my girlfriend," he said and people gasped. "With the help of my friends Seventeen of course," he added. "Girlfriend?" Asked Jake. Wonwoo looked at him, "so you're the guy who was picked for my girl and yes she is my girlfriend we been dating in secret for a year now," he admitted. 

People gasped again. "Wonwoo What are you doing?" I asked him, he looks at me and takes my hands in his. "Simple babe I can't stand the thought of you being with another guy so this is what I thought of," he tells me. "What a great rescue plan," I tell him. "It wasn't a rescue plan," he says to me. "Huh?" I Said he got down on one knee. "What are you doing?" Asked my father angrily. "Baby I love you more then anything so what if our families have some history I care about the present with you so will you," He Said and got out a box out of his pocket and opened it was a ring.

"Will you marry me?" He asked. I felt tears leave my eyes. "There is no way she will ever—Yes," I said interrupting my mother. He smiled and puts the ring on my finger, "______ what are you doing I forbid this," Said my father. "For once let her make the choice for what she wants," Said Wonwoo to my father. "Your parents as well would never accept this," Said my mother. "Actually I came forward to my parents and they want me to happy," he tells them. "It doesn't matter," Said Father. Trying to grab me then the lights went off again and Wonwoo drags me away.

Later on
"Jeon Wonwoo the heir of Jeon family admits to have been with the Heiress of the Ling family for year and proposes to her at her party where her parents were going to announce her engagement to another man that they picked out for her. Nobody knows where the young couple ran off too," Said the news reporter. I was in a baggy shirt and shorts and Wonwoo was next to me on the bed in a T-shirt and sleep pants we were staying in one of his family's cabins. His parents were actually accepting and even was getting a room for me ready. His mother told me on the phone. "Hopefully you're parents will understand dear and this ridiculous feud will stop it will just take time," what she told me.

I look at Wonwoo, "What?" He asked "Did you really mean this proposal or did you say all of it so everyone will know?" I asked him wanting to make sure this was real. He sits up, "of course I meant it I'm really in love with you I honestly wanted to wait a another year to ask you but with all that going on I knew it was time. I'm not saying let's get married right away let's wait while though but I really meant it," he tells me. I smiled at him and kissed him, "I love you," I tell him. "I love you too," and he kisses me back.
