You kicked the rocks as you walked down the barren roads with your head hanging. The thought that the last hour happened was hard to believe. More scarier, this one was final. Your dad finally said it. He hates you and wishes you were never born.

When he kicked you out you only thought about how your mother would've ran out there to comfort you if she was there. But now all you have is your boyfriend. You texted him earlier and asked if you could crash there. He obliged, not even asking his parents. But you knew they wouldn't mind. They knew everything and preferred you to stay there over the weekends. They were still strict about you and Mingyu in different rooms. You understood because it was uncomfortable anyway. You hated your body and didn't want him to hate it either.

You both haven't even kissed yet and you've been together for three months. Mingyu doesn't pressure you into things, which is great, but you wished he would make the move because you were too embarrassed.

Whenever you run to him for comfort, he sings to you. He attends the local music academy. It sucks because he's away from you, but you are happy for him. He can read your mind for what songs you want, but you usually want the legendary Lee Sunhee’s songs.

When he tries to sing American songs he makes you laugh because he can't remember the lyrics. And a laugh is always what you want. You love him, but couldn't get the courage to say it and it made you feel like a fool. You would think that he thought that you don't love him, but the way he is, he would leave you if he didn't know.

You wanted to tell him tonight. You finally decided it. He's done so much for you and it's the least you can do. And you wanted to kiss him tonight. After the harsh words your father spat, you needed love. Mingyu might what some love too. Maybe he doesn't feel the affection you have for him. You could show him.

You knocked on the door, even though you know you don't have to. Barging in isn't your thing. Mingyu’s mom opened the door and smiled. “Hey, honey. It happened again?”

You nodded and sniffed. “It's final this time. I know he was sober and he meant it.”

She pouted her lip. “I hate to say it, but it's for the best. Come in and get some food and make yourself comfortable. Mingyu is in the shower right now, so you'll see him in a few minutes.”

“Thank you, Mrs. Kim.”

She nodded and moved out of the way. You walked in and made yourself a quick sandwich. After eating you sat on the couch next to his father. “Hey, monkey,” he said. “That jackoff, huh?”

You chuckled and nodded. He was watching Hello Counselor.

“You dad should be on this show, maybe Yeongja could knock some sense into him.”

“But Dongyeop is funnier.”

“No way.”

“Alright, think what you wanna think.” You chuckled. You wished he was your real dad but that would be awkward being that his son is your boyfriend. He probably thought the same.

He took a sip of his beer and sighed at the attitude of the client. You liked chilling out with him. He didn't ask questions. He just let you hang.

Mingyu came out with just a towel around his waist, looking around frantically. “Mom I can't find my clothes I swear they were in the bathroom.” He smiled at you and your face heated up.

Mr. Kim deadpanned, “Dude, look in your room and find them before you girlfriend splits in two.” You closed your eyes tight and blushed even more, if that was possible.

He left and came back fully clothed, not without Mr. Kim teasing you a little first. He smiled again at you. “Hey. Are you OK?”

You nodded. “I’m way better.” You stood up and ran into his arms. He chuckled and hugged you back.

“Good.”

You sighed in deep, your face buried into his chest. This was your chance to thank him. “Can I talk to you alone?”

“Yeah of course. Come into my room.”

You entered his room with him and sat on the bed, hyperventilating a bit. “This is the last time this will happen. My dad meant every word he said. And I'm not coming back. I need to talk to your parents about maybe letting me stay, but I don't want to be a bother.”

He sat next to you. “That's good.”

“Um… after everything I've been through I didn't really feel loved by my dad, someone that is supposed to be close to me and it feels horrible. It just got me thinking if I'm showing you enough affection.”

“You don't need to. You are enough don't worry.”

“B-but I mean, what about cuddling. We barely do that. And we haven't kissed yet and I freak out every time you have an inch of clothing off.”

“I had a lot of clothing off though--”

“My point is that I want to show you that… Um… I… Love you.” You shivered at the thought of him saying he doesn't love you back and you instantly regretted saying it. But you do love him. At least he knows.

He stared at you passionately. “I love you, too, Y/N.”

“Why is it so easy to say that for you?”

“Because you said it first,” he chuckled. “You said we haven't kissed yet. You're right. It's mostly my fault. I want to. Is that OK?”

You couldn't believe both of your ‘missions’ were going to plan. You nodded nervously. He leaned in slowly and rested his palm on your jawline. You puckered your lips slightly and leaned in until your lips met. It was a little awkward at first but you slowly got used to his lips’ movements. He began to heat it up, forcing more passion.

Before Mingyu could make a single moan his mom cleared his throat. She had a laundry basket in her hands with her eyebrows raised. “Close the door next time,” she said softly. She placed the basket down and slowly walked away. Mingyu took care of his laundry and then sat down on the bed.

“Well, that happened.” Mingyu chuckled. “Um, how about we try that again with the door closed?”

You blushed. “You're getting a little too confident. I'm gonna go to bed.” You got up and walked out with a little smile on your face.

Meanwhile, Wonwoo, Mingyu’s best friend, cried as he saw you and Mingyu kiss. He missed his shot.

Lmao sorry for that last part 😂
