We walked into the reception and everyone clapped and whistled. He was carrying me and stopped to kiss me in front of everyone again. "I really hope this isn't a long reception." Everyone laughed, since I guess a 25-year-old virgin bride is something everyone has to know.

He set me down, and we greeted our guests hand in hand.

We were ushered to the dancefloor first, and Mr. Cocky thought it would be funny to replace our first dance song with a Nirvana song. I glared at him and he told them to turn it off and start the real one. "The last thing I want to do is give my bride a headache on our wedding night."

He smiled down at me and our song started. We picked Van Morrison because he was my mother's favorite artist.

He held me close in his arms as we danced. "I love you, Kori. You're beautiful and thank you so much for choosing me." He said in my ear and kissed the top of my head. His mother stood by my father and they both cried. Dad is getting soft as he gets older.

"You are everything I ever dreamed of and I'm going to show you later." He said, and I giggled. "You better!" I replied, and he threw his head back and laughed.

"I have to confess, I'm really nervous." He said, and I pulled his face down and kissed him. "Don't be, it's just us." He looked into my eyes and smiled. "You're right." He said.

He kissed me again and the song ended and everyone clapped. It's amazing how we pulled this wedding together so quickly, and this place is packed with family, friends, and business associates.

Before dinner, our friends reenacted our "love story." They even had props and I knew where this was heading.

A heavy metal song started and Stella played me, while Patrick played Gavin. She even acted like she was straddling him to get out of the car and Craig walked up and saw it, then ran away like he did that day. She slammed the door in Patrick's face and Craig even acted like he was jumping her leg. Too bad, I don't think he was acting. Gavin laughed so hard, he sat on the floor and pulled on my dress. He couldn't breathe.

They all headbanged, then the song changed into something soft and they all slow danced.

"I hope someone got that on video." He laughed so hard.

We joined them in the dance, then we ate.

Patrick started his toast.

"I am so happy to be here for my favorite girl. I guess the guy she married isn't that bad, but Kori did marry far below her potential. Just kidding brother."

"No, it's true," Gavin said, and everyone laughed.

"All jokes aside, I do have a great big brother. He might have given me the smackdown one too many times growing up, but I forgave him when he gave me the coolest nephew ever, and now a sister-in-law that, well let's be honest, she's hot as hell!"

More laughter.

"Kori, you make family gatherings something I look forward to now. I mean, look at her! Gavins not too bad, but we all know who the most handsome man in the room is." He looks at Keegan. "My nephew of course." He got some awe's out of that one.

My brother taught me the most important things in a man's life. How to tap a keg and some pretty awesome pickup lines, but most of all, what to look for in a wife. Father Heart, you really should have had more daughters."

My dad waved his hand and shook his head no.

"Yeah, I'm sure it was hard raising such a beautiful daughter. I would have locked her away somewhere. To my brother and sister-in-law. I wish you a lifetime of happiness, and I do genuinely love you both."

I hugged him and Gavin patted his shoulder.

It was then announced that there was another presentation, but everyone looked around and we had no idea who set it up.

A screen dropped down and music played as a video started. It was pictures of Gavin as a child. Handsome and adorable, and then some of me appeared from my yearbook. I looked terrible, but people still smiled. My white hair and big glasses were all that showed, until it turned to a video of me in lingerie walking the stage at Chloe's show. Then one of us in our underwear in the pool. Gavin jumped up and ran to the guy who played it and screamed at him. The word "Whore" appeared. I looked at my father and he looked at me with disappointment. I've never seen him look that way.

I ran out of the room in tears and the girls followed. I could hear Gavin screaming at someone. The girls shut me into a conference room and I just dropped to the floor crying.

"I guarantee it was that Claudia bitch." Stella paced, while Chloe got on the floor and held me. Melissa came running in and practically dived next to me as I cried on the floor. "I'm so sorry, Kori. I'm sure it was Claudia, and Candace probably helped."

When the door opened, I could hear Brenda yelling some choice words and my father walked inside. "Girls, could I have a minute with my daughter?"

Dad came in and sat next to me. "I have a lot of pity for the person that did this to you, sweetheart. Gavin is out for blood, and I think he really needs his wife to calm him down. Before you do, I just want to say that I know you are not what that video made you to be. You know your mother and I both weren't strong enough to wait, but you did, and even if it wasn't true, I would still be proud of you. Kissing the man you love doesn't make you a whore. You are everything I ever wanted of a daughter, and I already knew about the charity event. Chloe posted about it on Twitter. Maybe not your finest moment, but you could have done a lot worse. I love you, and I'm so very proud of you."

I cried. "You looked so disappointed, and what about his mom and Keegan?"

"I'm not disappointed in you, but the person who did this to my baby girl. His mom is distracted by her mother. She's telling everyone about dancing at a brothel, and something about a man named Ernest and his attributes as a man." He smirked. "She will be fine, honey, she's an adult. Keegan didn't see it because he was playing under the table. It's Gavin you should worry about. Kellen and he are eventually going to rip each other's throats out."

He helped me up, and I pulled myself together before facing what's ahead of me. When I walked out, Kellen was being ushered out of the hotel ballroom along with Candace, Stephanie was crying, and my new father-in-law was looking at her with disgust. What the hell is going on?

There was a smashed up laptop on the floor, and I couldn't find Gavin anywhere. Melissa was holding Keegan and sitting by Brenda, comforting her as she cried, everything is a mess. A complete and total disaster. Patrick was holding an ice pack on his head and was on the phone with someone. I didn't see Craig or Alex anywhere.

Stella was trying to talk Gavin's grandma off the stage where she was trying to dance, and there were plenty of security guards watching over the crowd. Some left and some stayed to watch the drama of my failed wedding reception unfold.

"Brad! Where's Gavin?"

"He's with Alex and Craig. He's okay, but things got a little out of hand."

"Where is he?"

"He's giving a statement to the police. I'm sure he will be out soon."

"Police?"

"Ah, yeah, he destroyed some property when he found out your DJ took a bribe to set this up.He hit him a few times because he wouldn't turn off the video."

"What happened to Patrick?"

"Kellen went after Gavin and Patrick stepped into the punch. Security got ahold of Kellen and ushered him out. Patrick isn't pressing charges, so he was led out of the hotel. Chloe started screaming at Candace, and Gavin's dad found out she was behind it and had her removed."

"What were you doing this whole time?"

"Trying to help Stella with Gavin's grandmother until she started calling me Ernest and things got really weird so I walked away."

I shook that one-off. "Is Gavin being arrested?"

"That depends on the DJ and if he presses charges. I doubt it, because Gavin could easily make that man's life a nightmare."
