Lance had finally got a guitar from the space mall, he'd been eyeing the old beat down beauty. Problem was, he couldn't get it with the others around. Hunk knew he could play. But he just wants to sing and play care-freely, no judgement. He finally got the chance. He convinced an old alien friend who's name he couldn't pronounce to take him. It was something like gflorizarki-zaki-ranazi, whatever, he just calls him Jeff. Jeff thought the name was funny and calls him Lace but he doesn't mind.

Lance had a guitar. He ran his hands along the old wood. The familiar feeling. He always played with and for his family. He smiled at the memory of putting on little shows for them, even doing duets with his sisters.

He played a few cords flinching. It definitely needed some tuning. It took him a while to make it perfect but it was well worth it.

The paladins hadn't seen Lance for days, excluding the rare occasions of training and eating. They didn't know he was practicing on his guitar. He felt a little rusty but played beautifully.

The paladins grew concerned and decided to knock on his door to see what the issue was. They came down the hall to his room but paused outside his door. They heard very faint muffled sounds of a guitar and singing. Lances singing.

They slowly, quietly, slid open the door a bit enough to release the music letting it pour into the hallway.

Lance huffed and wrote some things down in a little notepad. He was facing the opposite direction yet at the perfect angle for the others to see him. "Damn it Keith, why do you have to be so difficult to write a song about."

He looked up at his fingers moving them around to press each wire in specific combinations.

"Finally." He muttered and looked back at his notepad. "We'll try it again."

(Lucky originally by Jason Mraz, covered by Jeremy Shada.)

"Do you hear me?~ I'm talking to you. Across the water, across the deep blue ocean, under the open sky, oh my, baby I'm trying.~" Lance sung turning around in the heat of singing. Upon seeing the paladins he let out a horrified screech. "What are you guys doing?!" He yelled throwing a stuffed animal at them. Shiro slid the door shut quickly shielding them from getting pummeled by a fuzzy teddybear.

They all looked over to Keith who had a very prominent blush spread across his cheeks. "What? Stop looking at me." He snapped embarrassed. The song Lance wrote was about him. Keith felt like a teenage girl swooning over some guy who could sing and play.

The door slid open and Lance stood with a red face. He was embarrassed and angry. He stomped past them making eye contact with Keith. The tall boy quickly looked away rubbing the back of his neck keeping his head down.

Keith gave the others a look of 'leave' and they caught on giving him a few winks. He rolled his eyes before chasing after Lance. "Sharpshooter." Keith said trying to stop him.

"What do you want Keith?" Lance turned around angrily.

"Why did you write the song?" Keith asked genuinely wanting an answer.

"I-I don't know I just did!" Lance snapped wanting to leave the situation.

"Was there even any meaning behind it." Keith pleaded.

"No, I did it because I wanted to, that's it." Lances face was hard and cold, a look that had usually only been on Keith. Keith's face however was full of emotion and conflict, a look more familiar with Lance. The two had practically switched.

Hearing those words Keith's face twisted into anger. "You're a jerk!" He snapped. He didn't know what else to say. Keith stomped off leaving a stunned Lance.

Maybe he was too harsh. Maybe Keith was upset because he had hoped Lance liked him. But that was insane, there's no way Keith would like him back. But maybe?

The other paladins walked down the hall looking confused. "Keith went to his room looking upset, what happened?" Shiro asked.

"Nothing." Lance said a little guilty.

"Damn it Lance! Keith has a giant crush on you, did you just mess him up?" Pidge spouted. "Are you messing with my ship?"

Lance stood stunned. "What did you say?"

"Damn it Lance?" Pidge asked.

"No after that." Lance pleaded.

"Oh, that Keith has a massive crush on you?" Pidge said like it was old news.

"Keith likes me? Keith likes me!" He laughed dancing triumphantly. He grabbed Pidge by the shoulders. "Keith likes me! Oh no, Keith likes me." He came to realize what he'd said earlier to the boy. "I gotta go." He took off to his room snatching his guitar before running to Keith's room. He banged on the door. "Keith I need to talk to you."

"Damn Lance, just leave me alone!" Keith yelled.

"Fine, just listen then." Lance swung his guitar around taking a deep breath.

(All Gummed Up~ Finn a.k.a Jeremy Shada.) (we gonna change the lyrics a bit tho.)

"I can't keep pushing this down, any deeper, why do I keep trying if I can't keep him? Every move I make is just another mistake is just another mistake, I wonder what it would take, because it feels like there's a fire inside my body, like there's a fire inside my heart, it's like this feeling is going to consume me, if I keep waiting for this thing to start. Oh, I feel like I'm all warmed up inside, it's like I'm all warmed up inside, it's like I'm all warmed up insi-iii-iii-iiide.~" He sung.

The door slid open and Keith stood there awkwardly. "You're still a jerk." He spoke.

Lance laughed a little. "I think I'm worse than a jerk."

"Yeah but the author tries not to swear in her stories." Keith folded his arms moodily.

"Can I kiss you?" Lance asked.

"No, you're still a jerk." Keith was ready to walk into his room and close the door on Lance so the boy pushed inside despite Keith's protests.

"I think I should explain a little." Lance said sitting on the floor. There was no moving him. Keith rolled his eyes and sat on his bed ready to hear a sorry excuse of an explanation. "I like you, a lot. It didn't even seem like there was a possibility that you would like me back. When I write songs about you it's how I take out all that emotion, I was a little defensive and when you heard it, I was scared. I thought you'd reject me and I'd lose not just a crush but a friend. I'm so sorry."

Keith walked toward him not saying a word with a face unable to be read. He kneeled down and kissed Lance.

Okay this song right here is super good but didn't know how to use it. So here•
