Lance, Pidge and Hunk all sat across from a few bottles of an odd purple substance. "What is it?" Lance asked.

No ones eyes tore from the bottles. "No clue. We should try it." Pidge smiled mischievously.

"That doesn't sound like a very good idea." Hunks arms folded as he leaned back in the metallic chair.

Keith just rolled his eyes sitting nearby. His arms were folded and he had his usual stern look. Lance bit at his cheek curiously. Keith always looked deep in thought, he wished he could know what it was that he was thinking about.

Coran entered the kitchen humming pleased. "Hello Paladins!"

"Hey Coran, what is this stuff?" Pidge asked.

"Ah! This was a gift from the Zachari planets people. It's quite a delicacy, finely aged to perfection." He twirled his mustache.

"Like alcohol?" Hunk asked worriedly.

"Yes, but careful, it is quite strong." Coran warned. It didn't occur to him that the paladins were to young.

"Well lets have some!" Pidge smiled and grabbed some cups. "Who's in?"

"I'm in!" Lance smiled already opening a bottle.

Hunk was indecisive at first but then nodded.

"I'll have some too." Keith said joining them.

Lance gave Keith a look of disbelief.

"What?" Keith looked at him folding his arms.

"Uh, Nothing!" Lance said looking away.

They were all handed their cups filled with the purple beverage. "Lance are you sure? You probably shouldn't have so much. You are a lightweight." Hunk warned.

"I'm not a lightweight!" Lance protested.

"How bad of a lightweight?" Keith looked to Hunk.

"Really bad." Hunk replied.

"I am not!" Lance said again and as if to prove it, he guzzled down the entire glass.

"Lance no!" Pidge tried to stop him.

"Oh no." Hunk said quietly.

"What are you guys doing?" Shiro asked from behind them.

"Nothing!" Pidge and Hunk yelled.

"We're getting drunk!" Lance toasted his empty cup fumbling and tripping on his own legs. He nearly fell but caught himself.

Keith sipped from his glass and pursed his lips at the foul taste and the burning sensation in his throat. It was very strong. "Stop! Drinks down now! You know you're too young." Shiro instructed.

They all rolled their eyes and obeyed setting them on the table.

Lance wobbled over and examined the 1/4 of the way full bottle. He then lifted it to his lips and tilted his head back.

"Lance no!" Keith shouted and took the bottle from him. Lance only managed one chug of the beverage.

"C'mon Keith. I told you I'm no lightweight." He whispered the last part near Keith's ear.

Shivers ran up Keith's spine and his eyes locked onto the drunk boy. "As if, you're astonishingly drunk."

"Noooo!" Lance dragged out and he leaned on Keith.

"Keith could you take care of Lance before he hurts himself. We'll talk about consequences later when Lance is sober." Shiro pinched the bridge of his nose.

"I am sober!" He slurred tripping over his own foot. Keith caught Lance and began to help him down the hall to his room. "Keith, you're pretty."

"You're drunk."

"You're gorgeous." Lance smiled.

"You're really drunk."

"Even if I am drunk-WHICH IM NOT-doesn't mean I don't mean it." Lance said woozily.

Keith remained silent. He didn't know how to respond and therefore didn't.

"Keith?"

"Hmm?"

"Would you date a guy?" Lance asked stumbling.

"Uh, um, yes. Lance, I'm gay." Keith spoke nervously.

"Oh. Would you date me?" Lance raised an eyebrow smiling like an idiot.

Keith didn't speak, he didn't dare.

Lance faced him and loosely wrapped his arms around Keiths neck. "Would you?" He slurred.

"Lance that's a stupid ques-"

"Would you?" Lance interrupted leaning forward his face inches from Keith's.

Keith tried to respond but found himself leaning forward as well. "Well... I..." He trailed off. Their lips were almost touching when Lance fell into Keith's shoulder asleep.

Keith's face twisted into annoyance. "You are such an asshat." Keith muttered at the now asleep Lance. Keith was the only thing holding the tall boy up. "C'mon Lance." He shook him.

"Mmph." Lance murmured something before his head lifted. "Did we make out?" He asked clearly still half asleep and highly drunk.

"No!" Keith said loudly.

"Aw, damn it." Lance whined. "Can we?"

"Absolutely not." Keith said dragging him down the hall.

"Why not?" Lance asked.

"Because you're hammered." Keith rolled his eyes. There was really no point in arguing with the boy.

"Keith, I think I'd know if I was that drunk." Lance stopped walking to put his hands on his hips.

"Oh really?" Keith smirked.

"Yes." Lance breathed.

"Okay." Keith said slyly. He sauntered over to Lance and barely poked his shoulder only to throw off the tall boy's whole balance. He had caught Lance just before he could fall.

"Hey Keith?"

"What?"

"I think I'm falling for you." Lance smiled goofily at his awful joke.

"You're the worst." Keith said unable to hold back his own laugh.

Keith opened the door to Lances room and the drunk boy plopped on his bed. "Keithy! Join me!" Lance patted the spot next to him.

Keith rolled his eyes and turned to leave.

"No! Keithy!"

"What?" Keith folded his arms.

Lance patted the spot next to him again.

Keith sighed, "Fine. But just until you fall asleep."

Lance got comfy under the blankets and Keith sat awkwardly at the end of his bed.

Keith thought he was asleep but was proven wrong when Lances head rose to look at him. "Hmm?"

Lance patted next to himself again. Keith rolled his eyes and sat by the drunk boy. He didn't stand a chance when Lances long limbs reached out and pulled him down into the sea of soft pillows and blankets.

"Lance!" Keith protested as he was being held tightly in Lances embrace. He would never admit he was actually extremely comfortable.

Lance didn't respond as he was dead asleep. Keith just brushed off the odd situation and cuddled in closer. His bed wasn't this comfortable. Then again, he made no effort to make his room homely. Besides, Lance was what had made it so comfortable.

Keith felt himself doze off eventually as well.

Lance woke up to an outrageous headache. His head pounded and he was thankful for the lack of light in his room. He was comfortable as he felt a soothing warmth. His eyes snapped open and saw Keith was cuddled in his arms. Lance was speechless.

Drunk Lance had managed in one night to do what sober Lance had been trying to do for months. Not necessarily get him in his bed, that was a whole other story, but spark something between them and get a romantic relationship going.

He watched Keith shift. Lance hates the fact he couldn't quite remember what happened but he was sure thankful for it.

Keith suddenly shot up looking extremely embarrassed. He tried to get out of the bed but Lance grabbed his arm, he had some questions.

"Keith, what, you know, happened? Did we do anything?" Lance asked.

"Beside sleep in the same bed, no." He tried to leave again.

"Wait. Is there anything I can do to change that?" Lance asked.

Keith looked surprised but nodded.

If either of the boys had known all it would have taken to start their relationship was to get Lance drunk, they would have done it long ago. Now they enjoyed the lovely title of 'boyfriends'.
