After you and Chris finished catching up under the afternoon sky, you both walked inside. You guys separated when you entered as other guests chatted and greeted you.

You saw Belle and Adam dancing at the center, with people watching them in awe. You spot a girl behind the large marble pillar near you.

The girl has soft blonde hair with a crystal tiara resting on her head, wearing a long-sleeved pastel blue dress with crystal wings behind her. You find it quite odd seeing a girl with an attractive green complexion. But you should judge a person at first glance. You learned that from your brother before you got cursed.

You approached her; you feel she needs someone from the look of her anxious, shy face. "Hey," You greeted her with a wave and a warm smile. She looked at you with fear as she hid her face with her hands. You were shocked, stopping your way to her as you think you might've frightened the poor fairy.

You panicked a little, thinking of ways to calm a frightening girl. You took a deep breath then walked towards the girl; and held her hands softly, moving them away from her face slowly. You gave her a gentle smile, "Hey, I'm sorry I scared you there. I just want to know if you're enjoying  the party." She smiled a little, feeling a bit comfortable with your friendly aura.

"I'm sorry about that. It's just that people kept judging me about my looks. Last year they crossed the line! A group of seven people attacked me after saving me, like what the heck?! So I put a curse on them, making them learn not to accuse people by their looks."

'This is girl is too overpowered.'

You mentally sweatdropped at her, now it's your turn to be frightened. You shivered, remembering the fairy cursed you. "You know, I think it's right to give them a lesson." You grinned, and she smiled at you. Her smile is angelic. You just wished people would appreciate her more.

"By the way, I'm princess Y/N from the L/N kingdom." You took your hand out, indicating a friendly handshake. She smiled as she shook her hand with yours. "Princess Agatha from the Fairy Kingdom."

You flopped with your back on the vast bed, tired from greeting guests and hanging out with Chris and Agatha. The party ended before dusk came, and you were grateful for it.

'These heels are overkill! I can hear my feet screaming right now.'

You sat up on the edge of your bed and took off your heels, freeing your feet from their misery and stretching your toes out. You breathe out a sigh of maximum relief as you flop your half upper body on the bed again, this time face on the sheets. You are ready to doze off, not caring about the dress and make-up you still have on.

You heard a soft knock on your door, and you're too lazy to get up from your comfortable bed. "Come in," you called, voice muffled. You heard the door open and the clicks of soles getting closer. You feel weight added next to you. You lift your head and look at who is sitting on your bed, disturbing your almost way to dreamland.

You saw Chris with a closed smile. "What do you want?" You gave him an annoyed tone, wanting to sleep. "Do you ever think of going out and explore the island? I mean you spend a long time here and I never get to see you out of the castle grounds." You feel insulted at what he said, but soon realize he is right when you think about it.

"That's because I don't." You savagely replied.

He chuckled at your comment, "I don't see you have a purpose on the throne anymore, now that Adam is king and he's married." He pointed out. "You will see a little Adam or Belle running around the castle soon."

You understand what he's talking about. Once Adam got an heir, you won't be the queen of this kingdom. Unless something happened to the couple, but you doubt that. Plus, no one would expect you to be a too proper princess now that you are free.

'Wait. I'm now free.'

You got excited as you rose instantly from your position with your hands supporting your half body, totally forgetting about your sleep. "I'll take that as a yes." Chris laughed at your enthusiasm, "So, I'm going to train you the basics of defense and offense tomorrow. Sounds good?" You nodded in agreement as he stood up and left your room.

You are ready to take a nap, but the feeling of tiredness vanishes because of the excitement earlier. You curse at your cousin and had to wait until after dinner to sleep.

'Well, this is annoying.'

Cold air engulfs your body, and you open your eyes in an alert. All you can see are the emptiness of the ocean around you. You try to scream for help but as soon you open your mouth, water clogged your diaphragm making you choke. Your eyes became tired as they slowly shut.

'Please help me.'

You gasped, jolting you awake from your dream. You heavily breathe in and out as you observe your surroundings. You're still in your bedroom—no vast emptiness of the water. You grew confused about the dream you had.

'The heck was that. What was that? '

A knock startled you from your thoughts, Belle peeked out her head, and you let out a breath of relief. "It's time for breakfast lil' sis." She gave you a gentle smile, the smile too bright it could envy the sun. "Oh, and your cousin said he'll meet you at the grounds after breakfast." She added, then left, closing the door on the way.

You hop out of bed and stretch your arms, then get dressed inside your walk-in closet. You wear the most comfortable yet suitable clothes you have; a dark grey long-sleeved top, black high waisted shorts, and combat boots.

You check yourself in the whole body mirror. You become confident even if your body is not too fit but fit enough to love yourself. You left the closet and your room, your dog greeted you at the bottom of the staircase on your way to the dining hall. You crouched down and patted his head, its short soft fur in between your fingers.

You arrived at the dining hall and saw your brother and Belle sitting there and facing each other. You noticed your cousin looking bored and awkward as he third wheels.

He turns his head and notices you at the door. He frantically waved his arms. You laughed after Chris shot you a help me look.

You sat beside Chris and Belle notices you. And as on cue, servants began to serve food and drinks on the table. You all eat in comfortable silence.

After you and Chris finish eating, you both rise from your chairs and race to the outside. "I bet I can get there first!" Chris declared and you laughed, "It's on!" You agreed, and both sprinted to the castle grounds.

It was a tie. Both of you arrived at the training grounds, both having to catch up on your breaths. "What's the use of training if you already tire yourselves out." An old voice behind you spoke. You turn around and saw Maurice, Belle's father, with his arms in his back.

You smiled as you took large breaths. "It's our thing." You pointed to you and Chris. He chuckles, "You both look like children." You grinned at him like an excited kid when he said that.

"So which weapon do you prefer?" Chris suddenly spoke, turning your attention to him. "I like something that I can wield but not cause too much harm, please. You know since I don't like the sight of blood."

He thought for a second at your words, he then smiled as he thought of something. "You could use a staff. It's something you can wield, and it can stun enemies and perfect for defense as well." He recommended. He then walked over to a servant who stood beside a basket full of different weapons. Chris grabbed the wooden staff and lent it to you.

"I'm gonna teach you the basics of defense first, after that, we move to offense. Sounds clear!" He instructed and you nodded in understanding. You grip your weapon, you start following while listening to his teachings.

"Lesson number one," he started as he goes around you, then he kicked the back of your knees, making you stumble down. With quick reflexes, you steady yourself with your hands before your face kiss the grass.

"Never let your guard down." He continued the smirked at you. You rise to your feet, determination plastered on your face.
