"You'll be alright," Belle assures your brother. "We are together now. Everything is going to be fine." Adam brings out his hand and caresses her cheek. "At least ... I got to see you ... one last time." You cried heavily as your brother breathed out his last breath and closed his eyes.

"No! Please! Please don't leave me." Belle begs and cries out heavily on his chest.

You bowed your head after seeing the last petal of the flower fall. You could feel your tears trailing down your feathers.

'I guess this is the end. Goodbye Belle, at least I got a great time hanging out with you.'

Ultimate darkness consumes your vision, and you cannot feel anything or even your body at will.

"So this is death." You said to yourself as you see yourself back to your human form but glowing. Your legs then began to move on their own. "Kind of lonely here, doesn't it?"

You get scared of where your legs are taking you cause you can't see in the dark. A bright light invades your vision. You feel like it's deja vu seeing that light again. As you got closer and closer to the light, you closed your eyes as it was too much.

You opened your eyes to the real world, blinking rapidly to see if this was not a dream. You stopped as you realized it was. A swirl of light moved around you, and you felt your body turning into a human again. You saw your brother lifting Belle and spinning her around in his human form.

You saw everything back to normal, Lumière, Cogsworth, and Mrs. Potts in their now human forms. You smiled happily as you gave them a group hug. They got surprised seeing you suddenly get teary-eyed, "Oh my gosh, princess, are you okay?"

You chuckled at Mrs. Potts's question, "Don't worry, Mrs. Potts. It's tears of joy." You assured her, wiping your tears as you sniffled. "It's just that ... I'm glad we are back to human again." You hugged her again. "At least I don't have to hop anymore." Mrs. Potts and Lumière laughed at your joke.

"Hey, is she ready?" You asked the stylist and the other bridesmaids when you walked through Belle's room. All were wearing a fading red asymmetrical dress and matching red peep-toe platform slingback heels, but yours has a Grecian neckline on your clothing. They nodded at your question as Belle walked out of the changing room.

She wore a fading pink wedding dress, white from the top until light pink at the bottom, with embroidered custom-made roses. With a variety of colors of pink flowers laid onto her braided hair and a tiara, holding behind a medium veil rested on her head.

You gasped at her, "oh my gosh, you look stunning, my soon-to-be sister-in-law." You gleefully cheered her. "Why thank you —  wait, what?" Belle gave you a confused look, catching on to what you said in the last sentence. You raised your eyebrows at her as you grabbed a bouquet of pink and yellow roses.

"You didn't know?!" You laughed at her when she shook her head no. She became embarrassed. "You didn't tell me my husband is your brother. I thought you were some staff." She playfully punched your right arm, then she pouted.

"Wow, that's gotta hurt. Both literally and figuratively." You pointed out. "Plus, I thought you knew already." She stuck out her tongue, and you giggled at her childishness.

'She's supposed to be the mature one.'

A knock interrupted your mini argument. "Ladies, I think it's almost time for the wedding." A bridesmaid reminded as they were now by the doorway. You mumbled a quick sorry to them. You turned to face your sister.

"So, are you ready to get married to my brother?" Bringing your arm out to Belle, "Ready as I'll ever be, my maid of honor." Belle giggled, and she hooks her arm with yours. Then together you exited the room to the castle gardens where the wedding is held.

You both arrived, and you got ready to stand in line behind the bridesmaid with the groomsman as their partner. Belle left you alone to calm her crying father before the ceremony started.

You feel lonely not having to socialize with other people. And so you waited for the best man to arrive, wanting to question him why your brother, not you, chose him. It's not like you're jealous of him. You were just disappointed that there's no such thing as a 'girl' best man in your kingdom.

A tap on your shoulder interrupted your thoughts. You turned around who it was and saw a boy who looked the same age as you. He is pretty tall for your liking, almost a 5'8. And from his semi-curly dyed blonde hair, you could see some of his roots slightly noticeable.

"Hey, are you okay there?" He asked, a little bit concerned about the bothered look on your face. "You look like you wake up from the wrong side of the bed." He laughed a little at his joke but later faltered as you were not replying. "Sorry if I offend you in some way."

"Oh, it's not that. It's just I want to see the best man at my brother's wedding so I can him some questions." You , you stop to take a good look at him.

'He looks familiar, but I don't quite remember who.'

"Have we met before?" You asked him, holding on to your suspicion as you rack your brain to remember the identity of this man.

He smirked at you and open his mouth, but the string quartet cut him off as it began playing to start the ceremony. He shut his mouth and lent out his arm to you, "How about I'll tell after the ceremony, maid of honor?" You looked at him suspiciously, and then his arm in front of you.

"What are you on about?" You asked, stepping a bit away from the weird man. He motioned his arm a little for you to take the hint. You blinked a few times and let out an "Oh." in realization. It's your partner. You then hook your right arm under his and held the pink and yellow roses in your other hand.

'So this is the guy that Adam chose to be his best man, huh?'

"Deal." You agreed, and the two of you waited for the other to get to the altar. You and the mysterious guy then walked to the front and separated when you reached in front. You saw Belle at the wooden arch, decorated with various yellow and pink flowers. Your attention focused on Belle as she walked the aisle with her father, totally forgetting about the question you were going to ask the best man.

After the wedding, all guests headed their way inside the ballroom. You stayed behind the entrance of the castle to look for the mysterious guy, but you couldn't see his blonde hair somewhere, so you guessed he had already gone inside the castle.

You reached the ballroom and saw your brother talking to some guests. You walked behind the small crowd and coughed, acknowledging your presence. Adam turned around and smiled at you, "Hey Y/N," he greeted, "What is it?" he looked at you with your face in slight annoyance.

"Ever wonder where your best man is at the moment?" You asked, straight to the point. He nodded, "You mean Chris? I think he is over there." He pointed at the glass doors where it leads to a huge balcony.

"Thanks! Wait... what?" You stopped before you could walk over and turn to face your brother, "Did you mean THE Chris? As in our childhood friend who pranks you 24/7 when we were young?" You questioned him in excitement.

Adam rolled his eyes and laughed at your antics, then he nodded. You gasped, mouth wide open and eyes big as if they'd pop out any second. You speed walked over to the balcony because running in heels is very painful. Heck, even wearing them is already agonizing.

You spot a spoof of blonde hair at the edge of the balcony, seeing him taking the view of the palace gardens. You walked over and slapped his arm very hard, "Ow! What was that for?" He groaned at the stinging pain in his arm.

"That is for acting all suspicious and scaring the hell out of me." You pouted at him and looked away. You then bit your lip to keep you from smiling.

'Now I get why Adam chose him.'

You missed your childhood friend/ cousin after so long. He laughed while rubbing the area he got hit, and you can't help but let out a laugh too.

"It's been so long. I didn't even recognize you." You calmed down, and you wiped your non-existent tears. "Ouch." He dramatically caresses the left part of his chest, "How could you hurt me, Y/N? I can feel my heart crack." He said as he did an intentional ugly cry.

You crackled a loud laugh at his humor and placed a hand over your mouth to minimize the noise. He joined you after he pulled out the stunt. You and he were both crackheads when you were young. You were glad that hadn't changed a bit.

You both calmed down and stared at the garden below. Your arms rested at the edge as you cupped your cheeks. Enjoying each other's company in silence. "What have you been doing in the past years?" You asked, breaking the silence.

He smiled a little, "You know, the everyday job of an adventurer." You raised your eyebrows at him, but you let him continue. "Adventure across the sea and isles, discovering new histories, and battling monsters that are lurking in the dark..." He explained. You nodded slowly, putting you in quite an interest.

'It must be nice seeing new things.'
