As the clock ticked, Bella paced around her bedroom. She had double-checked everything in her life and had never done anyone any damage. She fidgeted with her clothes, trying to remember if she had met anyone odd in the last few days.

Anthony appeared as her bedroom door unexpectedly opened. She raced over to him and jumped into his arms. He put his arms tightly around her right away. And kissed her on the forehead. He took her in his arms and felt her warmth.

"I missed you," she said hastily as she kissed his lips. While burying her face in his chest. Her nose was hit by the musky scent of a well-known fragrance. She inhaled deeply and pressed her face against his neck.

"I had missed you as well. I'd been missing you terribly "he exclaimed, panting.

"Bells?"

As he stood there with her wrapped in his arms, he said, "Just let me have this for a minute." He gently stroked her hair with his fingertips. She eventually took a step back.

"Please accept my apologies." Her eyes were filled with regret and remorse.

"Shh!" he said, placing his finger on her lips, effectively silenced her. It wasn't her fault in the least. He was enraged by that jerk.

Anthony sensed she was a little frightened after the previous events. He encircled her with his arms. "You do not need to be concerned about them. Never again will I allow someone to harm you or my child."

Bella pressed her lips on the corner of his mouth.

"I was just a bit afraid of him."

"You're not afraid of me, but you're afraid of some jerk?" Anthony raises his brows.

She gave him a gentle kiss on the chest, precisely where his heart was pumping.

She mumbled in his ear, "Bella can never be afraid of Anthony." While attempting to get away from him.

"You must create a delicious dessert for me. I declined Mira's offer and passed on the chocolate strawberry dessert."

Anthony had no idea what she was referring to. Strange, as usual. But he was willing to grant her every dream.

"Yes. As you wish, my queen "He stated this as she laughed at his antics.

He spent the entire day with her, and when he was sure she was sound asleep, he summoned Alex to investigate the abandoned factory.

Before departing, he came to a halt and kissed her on the forehead. Also, remind Elizabeth to keep an eye on Bella as she sleeps.

Somewhere in the downtown area, near the abandoned factory.

Anthony had a peek around the deserted workplace. It was the location where he and Bella were being called and stalk by the stalker. It was rusted and shattered. Old, broken devices give the impression of being haunted. Who could be responsible for this?

He was accompanied by Alex and Silas.

"Tony?" said a voice from the entranceway.

They turned around to see an old friend they had forgotten about.

"Elijah?" Anthony's expression was icy and stern. He couldn't believe this man was still willing to return.

Shadow smiled softly and sadly. In life, fate can play a significant influence. The passage of time has turned brother into foe. Zachary's best friend was Shadow. Shadow was the son of Robert King's manager, but after his father died, he lived under King's protection. Anthony didn't see him very much, but they were like brothers in some ways.

Shadow's father, on the other hand, had betrayed his father, Robert King. Under the guise of Kings, he had defrauded people out of millions of dollars and commercial deals. Even Robert took command, but Anthony despised him.

Shadow had a sweetheart, however she died as a result of his shady business practises and unlawful activities. He had numerous foes but lacked the power to defend his loved ones. He was despised by Anthony.

Sofia..

She was Shadow's sweetheart and Shadow's girlfriend. But it was because of him that she died. Anthony despised him to his core, yet he remembered the pain and regret in Shadow's eyes.

He was already doing his sentence by being alone in this world without Sofia.

"How is Grandma Elizabeth?" Shadow inquired quietly.

"I'm still missing her," Anthony spat, his voice monotonous.

Elizabeth's granddaughter was Sofia. She had only one granddaughter throughout her entire life. Shadow's method, on the other hand, resulted in the death of an innocent woman.

"Bella's life is in jeopardy. Protect her, or she'll perish as a result of your actions, Anthony." Shadow spoke in hushed tones.

"I'm not you!" Anthony screamed angrily. His mind was filled with rage.

He rushes closer to him, slamming his fist into his jaw. Shadow was knocked to the ground, but he didn't fight back.

Alex took a step forward to prevent Anthony from causing any issues. Silas, though, intervened. Shadow rose to his feet and wiped his cracked, bleeding lips with the palm of his hand.

"Silas!" Shadow was taken aback by the sight of Anthony and Silas together, but he suspected that Anthony was still unaware of Silas' true identity.

But Silas stepped forward. Shadow sighed and let go of him, he took a step away. "After everything, I thought you would know better. You'll get her killed. Even if you are honest business man. You are richer than anyone. Still you are ignoring the fact that you are putting her in danger."

"Stop making comparisons between me and you!" Anthony intends to assassinate him. Shadow's blood was what he desired. How can he accuse him of murdering Bella?

Shadow was kicked in the stomach by Anthony, who lunged at him. When Shadow landed a punch on his side, he stumbled back. Anthony made a swift reflex shift. He punches him in the back as he turns around.

Silas and Alex tried to interrupt, but Anthony stopped them with his hand. It was his shit to begin with.

Shadow's neck was squeezed as his fingers closed around it. When he hit him in the face, his grip slipped.

Shadow coughed for air and remained completely still as Anthony tightened his grip on his neck. With Anthony, he wasn't fighting back. Anthony was suddenly yanked back; he hadn't finished killing that jerk yet.

"Mr. King, come to a halt or he will die." Alex murmured this as he drew Anthony away.

Silas had Shadow down to the ground, his rifle aimed at his face. Shadow was staring at Anthony, his hands pleading for blood.

"Even if I have some enemies who are out there to hurt me or Bella but even if I hit rock bottom. I'll never be like you. " Anthony growled while his eyes burning holes in Shadow's head.

"I still think of you as my brother. And I swear to Zachary, I'll never think of harm you or Bella . But I want you to be alert and clear."

He looks lost in memories, his eyes reflecting pain. "I don't want you be like me Tony," he whispered. "I'm saving you from years of heartache and loneliness.."

Shadow stood wobbly and walked away. Without turning back, Anthony was rooted in his spot. He felt painful stinging in his heart.

" Silas track him and find out how he know about Bella and maybe he have clue who is trying to harm us." he said to Silas.

"Alex, don't let this go out in the open." With his aching heart and memories of bygone days flashing before his eyes, he turned and walked away.

'Zachary'

He hasn't heard his brother's name in a long time.

When Anthony returned home, he went up into Bella's bed and hugged her, promising to keep her safe.

When Anthony was gone the next day and Bella was alone, she decided to find out the gender of the baby.

Bella was a little nervous, but she wanted to do it, despite her beating heart. So she'd given her name as Summer. She had a scheduled visit with Megan today to learn more about her kid. Her palms were sweating and she felt nervous.

"Bella I'm not sure why you're afraid. Everything is going to be alright. "I'm right there with you." Summer gave her reassurance.

"I just want to surprise Anthony," Even though my birthday is coming up in a few days, that's all I have to say. Still, I'd like to offer him a gift." Bella replied as she rose from her bed.

Summer entered her room and placed her hand behind her back. "They're not going to hurt you."

"Summer is someone I am familiar with. It's simply that I'm concerned about the baby "Bella whispered faintly, her palm protectively placed on her tummy.

"Don't worry, Bella, everything is alright. It's nothing more than an ultrasound." Summer gave her reassurance. She was very aware of Bella's anxiety as she was anticipating new experiences.

"You are correct. After all, it's Megan. And Harry is in good health." Bella was finally at ease.

"Yep! And you'll be enthusiastic about it. It's all in good humour." Both of them exchanged smiles.

Summer was at the wheel, and Bella was in the passenger seat.

"I recall Nathaniel being taken aback when he first viewed Harry's sonogram. At the time, I was four months pregnant."

Bella grinned as she gazed out the window. Since the last six months, a lot has changed. She was ecstatic about all of the changes. She hadn't seen Anthony in a long time. Today he didn't give her a morning kiss.

"Oh! Do you miss your hubby, dearest? "Summer teased as she made a left turn off the highway.

"I'm not one of them. However, I'm only pondering stuff."

Summer clasped her hand in hers and said, "Don't worry." "I'll be right there with you; you'll be OK."

Bella gave her a reassuring look with her remarks.

Bella smiled a little. "I understand."

They laughed as they drove away from the house, heading for the hospital.

"It's hard to realise that you and Anthony will be parents in just seven months." Summer took a deep breath.

Bella said, "Hard to believe." "I'll be a mother soon, and Tony will be a father."

Summer grinned and said, "Mommy and daddy."

Bella, on the other hand, was still feeling guilty. She needs to speak with Anthony, and it could be time to inform their parents of her pregnancy.

They entered the municipal hospital and proceeded to the elevator by walking through the doors. The department where ultrasounds are performed is located on the third floor.

(a/n: I have no idea how this works in a hospital; I'm simply going off of Gray's Anatomy and other shows/Movie's.)

They climbed the stairs to the third floor and approached the receptionist's desk.

Summer was greeted with a smile by the receptionist "Hello, Summer! What's up with Harry?"

"Kayden Harry is in good health. We've come to see my friend for an ultrasound. We made an appointment with Dr. Megan Vermillion."

While clicking on her computer, she grinned at them.

"Here it is," she confirmed. "When doctor Megan, is ready, I'll call you. Mrs. King, I wish you the best of luck."

Bella gave her a shy smile and said, "Thank you." She smiled, oblivious to her nervousness.

"On your birthday, I'm sure Anthony will throw a celebration to remember. I'm sure your wedding will be publicised. He'll make you feel like royalty." Summer gave her a wink.

"He always treats me like a queen; after all, he is Anthony King, the King of Kings. To the rest of the world, he is always cold and harsh, but with me he is always fun and adorable." Bella reacted sarcastically.

When Kayden, the receptionist at the counter, spoke up, they were both giggling.

"Doctor Megan is ready for you, Mrs. King," she said.

The receptionist remarked, "Room number 18, best of luck to you all." They entered the room through the swinging doors.

It was a little room with bright blue walls and a white ceiling. There was one of those hospital beds with a large machine and TV screen, as well as a few chairs.

Bella sat on the bed, while Summer sat in one of the chairs.

Summer rubbed her hand soothingly.

"What's up with my favourite girl? I can tell Tony is treating you like a princess." Megan entered the room a minute later.

Megan gave her a friendly nod and said, "Hello Summer."

"Hello," she said with a smile.

She extended her hand. "It's your first time becoming a mommy. So you must feel worried or apprehensive, but that's fine."

She gave a kind smile. "'Bella!' You're 16 weeks pregnant. Are you having any issues or are you concerned about anything?"

With a shake of her head, Bella expressed her dissatisfaction with the situation. "No."

Snickers for the summer, "Megan! She is apprehensive about the ultrasound."

Bella locked her gaze on her. Traitor.

Megan gave a sympathetic grin. "Ah, I see. I'm not going to injure you or anything, honey. I simply need you to tell me the truth so I can make sure you and the baby are fine. Okay? The sooner we do this, the sooner you'll be able to leave."

Bella looked at Summer, who greeted her with a kind smile.

"Well," Bella said cautiously. "Even when I wasn't pregnant with a baby, I ate a lot." And I'm still not sick in the morning."

"Headache is entirely natural, and morning sickness affects each lady differently. Some women stop getting it after a month of pregnancy and never have it again, while others get it on a regular basis. It differs from person to person." Megan answers.

Summer smiled and nodded. "I get fatigued as well."

"That's also very natural."

"As long as it's not something nasty," Bella said.

Megan gave her a friendly grin.

"Thank you, God, I'm going to be an elephant." Bella made a joking remark.

"You are a blessing to King's household," Megan joked.

Megan rubbed the gel thing for ultrasounds on her stomach while lifting up her blouse.

Bella shivered a little. "It's freezing!"

"It's all right?" Megan and Bella exchanged smiles. Megan had a sly grin on her face. Bella laughs even harder as a result.

"What?" Summer burst out laughing. She was startled when she noticed Megan pointing at her.

"Could you please turn off the lights, Summer?" Megan had inquired. She took a step forward and switched the switch. "Thank you so much. Now, Bella, I need you to unwind, okay? "I'm going to slide this wand thing around on your stomach."

Bella nodded and Megan typed a few keys on the keyboard, which switched on the screen. It appeared to be complicated.

She placed the wand on her stomach and gently pushed it around. Bella sighed and massaged her eyes.

"I'm hoping nothing's wrong," Bella said hesitantly as she took her time.

"No, no, nothing's wrong. I'm only looking for- Ah! Megan yelled, "There it is... HOLY HELL!"

Something was wrong, Bella froze. Her heart sank as she wondered what was wrong.

"It's twins!" exclaims Megan.

Eh?

TWINS?

Summer got up and walked over to her side to have a better view of the television. "What exactly is it?"

She grinned as she said, "Your both infants feet." Bella exclaimed as she got a closer look. She could see the little toes of infants.

"Oh my gosh," Bella exclaimed, stunned. "I saw tiny toes!" exclaims the narrator.

Megan pointed to the television and said, "And there's the head."

Megan exhaled deeply and said, "Bella." "Those are two gorgeous tiny babies."

Bella was going to surprise Anthony by showing him a picture of the baby ultrasound when she received a pleasant surprise.

Wow, twins.

"One is a boy, whereas the other is a girl." Megan's eyes were filled with emotion.

"I'm going to name my baby Zachary." Bella whispered in hushed tones.

"Huh?" Megan went very still.

"Having Zachary in my life is a privilege."

"Thank you so much for your amazing gift."

Megan grinned as tears streamed down her cheeks.

They return their gaze to the TV. "It's really adorable!"

Summer said, "I can't believe that's inside you right now." "Wow, that's incredible."

Bella's pupils dilated. "Is that...?"

"Sound of a baby's heartbeat. Really?" The doctor smiled as Bella nodded. "It certainly is."

Bella exclaimed, "Wow."

"How about a name for a baby girl?" Anthony had desired a baby girl and had chosen Ava." Bella was taken aback.

"Oh, the naming is going to be the best part," Megan told her. "I already have lots."

She finished up with the ultrasound and asked a few more questions before helping her sit up again. She handed Bella a pamphlet. "This will help."

"Thanks," Bella said gratefully as she took it.

"No problem at all. You're free to go now; call me if anything happens or you have any questions. I know it's ok it's your first time after all," she replied.

Megan pushed open the door. "Come back for a check-up in two months."

"That sounds promising. Thank you one more, "Bella remarked. Megan expressed her gratitude as well. She walked away with a nod.

Megan took out the picture frame of Zachary and herself from high school prom. She smiled and said," Even you are not here your essence still staying with me somehow. "

Summer handed  the keys and said, "You can go wait in the car while I book you an appointment."

When Bella returned to the main lobby, she noticed a young boy, around seven years old, holding a stuffed puppy.

When he noticed her, he grabbed his mother's arm. "Look, Mom, she's having a baby just like you!"

"Shh, Zach," his mother said quietly before looking at her and apologising. "Please accept my apologies. He's really overjoyed that he'll have another brother."

Bella comforted her, "It's not an issue."

He nodded, "Oh." "All right, miss!"

Bella stood up once more. "I'm sorry about my son again," his mother explained, "he likes to ask questions."

"It's not a big deal. I'd rather be asked questions than glared at, which is exactly what I've gotten "Bella informed her.

She gave her a sympathetic glance. "Honey, you're going to be OK. Have faith in me."

"Thank you," Bella said, a little smile on her face.

She patted her shoulder and followed Zach out the door.

"Hey, who was that?" Summer inquired as she approached Bella from behind.

"I only saw a small child and his mother, but I'd seen her previously, and this kid was in a wheelchair the last time I saw him. Perhaps they didn't recognise me "Bella remarked.

Bella kept the ultrasound images of the twins in her purse. She'll give it to him on her birthday this weekend. She was overjoyed to receive this present.
