Silas expected the day would come when he would have to expose his true identity, but he didn't expect it to be this way.

Silas directed his men to stand outside and guard the property.

It was just him and William in the living room now.

"I sincerely regret meeting you in this manner, Mr. Clive."

"It's fine, but have we met?" Silas was giving William an uneasy sensation.

"For the time being, please know that I am protecting Mr. King and that my intentions for Anna are pure." He wasn't sure if he'd be able to comprehend it.

"Isn't it true that you're Alexander's child? Now I recall. Try not to deceive me, kid. Back then, I was raising Anna, Tony, and a few more rambunctious wild kid. So you can't fool me easily."

When Silas heard William, he froze for a second.

I've come to clear the decks of the past. There were a lot of things that didn't make sense." Silas was relieved to see William sitting so comfortably.

"Anna had no recollection of that dark, awful night." I don't want her to remember anything from the past, so I'll make sure she doesn't. Ok." Silas was the son of one of the best bodyguards they had in the past, so William knew he saw him somewhere.

" DAD!! "

Anna's voice came from the entrance, and she barged in before Silas could react.

" We were unable to stop her, so please accept our apologies."

Jackson took a deep breath and swallowed it. But, before anything could happen to him, he noticed Silas's fearful expression.

Fear of losing someone close to you.

Anna is aware of the military presence on the outskirts of her home. But that didn't matter to her; she received a call from her doctor, informing her that Anthony had been injured, and she arrived right away.

Silas appeared out of nowhere, and she was taken aback when she saw him in his captain's outfit, with the gun and everything.

She had thought her lover was charming, shy, and introverted up until now, but suddenly he was commanding a squad of skilled troops.

He didn't say anything, but Anthony was her top priority right now.

"What went wrong with him. Is he all right?"

"He is being examined by doctors. There was no serious injury, only a cut around his arm and a small bruise on his head. Don't be concerned, munchkin." William affectionately patted her back.

He sense the tension between the two love birds and left the living room to give them some privacy.

"I'm going to dial Nathaniel's number. So he can make sure Bella is okay and that she isn't aware of Anthony's existence."

Silas reached for Anna's hand as she sat on the couch next to him.

"Sorry for the inconvenience. I should have informed you about my job." Anna was often caustic and taunting people, so he never imagined she could be so serious.

"I'm at a loss for words. Isn't it true that falling in love wasn't part of your plan? Don't tell anyone. I'm one of your mission. Oh, my goodness!!" She isn't interested in knowing if she was his objective or purpose during the mission, but she really loves him.

She got up and walked over to the window to get some fresh air because she was feeling stuffy.

Silas took off his helmet and laid his weapon on the coffee table. He approached her from behind and hugged her from behind, his arms wrapped around her waist and his chin resting on her right shoulder.

"You are more significant to me, and my life is yours. I swear to God, I never lied about my affections for you, Anna. I am genuinely concerned about you.

I was at a loss for words when it came to describing myself. I was terrified you were going to abandon me." He touched her cheeks and turned her face.

"I've never dated a woman. You are the one and only person in my life. I won't be able to bring you roses or chocolates, but I will always love and care for you. This time, just trust me. I'll never lie to you, and I've never lied to anyone else." He said in a soft and genuine voice.

Anna finally understood why he was usually so active and lively. He was prepared to combat the enemy at all hours of the day and night. He was saying the truth, she knew. While Anthony's safety was paramount at the time, dispelling uncertainty was crucial to their connection.

"You would like to meet my team," he remarked softly. She was on the verge of melting on the floor by his adorable expressions.

"Sure," she said as she grabbed his vest and pulled his face towards her, softly kissing him. Her arms around his neck and softly playing with his hairs playfully. His arms secured around her waist smoothly.

"Let's go," he said, his grip tightening around her.

"Guys!! This is a really serious protocol. Ms. Anna Clive is someone you should get to know. She is an extremely essential person in my life. Meet my team, Anna."

"Don't be so stiff. Jeez!!" Anna slammed her fist into his chest.

"Uhh!!" Jackson let out a gasp. He was concerned for Anna, but Silas, to his surprise, seemed unconcerned. If they stay on her good side, their captain may show pity to them.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Clive." Jackson gave her a friendly smile. It was a full-fledged smile, yet his other members were gazing down, much to his astonishment. Silas was staring at him as he looked up.

Damn!! He hadn't intended it that way. Captain was a jealous possessive alpha male, which he had no idea about.

"Stop glaring at him." Anna pushed Silas lightly. He frowned at her but did not say anything.

"Keep guarding the place." he orders and took Anna back to her apartment. Her being here wasn't safe for her.

Nathaniel got a call from William and Bella was passed out in the bed. Bruce carried her to Summer's room.

After this incident the security has been doubled. Summer was so scared that she didn't let go Bella anywhere.

Bella awoke after one hour. She had no idea what was going on, but she couldn't stop thinking about Anthony. She couldn't stand up to her pals. She, on the other hand, desired to chase Anthony.

Bruce was aware that Anthony was in the ER, but he stayed to ensure Bella's safety.

Bruce assured her that he would be OK. After all, he was Anthony King.

With a sigh, she entered the guest room. When Summer arrived, it was accompanied with warm milk and cookies.

"Sweetie, drink this and you'll be OK," she continued, as if she were speaking to a five-year-old child.

"However, he needs me Sum.." Bella was fighting back tears, but she wanted to be there for him after seeing him for so long.

"Don't worry, Nathaniel is working on finding out where he is. Do you wish to speak with Robert?" Summer sensed Bella's aversion to speaking with her father, and Layla was understanding. As a result, Robert was her closest relative.

"No, I don't want it to be known that I humiliated Anthony in front of a large group of people at the party. He is concerned about his family's reputation and name. If I stain it, he'll kill me."

When she remembered his threats and taunting, she chuckled regretfully.

She finished her drink and ate all of the cookies. She didn't want to worry Summer by telling her that it wasn't good for the baby. She smiled softly, like if everything was fine.

"I'm exhausted. Anthony has to be fine. What can happen to a hell devil, right? "She pretended to yawn.

Summer smiled and kissed her forehead.

"Sleep tight. If you need anything call me." Summer tucked her inside the duvet and came to her room. Nathan was researching about the accident.

He was looking at the CCTV camera and frowned when he saw a hooded guy which had tampered with Anthony's car in the parking area.

He frowned. Someone has intentionally tried to hurt Anthony.

" Did you get anything?" Summer asked. He suddenly slammed shut his laptop. He didn't want Summer to mix into this. He needs to find the culprit and make sure mud face King was ok. He still laughs over their nicknames.

"How is her acting?" he asked about Bella.

"Terrible as always though it was sweet she didn't want to stress me but I had mixed sleeping pill in the milk because I know Bella McCain love to run away from house in the night time." they both embrace each other. Who wants to ruin their happiness.
