Silas awoke at twelve o'clock in the morning. When he looked around when his phone was ringing, he noticed he was sleeping on Anna's lap and she was dozing off on the couch next to him.

He took out his phone and shifted her head into a more natural position.

"Hello," he remarked as he approached the balcony.

"Captain! We were able to track the movement of target X."

"Prepare the crew and keep the headquarters in the dark. I'll take care of it myself." He clenched his teeth and shook his head.

"After such a long time. He finally showed up and made the error."

"Anna, I'm leaving. Good night." He took her in his arms and nestled her into bed. She slid over to the other side. He kissed her on the forehead with a smile.

"You don't have to work very hard to catch my attention. I'm already on my knees waiting for you." He muttered softly, picking up his jacket and silently closing the door behind him.

He went over the message once more.

"This evening, Anthony King will be assassinated."

Anthony was staring at her with a blank expression on his face. He didn't want her to know that he was the one who had stolen her first kiss.

He felt awful about it, but he was envious of her with that person at the moment. He wanted to make a claim on her.

As a result, he had taken advantage of the blackout. He had put his mother's necklace around her neck during the kiss.

That's why his heart constricted with need whenever she played with it. It was a token from her ex boyfriend, in her view.

However, he is the exception. His most valuable possession is his mother's memories.

He had given her something. It is customary in the King family to pass it down to the King's daughter-in-law. When his father discovered the pendant was missing, he went insane. But it was well worth it.

Summer fixed her gaze on Bella. She was, however, helpless. Bella was unconcerned. She was just aware of her surroundings at the time.

Alex makes a bottle spin. Between Nathaniel and Anthony, it came to a halt. Both of them exchanged glances. They are both tense, and Bella can sense it. What's the matter with these two right now?

He asked, "So, mud brain truth or dare?"

"You jerkhead, dare you." Anthony locked his gaze on his. Nathaniel smirked devilishly.

"I'm a musician, so I dare you to sing a song," he said, referring to Anthony King, the great cold and mighty. He was not going to do it. It was a violation of his rules.

Bruce was a happy man. These jerks have no idea Anthony was a fantastic vocalist who sang at their graduation ceremony. He was well aware that his pal had been pinned for his one-sided affection. But after seeing Bella's pendant, I'm not so sure. After marriage, he realised she wasn't his forced love.

She was the girl he had always had a crush on. Many girls fawned over him in college, but he didn't give them a second glance.

Anthony stood up and drank the rest of his drink. Everyone was looking forward to it.

He snatched a microphone from the MC. He requests that the DJ play the instrumental of his choosing.

Anthony disliked being in the spotlight for doing stuff like this. Tonight, though, was different. He noticed her embracing another guy since he returned, and then those moans of pleasure as she was eating.

Oh, my God! Something monstrous had awakened in him. He still despised the notion that she had the ability to weaken him.

He planned to perform a song about his affections for her. She was his inspiration and motivation to live.

He had no interest in music or entertainment, but whatever she liked, he kept adding to his favourites list.

So he planned to perform it tonight. What an anguish it is, and it perfectly portrays his position. He'll do it for the girl who made him fall in love with one glimpse. Even though he was young at the time, it was love at first sight. But he had a feeling she was the one. A girl who stole his heart a few years ago and continues to do so.

Everyone present had known Anthony for a long time, after careful thought. However, they were never informed that he was a vocalist. His lovely voice had the girls melting and the boys enthralled.

He usually had a chilly, distant expression on his face, making it impossible to believe he could even sing a love song.

It was more like a regal confession from the monarch himself. Nobody dared to take a breath since they were all fixated on him. This was a breathtaking moment.

In that moment, a flashback to those days flashed through his mind, and he remembered the way she grinned and pouted. He never said anything, but his gaze was always drawn to her from afar. During debate and events, he visited her school a few times. He took part because it gave him another chance to see her.

Anthony recalled the period when he had wished to attend the same high school as his mother and had only told his older brother Zachary about her after his mother's untimely death. He hid his aspirations and desires.

He had to mature. He shut every door and ascended to the throne of King Empire. Despite the fact that he had always wanted to be a photographer or do something else enjoyable.

However, his innocence was snatched from him.

However, he was able to see her on special occasions such as birthdays and business meetings. He was grateful that her father always brought her, as she was the only daughter.

Bruce was the only one in college who knew he had a crush on a girl. However, they grew preoccupied with their business courses.

He had considered the entire world as his enemy at the time, and he had just her on his mind. Everything was worth it because of his love for her.

When he discovered she had a boyfriend. He despised it but was unable to stop it. He was unable to ask her to accompany him.

Even though Bella was his entire universe, she has no interest in him. He was a complete stranger to her.

He was one of those kids that was always there, but she was never the same. Society's rules are being bent.

He didn't have a choice but to live by society's laws and regulations. But she gave up her opulence and wealth to live a simple and impoverished life.

He's still perplexed as to why. But it's possible that was one of the reasons he fell for her and continues to fall for her.

It wasn't that he didn't love her at the time; it was just that if he didn't see her, he could forget about her.

He still misjudged her allure and exaggerated his resolve.

He had always been hurt at the deaths of his brother and mother since he was a child. Wendy was still a young girl. He grew up cold, crude, and unconcerned about people, but it was all a coping mechanism.

And she was proof that he was still powerless to defend himself.

He resembled an abandoned lover who was lamenting the loss of his love. The guilt and pain are palpable to all.

What was it, exactly? But nothing was lovely the way he went about it.

Anthony felt vulnerable, as if his heart was spilling out in the open. He didn't dare to look her in the eyes the entire time. But, after all of his suffering, he was eager to see. He can't say he blames her; it was the route he had chosen.

He clenched his grasp on the microphone, attempting to repress his emotions and project a cool demeanour. He finished nicely with a clear pitch at the end.

I found myself smiling, then I found myself thinking of you

I tried not to cry, but tears still broke through

I always asked myself could it be true?

Or is this just a one off thing

I've never admitted this to anyone, not even you

The room became silent with his final words.

No one said anything, not even a single sound.

It was as quiet as if the room was empty at that time. It's just him and her. Their gazes were fixed on one other.

Bella was in a bad mood. It's excruciating. She wants to hug him. Bury his head in her neck to keep him hidden from the rest of the world. He appeared fragile and depressed. All of the despair, all of the fight. Her own heart was filled with sadness.

It irritated Anthony. But Liam grabbed Bella and she was chatting to him before she could say anything.

She KISSED HIS CHEEK with a smile.

Anthony was still in pain after all of this. He was embarrassed and defeated. It's inconvenient.

"Before Mr. King leaves the party, we need to be there. It will finish around 3 p.m. and begin around 1 p.m. As a result, we just had two hours to cover the site and deal with Melon. Okay."

"Melon Mosby has been seen near the hotel where the party is now taking place." They then abandoned the base without informing their superiors.

This was something he wanted to deal with on his own.

"Mr. Wonton, I've locked the target, and he'll die tonight."

"Wonderful Melon. If Anthony King died today, I'll thank you for your good work." Both of them laughed in a frightening manner.

Anthony's car had been tampered with by him. He snipped his brake wire and yanked out a few nuts.

Wonton's best assassin was Melon, but his number one assassin was Shadow, who wasn't accessible at the time.

"Are you aware that I'm considering becoming gay?" My heart races just by glancing at him. He's a real gem. And now that you've abandoned me for someone like him, I'm content." Liam has a sad expression on his face, but he managed to make her laugh by stating he would become gay for Anthony, like he always does.

"Thank you," he said, and she realised it was his way of saying goodbye. He was releasing her and bestowing his gifts.

She couldn't believe what she was hearing. She regretted breaking up with him, but the terrible sentiments were no longer present. She felt a wave of comfort rush over her. She kissed him on the cheek to express her gratitude.

She was about to speak with Anthony when she realised he had already left.

Lisa, the bitch , appeared out of nowhere.

"WHY WERE YOU STARING AT MY BABY ANTHONY? WTF?? "she enquired.

Oh, this is going to be a lot of fun. She threw her ring finger in front of her face.

" Sorry for the inconvenience! What a jerk I was for not properly introducing myself." She pressed her ring finger to her cheek.

"My name is Bella Anthony King," she says.

Anthony was nowhere to be found when she checked the area.

She was at ease, but where had he gone? She vowed to beat the living daylights out of that jerk. He dared to abandon her.

Curse you,  he'll devil.

As the darkness around him engulfed him, Anthony was driving. His thoughts were jumbled. She continued to pin for her ex.

When that scenario flashed before his eyes, he was on the verge of passing out. He didn't want to see her and that person have another romantic moment. His hold on the steering wheel became even tighter. But he couldn't ignore the terror and fear in her voice.

All of a sudden, his phone rang which was connected to the Bluetooth.
"Hello?" The number on the screen was unfamiliar to him.

"You must exit the vehicle, sir," the speaker stated hurriedly.

"Who?" He was a little taken aback. Someone was playing a prank on him in the middle of the night. He, on the other hand, was not in the mood.

"Is that you, Bruce? I'll be at William's residence. Don't even think about messing with me." He then hung up the phone.

He was going as fast as he could.

"Fuck!!" When Anthony stopped his call, Silas slammed the remote control radio shut. He did, however, mention going to William's house, as in Anna's father's house.

He has to expose himself to Anna's father like this?

Damn.

When William's phone rang, he was still in the middle of his task.

"Anna?" He didn't look up the caller's name on the phone.

"Sir! It's critical that you pay attention to what I'm saying. Mr. Anthony's life is in jeopardy. You must make every effort to contact him. We're attempting to locate him. Sir, I beg your pardon."

William abruptly up from his study table.

"Can you tell me who you are?"

"Rodriguez, Captain! Sir, you can put your faith in me. This isn't a joke."

"OK." William quickly removed his glasses and dashed outside to find Anthony. He dialled his number but was unable to reach him.

"Anthony, please stay safe." If Anthony has an accident, William knows he won't be able to take him to the local public hospital. As a result, he activates the doctors' team on standby.

Anthony was driving with a heavy heart when he observed a truck approaching from the opposite direction, whirling his steering and attempting to apply the brakes. But, to his surprise, his car did not come to a halt.

"What?" He was going full throttle. Now he realised it wasn't a prank call he had received previously.

He gave the order to call William. When his phone rang, William answered it immediately.

"Kid!! Where have you gone?" He seemed to be in a panic.

"Near your house, near the flyover. However, "His voice was abruptly cut off, and a clash could be heard on the other end of the phone.

Silas and his team arrived within two minutes, and William was also present.

While attempting to evade the approaching bus, Anthony's automobile collided with a pole on the road. He was suffocating and unresponsive.

"Kid!" William was going insane. Silas remained composed under this scenario. He was aware of William, but he did not say anything. His major concern was Anthony's safety.

"Medical assistance is available." Four people came to Anthony's aid right away.

"Please bring him to my residence. I have a lot of medical support here, but we can't place him in a public hospital. It would be chaotic if this goes out the only heir of King's was in an accident." William said.

"Ok" Silas nodded in understanding.

They drove Anthony to the Clive mansion. He sustained a brain injury. His chest and right arm were injured by screen glass, he was unconscious. His tests and findings were being examined by doctors.

In the living room, William sat with Silas and a few of his companions.

"So you're someone I know?" Silas caught William's attention. He had the impression that he had seen him before.

Silas removed his helmet and his comrades's expressions were bewildered. It wasn't the Captain's way of doing things.

"You're dating my crazy punk daughter,"

When William first saw him, he was taken aback. He was the same person Anna had sent him a few days before.

And then there was silence.

Even though Silas was attempting to prevent it, the nuclear bomb was dropped.

Bella was angry that Anthony left. She was about to go out when Nathaniel's phone rang and his expressions darkened. Her heart skipped a beat. She turned immediately that her pendant stuck on the decorative light and fell in the ground.

She picked it up and tied it around her neck. It was the first time her necklace fell on the ground like a falling star.

But now she knows this pendant belongs to Anthony's late mother.

Just be safe Anthony. She was in mess.

"Bruce we need to go." Nathaniel said. "Summer keep Bella safe and don't let her out of the room."

"What happened?" Bella asked.

"Anthony was in accident currently he has been examined." Before he could say more Bella was frozen and darkness took over her as she passed out.

"BELLLAA" Summer tried to hold her but she's not able to due ro her pregnancy so Bruce carried her out of the party from back door  avoided the press and paparazzi, reporters. With others following behind him.
