I woke up very happily, the ball last night ended smoothly. Especially when I saw Yoongi and Jimin coming of a room holding hands, though the two princesses were glaring at me the rest of the night...

This time, I woke up to Jungkook next to me.

"Your majesty..." I stroked his cheek, admiring his charming face.

Yes, it was very creepy that I was doing this while he was sleeping but I couldn't help it!

I got up and looked at the clock, 5:45 AM.

Ah, the princesses and I were supposed to meet today! I rushed to get ready and head into the kitchen. But before I did, I kissed Jungkook's forehead while he was still fast sleep.

"Your highness!" The chef and the other workers bowed to me.

"Is it alright if I occupy the kitchen for a while? I'll be sure to return the kitchen to you in a few hours!" I smiled.

"Your highness! Of course it is alright, there's no need for you to ask!" The chef clapped in joy.

"Great! Please have the day off, I'll handle the meals from here!" I said.

The workers bowed and left the kitchen.

Now I wait.

5:55 AM

6:00 AM

6:05-

"Ugh this is disgusting!" Jieun gagged at the fish lying on the table as they came in.

"I thought you girls said you weren't coming?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Whatever, we just came for the candy. Just be honored that we're here." Minji rolled her eyes.

I laughed and smirked.

"Well we have a little tiny change of plans."

"Ugh what is it." Jieun crossed her arms.

"We're cooking breakfast for the Royal family and then we'll make it bread and sweets!" I cheerfully said.

"WHAT?!?!" The two girls shouted.

"Heyy, it'll be fun! Today we're making ___!"

"No. We are not-"

"Okay fine." Minji cut Jieun off.

Jieun glared at Minji.

"Great! Let's start by Jieun cutting those and Minji, you wash these." I directed them.

"Excuse me? I'm a PRINCESS! Princesses don't do work." Jieun complained

"So you'd rather be useless and not know how to do anything? Princesses should be able to be dependent on themselves as shouldn't rely on someone else." I shooed her away to go do her work.

6:45 AM

It's been almost 45 minutes and there's been some progress. Except when I tried to keep a conversation, they both ignored me.

"Now, onto the bread and sweets!" I clasped my hands together after seeing we finished the breakfast meals.

"More work?!" Jieun fell down onto a chair that was seated in the corner of the kitchen.

"Jieun, let's get this done and over with." Minji pulled her up.

They act like I forced them to do this, they can actually leave whenever they want. They chose to do this and I'm proud of it.

"Alrighty! Jieun, flour! Minji, eggs!"

"Why are you just standing there? Why don't you do some work too!" Jieun scowled at me.

"I have been making these since I was 4, that was plenty of work. I'm sure you can handle an hour of this on your own." I shrugged.

Jieun clenched the flour that was on the table out of anger and threw it at me.

"JEON JIEUN!!!" I screamed

I grabbed the bag of flour and threw some at Jieun, I laughed at her powdery figure.

"DID YOU JUST-" Jieun was then cut off with the sound of an egg cracking...

On her head.

Jieun turned around to see Minji with the remains of the cracked egg.

"M-Minji...YOU TRAITOR!" Jieun took the flour and dumped it onto Minji.

Minji then took the fish that was lying on the table and slapped Jieun with it.

"OH YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR THAT!" Jieun shouted.

As the food fight went on, we laughed and giggled.

"HAHAHA YOU LOOK LIKE A GHOST!" Jieun said while pointing at my body which was full of flour.

"Don't act like you look any better!" I snorted while looking at her up and down.

"Guys, we only have a few minutes left till breakfast starts and we didn't even start on the bread and sweets." Minji rolled her eyes.

"Hmm let's do that tomorrow. Let's clean ourselves up and get the rest of the food we made out onto the table." I said while pointing towards the food we made beforehand.

"Tomorrow? Oh there will be no tomorrow, there's no way I'm doing work again!" Jieun crossed her arms.

"We'll come! Now let's go set the table!" Minji smiled.

Jieun groaned as she'll do anything with Minji.

After we cleaned ourselves and the kitchen up, the maids hesitantly helped us set the food on the table. We asked the butler (Namjoon) to bring everyone to eat. Including Jungkooks mom and dad...

So far, my parents, Jungkook, and Jimin have arrived to the table.

"Wow this food looks delicious!" My mother exclaimed.

Suddenly, the atmosphere tensed as Jungkooks mother and father arrived.

"What are the peasants doing here?" Jungkooks mother looked at me and my parents disgusted.

Ever since me and my parents moved in, they stopped coming to this side of the palace and isolated themselves on the other side of the palace. It was easy to do that since the palace is huge. Though this time, Namjoon had lied to them saying we weren't here.

"Please, everyone have a seat! Let's use this time to get to know each other since we're all gonna be a family soon." Jungkook winked at me.

I blushed as I sat down, with the two princesses both sitting next to me. Once we all started digging in, silence arose.

And I decided to break it.

"Me and the two princesses cooked this food today."

Jimin choked on his food.

"What? You forced them to work with their own hands?!" Jungkook's father angrily raised his voice.

"I didn't force them, it was their own choice. I simply suggested it." I wiped my mouth with a napkin lightly.

"It was lot of fun! We even threw food at each other!" Minji smiled.

Jungkooks mother and father gasped.

"How dare you force them to do that!" Jungkooks mother glared at me.

"Mother. Let this meal be peaceful." Jungkook gritted his teeth.

My parents on the other hand were quietly in their spots, watching all the drama go down. It was like they had front row seats to their favorite show.

Jungkook's father cleared his throat.

"So when will this wedding be?" He asked

I choked on my meal.

"Next month." Jungkook said calmly.

NEXT MONTH?!

I coughed crazily and choked on my meal even more. How could they say this so calmly?

Jungkook's mother breathed in and out.

"Listen, we cannot approve this marriage. Cancel it and marry princess Naeun, that way the people will trust you more and she's much better than this peasant." She clenched her fists.

"Mother!" Jungkook stood up angrily.

"How dare you-" my mother was about to say something but my father calmed her down.

"Oppa, I approve." Jieun said.

"Me too, me too! I approve of unnie!" Minji smiled happily.

I smiled as I knew that I captured the hearts of the two princesses. Jungkook raised his eyebrow at me, curious as to how I did it.

"The two princesses approve? I approve this marriage as well." Jimin smiled

"Oh how could we not approve." My mother said.

"Wether you two approve of the marriage or not, Y/n will be my wife." Jungkook stood up and glared at his parents as he left.

I blushed as I stood up as well and followed Jungkook.

"How could they be so evil? Why can't they just accept my choices." Jungkook said as he entered our shared room.

I placed my hand over his as we sat onto the bed.

"Jungkook-ah, you said our wedding is next month. You didn't even discuss that with me." I said softly.

"I know, I just...want you to be mine quickly already." Jungkook squeezed my hand.

I smiled at him and pecked his nose.

"I'm already yours." I giggled.
