"Hoseok, buy every single piece of bread that this beautiful young lady has dropped." Jungkook said

"Huh?" I was confused as to why the KING was acting like this.

"Jungkook, what are you doing!" The princess next to Jimin had asked while stepping up.

"It is your majesty, not Jungkook. You dare question your king? Hoseok, I will not say it again, do not just stand there." Jungkook said sternly

"Y-Yes your majesty!"

Hoseok tried to count all the pieces that fell to pay but was soon yelled at.

"Are you stupid?! Just pay her a thousand you idiot!" Jungkook sighed

"N-No need your majesty, it doesn't cost that much!" I held my head down low as I held my scraped arm.

It wasn't bleeding a lot but holding it helped soothe my self. Just a little blood was on my arm from being pushed too hard but nothing serious.

"Pay her and take her to the royal doctor." Jungkook hopped back on his horse as Hoseok helped me stand up.

"I'm fine, I don't need a doctor. A bandaid will do just fine." I picked up my baskets to leave.

"I order you to go to the royal doctor. Are you going against the king's order?" Jungkook smirked

I sighed and Hoseok started to walk me to a horse that had been also walking in the parade.

This guy is starting to really annoy me, like I'm working right now!

"I'll take her to the doctor." A voice said.

We all look towards the owner of the voice in shock.

"Hoseok is needed to be beside you at all times. This parade is a bit out of my style anyway." Jimin said grabbing my wrist.

Jungkook looked at him suspiciously but agreed. I look all around me and see many people scowling at me, both male and female, except the princess who just looked sad and upset. Especially the girl from earlier was glaring daggers at me.

Jimin hopped on the horse and held out his hand for me to get on. I took it and though it was difficult with my knees and arms being hurt, I set myself behind him. He soon rode the horse to the palace.

~

The whole ride to the palace was silent, not a single word was spoken. Jimin gets off first and held his hand out again. Once again, I took it and carefully jumped off the horse. The guards stepped aside from the gate and let us in knowing Jimin is the prince.

We walked inside the palace, none of us even glanced at each other. I held my head down as I followed the sound of his footsteps. I was still holding my arm as it hurt a lot.

"Get me the royal doctor." Jimin told a maid.

She bowed and quickly scurried away. He sat me on a couch that looked like it cost twice the amount of my house. Jimin looked around to see if anyone was here. Luckily, no one.

"I-I'm sorry." Jimin sat on the couch in front of me and looked down to his feet in shame.

"Your highness, why are you apologizing?" I asked.

"See! You called me your highness! You never called me that until now! I'm sorry that I didn't do anything to help you when you fell in front of all those people, I feel ashamed of my behavior! I'm truly sorry Y/n, I-I just couldn't bring myself to move." Jimin buried his face into his hands.

I limped to where Jimin was sitting and kneeled in front of him. I took his hand out of his face and saw his face full of sadness and guilt.

"There's nothing to be apologizing for. I'm a lowly commoner and you're the prince. Wouldn't it be reasonable to keep our friendship a secret? I would also be ashamed and embarrassed of myself if I were you. I'm used to it anyways, we should start to keep distance." I laughed

Jimin looked up desperately.

"No! I'm not embarrassed of you! I-I just... Anyways, you shouldn't be used to it! This whole ranking system is stupid, it shouldn't exist! If I were the king I would get rid of the ranking and make you my qu-"

"Your highness, I heard I am needed." Seokjin interrupted Jimin.

"Not anymore." Jimin grumbled under is breath.

"Uh, yes. This young lady here has injured her body, I ask you to check on her." Jimin pointed to my bleeding knee.

"It's not that bad, you make it sound like I got in a fight with a lion." I rolled my eyes.

The royal doctor furrowed his eyebrows. Confused as to why a girl dressed as a homeless person talking informally to the prince.

"No need to act as if you care Jin hyung, let's all just relax since there's no one here except us." Jimin said.

"So I assume this young lady is your girlfriend?" Seokjin started putting ointment on my "wounds"

"Um no. Haha, I'm a low ranker if you can't tell." I scratched the back of my neck nervously.

"Then tell me why the hell did Jimin bring you here? I've known Jimin since he was a baby and I'm for sure he wouldn't bring just anyone to the castle." Seokjin laughed

"Shut up and focus on healing her Seokjin." Jimin rolled his eyes.

"It's hyung to you, your highness." Seokjin stuck his tongue out.

I giggled at their childishness. They both turn their heads to me in confusion.

"You guys are just so cute when you bicker." I smiled

Seokjin then "accidentally" pushed a little too hard on my knee.

"Ow!" I flinched

"You hurt her, I will break your neck!" Jimin scowled at Jin.

"Jimin, why are you still here. Shouldn't you be planning for the ball?" A voice came from the entrance.

"Oh, you're back!" Jimin smiled with his eyes disappearing into a cute eye smile.

The king had came back from the parade with Hoseok and Naeun.

"I was just about to leave. It was nice meeting you Y/n." Jimin smiled and walked into another room.

"Seokjin, how's her scratches? She fell pretty hard on the rough ground." Jungkook walked over to me.

I glanced behind him to see Hoseok following and Naeun with a bitter look on her face.

"They're just fine. As long as she continues to put ointment on daily, she'll be completely healed in no time, your majesty." Seokjin hung his head low.

"Stop with the majesty stuff. It's uncomfortable with you saying it. Not that I hate having you bow to me though." Jungkook laughed

"You little brat. If anyone out of this palace, especially your parents, finds out I speak informally to you, my head's not gonna stay attached to my body!" Seokjin said while cleaning everything up.

I got lost and confused. Why the heck is everyone speaking that way towards THE ROYALTY!

I tried to get up and leave quietly but soon felt my legs go numb. I was waiting for the impact of falling but instead felt two hands stopping me from hitting the floor.

"You're staying. King's order." Jungkook said.

He swiftly carried me bridal style.
(OoooO making your move so soon huh *wink wink*) I squeak as he held me tightly, the princess that was still standing behind Jungkook clenched her fists.

"But your majesty, my parents will be worried. I believe my scratches aren't big so I can go home now." I tried to get out of his hold.

"Hoseok, inform her parents about her stay at the palace." Jungkook ordered.

Why is he doing this?!

"Yes, your majesty." Hoseok ran to find your address.

"Jungkook-ah, what is with you today? Bringing a low class into the royal palace? And even having Jinnie treat her? The queen will not like this!" Naeun stared hopefully at Jungkook.

"How many times do I have to say this? You respect and address me as THE KING. You do not question my actions as you are only a petty princess." Jungkook walked away with me still in his arms.

Naeun's eyes started to water. Seeing her long time crush carrying another girl, it made her feel helpless. It made her feel heartbroken.

As Jungkook turned the corner, I saw a second of Naeun's face. I instantly felt guilt, everyone in the kingdom knows that Naeun really likes Jungkook. They MUST have a thing together! There's no way Jungkook would turn a beautiful girl like her who has been chasing him since they were young!

I realized I didn't talk or say as much. I thought I would talk back or argue with the king but realized I can't. He intimidates me. If I make a wrong move, I could be beheaded! The moment I've seen him for the first time, I realized that I'm actually scared of him. I don't despise him anymore, I fear him.
