"Someone who can create curses? Is that possible" (y/n) had heard a lot of unbelievable things from Sukuna, but this one takes the throne.

To make a curse you would have to create unimaginable chaos. And to do that, people would have to die. Of course it was nothing new to her, but she had to admit to herself quietly... It saddened her.

"Their is a bloodline where a genetic chromosome runs through the female dna. These woman are able to birth curses." Sukuna says, making (y/n) and Seiichi stop in their tracks.

Birth a curse?

Her eyes were lit up in shock as the sentence repeated in her head. Seiichi's snout twitched and his ears tilted back, completely stunned by what he heard.

"How can that scientifically be possible? How can a human birth a curse?" She says, frantically taking Sukuna's waist band, hoping he'd reply with a reasonable answer.

He looks down unimpressed with her reply, however he didn't mind answering. He wanted her to know everything he could teach her. He didn't quite understand why, but a sense of pride washed over him every time she'd look at him with that lost gaze.

"Like many jujutsu sorcerers know, there a many hundred forms of Jujutsu sorcery. The most rare are ones that run in a blood line." Her grip loosens as he pulled himself away from her.
"Many family bloodlines, weather it be small or large have specific combat styles or abilities that run through their dna. This is a case, no different." At times, he knew she found it hard to understand his way of explaining, and without realising it, he had minimised the words he'd use to describe something to her.

"So these woman are just part of a sorcerer family?" She questioned again.

"Somewhat, yes. Though it's extremely rare." His answer was brief and she began to understand what he meant, but she couldn't help but think how those woman feel.

How are these curses born? Do they look like normal people like Akio and the other special grade curses, or something entirely different? She thought.

"We're running on a tight schedule. Hurry up." Sukuna grunts walking off further. The two shook their heads free from their thoughts and chased after him.

Seiichi glares at Sukuna's back; hating every fiber of his being. Some of the things Sukuna does can be seen in light through Seiichi's eyes, but when he questions others abilities, strong or weak, it makes his blood boil.

He alone is able to protect (y/n). He doesn't need the help from puny little curses.

"These curses. Will they be strong enough? If they prove to be weak...I'll eat them." Seiichi says, transforming back into a male body. His wound had somewhat healed itself relatively quick. The longer he is in his fox form, the closer he is to the spirit world; accelerating his healing.

"Hahaha! Eat them as you wish little fox, but id like to see you even try to touch them..." Sukuna snorts as the fox walks beside (y/n).
"If you do, then an apology will be set in play, as I had duly underestimated you." He jokes. Knowing very well what Seiichi's limits are in combat.

"Hmph." Seiichi grunts. For years now he learnt to keep his mouth shut at times. Talking back to the king of curses has its risks, and he has the scars to prove it.

Being the only thing standing between Sukuna and (y/n), he knew his risk with it. They're relationship was moving slow, but all at the same time, moving very fast. It was clear to him she had feelings for the curse, but it didn't stop him from drawing the line.

Both himself and Sukuna knew that. The way the King of Curses would act around her was so blindly obvious. It was different to how he'd treat even one of his most trusted personnel, Uraume.

The relationship between those two is strong and unbreakable, which in turn made (y/n) jealous. (Y/n) made it very clear to Uraume that she was the only one in Sukuna's interest. However; despite their bad blood, Sukuna still enjoyed the meals she prepared for him, and kept her around. Fuelling (y/n)'s emotions.

"My lord. I hope this is the right decision, but I don't understand..." (y/n) continues for Seiichi.
"Why don't you just use my powers at its fullest and wipe them out?" She continued.

Sukuna smiled. Proud to know she thought like him from time to time. It truly made him feel so special in her eyes.

"If I did that, unfortunately I don't believe your body could withstand such an extraction..." He says, continuing to walk ahead.
"The amount of raw cursed energy would kill you." He stops, turning around to face her.

She parts her lips, surprised at how straight forward he was with it... But it made her happy. He takes her chin in his palm, forcing her to look at him.

"Of course, I can't let that happen... You're— too valuable to me." He releases her chin after finding the proper words to say.

(Y/n)'s eyes widen like the sun peeping behind a cloud. She was amazed at such a vulnerable comment from him. She knew it was different from all the other times he's said it.

It use to be - 'your power is too valuable' or 'the power is what's worth protecting' but this comment he made changed everything on how they viewed each other.

He was talking directly to her and not the power that resides in her.

"Sukuna..." She managed to say, not knowing what to say after. She was desperate to lay all her feelings on the table, but she knew it wasn't right. Despite this glimmer of hope he shined on her, she held her tongue. She knew her place and kept it.

After a while of silence, Sukuna turns back around, ignoring the words that came from his lips.

"We have until the end of this month... Seiichi" He says.

"Yes?"

"I want you to scout up ahead. Knowing Akio, he'd have any trick up his damned sleeve." Sukuna grinds his teeth, as if he was remembering a time in the past.

"He'll try anything just to get on my nerves." He continues to say, watching Seiichi pounce ahead in his fox form.

It was silent between the two now. Though they didn't find it awkward. They were quite comfortable by each others side.

"Sukuna..." (y/n) whispers in a soft voice. It shook a little, not because she was scared but because she was nervous about what would happen to them in the future.

"Hm?" He turns around, looking at her downturned chin.

"Do you think they can do it?" She mumbles.

"Be more specific (y/n)." he grunts her name, saying it as though it was so natural to be said.

"The Sorcerers and Akio. Do you think this war will be in their favour." Sukuna instantly crouches down in front of her, his eyes piercing through hers.
"I-I'm sorry for thinking such a thing my lord, I'm truly sorry!" She bows her head numerous times, in hope he would accept her apology.

What she said was out of line for someone like Sukuna. The thought of being beaten was far from his mind. He started this war with the intent to win.

"*sigh*" He grunts a sigh. Noticing that his sudden expression of power made her scared of him. It was a natural reaction, but seeing her so scared made him feel regretful.

"Don't worry. We'll win. Then you can spend your remaining lifetime by my side." He says without hesitation.

He knew the way she felt for him, and though he couldn't return her feelings in the way she wished for, he still gave her his undivided attention.

It wasn't the answer she was hoping to hear, but it made her happy to hear it nonetheless. When he says these things in the presence of herself and no one else around; it truly makes her feel special in his eyes.

"That sounds nice." She says with a smile.

He stared at her smile in thought. She was watching the leaves blow by her feet as the smile wavered.

Does she truly feel happy by my side?

He thought, knowing the cruel person he was. He didn't deserve her by his side; worshiping him and doing everything he'd ask. It was the reason why he never went further in their relationship.

It was impossible for them. The biological science behind it, is complete madness. He was a curse, unable to reproduce life; a figment of enormous amounts of cursed energy in a meat sack. Where as she was a living being, capable of bringing life into the world and feeling things he couldn't.

The relationship didn't make any sense to him, but he still continued to feel things towards her. When she smiled he'd stop and gaze, when she was scared he'd protect her and when she cried he'd feel an ache in himself too... He couldn't believe that he'd actually fallen for a human girl.

"Is something wrong?" She says looking up to him.

Bringing his mind back to the present he shakes his head slightly with a grin. He clenches his jaw, hollowing his cheek bones.

"Everything is just right." He places a hand on her head, taking any chance he could to touch her. For so long he wasn't able too, but the surprise he got when he did first touch her replays in his head constantly.

He wondered if it was because she allowed him too, or allowed the soul to except him. Either or, he was just glad he was able to feel her skin.

"O-oh, okey." She replied, uncertain to what he meant. How could everything be alright when there are sorcerers hunting them down?

From amongst the bushes, Seiichi jumps out, transforming back into a human. He walked up beside Sukuna, placing his arms into his sleeves.

"There seems to be no sorcerers or curses that may be sided with Akio." He softly says.
"I couldn't sense any cursed energy for the next 10 miles. She should be safe to travel North."

"Very well. Your duties for today are finished." Sukuna nods his head with a sour look on his face before walking off again.
"You can return to the Yokai world and inform your clan head about everything." He goes silent for a moment, before speaking up.
"I want a full report back on what they plan to do with (y/n) for the future." His usual mean glare returns and forces Seiichi to obey his every command.

"Of course." He says bluntly, before turning towards (y/n). He touches her forehead with his thumb, exposing her markings.
"I'm temporarily taking the markings, so those old folks back at the yokai world don't go searching for you, okey?" He says in a reassuring way, hoping to calm her.

"Mhm, okey. I trust you." Her smile slowly fades as she knew she wouldn't see him for another few weeks.

"I'll be fine. I won't take too long." He finishes, fading away into a thick mist and leaving a single green leaf floating into her palm.

She gazes at it, remembering all the other time he's vanished in mid air and only leaving a single leaf for her to hold onto. It truly made her sad.

"Let's get moving." Sukuna calls out, a fair way from her. She jumps at his distant voice and starts to walk faster to his side.
