(Y/n) runs around the railing corner, distancing herself from the curse that's chasing after her. She throws the dagger from her thigh at the curse, using her cursed technique to move it in whatever direction she wants.

Her dagger was one she was able to create herself. With the use of a cursed spirit she was able to embed it into a dagger Seiichi made her. She was able to seperate her own cursed energy into the dagger along with the spirit in order to control it mid air.

"Aghhraaa!" The curse yells, as it's eyes were sliced apart.

(Y/n) runs towards the curse at full speed, dodging the attack that was coming her way, but from the corner of her eye, she sees another smaller curse flying towards her.

It's takes her by the waist, lifting her into the air. She calls the dagger back to her hand and twists her body as much as she could, slicing at its wings, only the blade wasn't long enough to cut it in half.

"Argh!" She struggles around in its grip as the curse took her higher and higher in the air, past the safety of the railing.

She looks down and sees Megumi easily defeating the curses below. Her fear of heights fog her brain as the ground below began to look further then what it was.

She takes a few breaths, planning on how to safely get back down to the level she was just on.

She managers to grab hold of the small blade again, twisting it to pierce right through one of its wings. The curse struggles to hold itself in the air, decreasing the distance from the floor.

She rotates her body quickly, flipping the curse and herself over, then without a second thought she takes her blade, slicing the curse in half. In mid air, she free falls, struggling to keep her head cool.

She extends an arm, reaching for the coming railing in her fall. With a loud bang she grips the railing, leaving her hanging from the 3rd floor; However, the weight from her own body pulling her arm at a sudden stop, sprains her shoulder.

"Agh!" She yells, struggling to keep her body up with the one arm. She could hear the other curse come closer to her behind the railing, as it catches her scent.
"Nghhh—agh!" She desperately lifts her body weight up and manages to get a a foot on the edge.

With as much strength she could muster, she lifts herself over the railing, flipping onto the other side where the floor was stationed.

Taking a few quick breaths, she prepares herself for an attack from the coming curse. It slams into her, throwing her around to the store behind, shattering the glass. She grazes her arms and cheek, blood dripping from the cuts.

"Dammit!" She yells, before pulling herself up again. The curse goes to bite down on her, but before it could, she stakes the roof of the curses mouth with her blade, holding it open so she could find a way to get out of the situation.

She was cornered in the display window and had no way around it. She looks out behind the curse and taunts it with the dagger. She pokes it on its hind side, forcing it to twist around at the feeling.

Shes thrown with the curse as she still held onto the sword. Seeing that she was now able to gain distance, she releases the weapon, running away from it.

"*huff* *huff*" She pants, leaning back into a corner, hidden from the curse.

"Hiding isn't going to solve anything." The mysterious voice whispers. She throws herself back out into the open, as the voice scared her. She looks down the corridor she was hiding in, trying to see who said it.

But before she could take a second look the curse was already on top of her. In a last minute decision before the curse could devour her; using her cursed technique she lunges at the curse with incredible speed, taking the blade out of its mouth and slicing the under part of its neck.

She falls back, covered in purple blood. Taking a large gulp, she looks back down the corridor hoping to see who's behind the voice, but there was no trace of any curses.

She pushes herself off the floor, wiping the cuts on her arms. They were minor, nothing to be concerned about, and the sprain in her shoulder wasn't too serious. The pain however was going to tire her even more.

Without Seiichi her energy was exhausting her. She had already used her dagger too much and now she was exhausted.

"Already? You gotta be kidding me!" She holds her chest, trying to catch her breath.

"Conserve your energy." She remembers what the voice said and she grunts. Displeased that she listened to a mysterious curse.

A swarm of tiny curses creep from the cracks in the shops stalls. Climbing over the racks and squeezing under the locked sliding doors.

"What! What are these things!" She yells, watching them swarm in the distance.

"These are a weak curse, but as a group they tend to be quite noisome." The mysterious voice calls.

She looks back at where the voice came from, but of course nothing was there.

"Tell me, who are you!" She calls out, getting annoyed at the voice.

"Nah ah, concentrate remember." He says, making her look back at the clutter of curses gathering her way.

"Tch!" She clicks her tongue. She drops all her weapons, kneeling to the ground while clapping her hands together. She was growing frustrated and the nuisance of dealing with small curses was the pinnacle of annoyance for her.

She allows her markings to show faintly, as she chants a small sentence. The heat in her body rises and a smell of smoke exceeds her finger tips. When taking a large breath she slams her palms on the ground and a huge flame crawls on the floor, inching closer to the curses, igniting them in blue flames.

"*cough* *cough*" The markings on her forehead dissipate and the voice calls out from behind her.

"Hahaha! Wow!! I didn't know you had that trick up your sleeve! I guess fire is the best way to deal with a herd of curses." While he was distracted watching the curses burn, (y/n) took her chance. Picking her blade up within a blink of an eye, she spins around to slice the mysterious voice, but she was too late.

"Careful now, you'll hurt yourself. You still have other curses to fight before targeting me." He calls out, distancing its voice from her. The voice got further and further away, to the point she couldn't hear him anymore.

"Who the hell are you! Argh!!" She slices her blade on ground in frustration. The smell of another curse catches her senses. This curse was different. It felt more powerful then the others she fought. She huffs a sighs, keeping her frustration to a minimum.

"Great what now?" She slowly turns around, her brows stitching at the frustration of all of this. She didn't know what was going on or why she was here, taking classes with a curse with no body to it.

Her pupils compressed into the shape of a foxes, and her anger boiled inside her. With these eyes she was able to see curses movements like no other human could. She could predict it's every move.

Trying to calm herself down before she loses it, the curse jumps up from the level below her, gripping the railing as it pulled itself up.

"Give me some time to breath will you." She calmly says, closing her eyes.

The curse dragged itself onto the level she was on, charging itself up to lunge. It's eyes locked onto her and it's hands shot small amounts of energy in her direction.

She flicks her eyes open, grabbing her blade and cutting each of those energy particles in half with ease. The curse smiles, impressed that she dodged its attack swiftly.

"So you're not like those other curses? Seems you have a mind of your own." She grins, facing towards the humanoid curse.

"Not...like... others." It replied back.

"Hmph" she laughs.

She nails her dagger towards the curse, hoping to slow it down, but instead it catches it midair. She gets surprised by it, but quickly twists the blade with her cursed technique. It's fingers fall to the ground which in response the curse pouts.

"Fingers...gone." It mopes.

She runs towards the curse, building up her energy in her hands and through her blade. As she goes in to attack, the curse dodges it with its arm.

It fights back, swiftly getting a hit on her thigh. She slides back holding onto the area it managed to strike. She shrugs it off before running back towards the curse, dodging all the  attacks it sent her.

She cuts the left arm of the curse and punches it's stomach, sending it flying through one of the store windows. Before it had time to get up, she lunges her arm forward, using her dagger to slice its eyes, but again the curse manages to grab it in time.

How is it able to see my dagger and catch it so quickly?! Huh! Wait. So far it's been dodging my attacks I've put cursed energy into, and my normal attacks are able to hit it.

"Don't tell me it's able to see my cursed technique attacks!" She calls out.

"Bingo! Nice job." The voice says from behind.

"Argh! Butt out will you!" (Y/n) yells, decreasing her cursed energy.

Now that she wasn't able to use any of her energy, she had only her sword and eyes to rely on.

How do you kill a curse without using cursed energy? Maybe if I...

She looks down at her blade that she called back and remembers the time Seiichi taught her how to throw it.

When training, Seiichi taught me how to throw this dagger with utmost precision before teaching me how to use it with cursed energy.

She picks up the dagger and waited for the perfect moment to blind the curse.

If it can only rely on feeling cursed energy and seeing the attacks, then blinding it first and then killing it with normal attacks with my Katana should work. Maybe cutting its limbs off will work too if blinding it fails.

"Hey you! Ugly! How long do you plan on getting back up!" (Y/n) calls out, taunting the curse.

"Ug...Ugly?" The curse responds, pushing itself out of the glass it fell on.

"Yea that's right! Look at you! You have small eyes and long lanky limbs! Your skin is all yuck and gross, you're ugly!" She taunts again, hoping for it to attack her.

"Me..Not... Ugly!" It calls out, running towards her. She stops its' attack with her blade, then pushes it back, provoking it to attack again.

She's pushed back around the railings corner by its attacks, all while trying to slice down on its body. She tried her best dodging every strike, but her limbs began to tire and her breath started to get heavy. She couldn't last much longer. This was her only chance to kill it and she had to do it exactly by her plan.

Where the pile of curses burned to ash, she managed to quickly grab hold of the flame she made, throwing it into the curses face. Just as the moment came were it stopped attacking for a split second, she throws the dagger directly across both eyes. She waisted no time to pounce towards the curse, impaling her blade into its chest where she then covered the blade in cursed energy, killing the curse.

As the level of the mall she occupied went silent she flops to the side breathing heavily on the floor.

She would usually last longer then this, but without Seiichi by her side, she's not able to unlock her full potential. The fire technique was one of her hardest techniques to use as it completely drains her.

Get up. There might be more. You can't rest yet (y/n).

She struggles to lift herself back up onto her knees, as they shook from the weight. She wanted to collapse, but she knew she couldn't. There was still that voice. She found it weird he'd hadn't commented on her defeating that curse.

"What now huh! What's my next challenge huh?!" She calls out, waiting for him to respond.

From below she could hear Megumi fighting and from above she could hear Teru being thrown around. She wanted to help her team mates, but she knew she'd get in the way with the state she's in.

"Hmph, your next challenge is me..." the voice calls out after a long silence.

"*gasp*" She gasped, unexpectedly hearing the voice right behind her. She spins around as quick as she could, lifting her blade.

Within a split second a man with dark brown hair lunges towards her. Though she could see his movements, she couldn't react fast enough, but for some reason she didn't need to. He had stoped centimetres away from cutting her face.

To her surprise they both looked at each other with the same facial expression; Shocked. But she was confused at why he was more surprised then her.

"M'lady?" He whispers. Her eyes dilate at the word, remembering someone calling her that in her memories.
