"Bye Linda and sorry again." I heard Chandler say. We finished dinner and I was happy mom liked Chandler so much. I wanted him to see my mom as a person he could trust. And I know he likes her too.

"It's okay, dear. Just don't let this happen again, please." She smiled kindly at him and he nodded with a smile on his face. Mom gave me a look and then walked upstairs. We were standing in front of the front door and I opened it, to let Chandler out.

"So." He said when he came to stand in front of me. I smiled up at him.
"So." I said back, which made him smirk.
"You remember our deal, right?" He asked and I rolled my eyes.

"My mom could come downstairs." I reasoned and he shook his head.
"She just walked upstairs." His hands found my waist and he pulled me closer.
"How about tomorrow when you bring my coat?" I asked him and he groaned.

"Come on, Allie. Don't be such a prude." He complained.
"I'm not a prude." I scoffed and he raised an eyebrow.
"Prove it." He smirked. I looked back at the staircase and sighed, before walking out and closing the front door behind us.

I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and kissed him. He smirked into the kiss and pulled on my bottom lip. Oh, I do like that. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he pulled me closer by my waist. We stayed like this for a few minutes before we pulled apart, needing to breath.

"You know when you said you didn't like my kisses, I wasn't sure if you were lying. But now I am." He smirked and pecked my lips, before walking away. My jaw dropped and when he looked back at me before getting into his car, I glared at him. Which only made him chuckle and shake his head. I watched him drive away and once again he honked twice.

I had a smile on my face, which lasted until I finished showering. I brushed my teeth and stopped, but when I jumped on my bed that day, I smiled again. I fell asleep with the thought of our shared kiss. I'm sure the fact that I was so excited about kissing Chandler tomorrow wasn't good.

The next day I woke up and got dressed for a lazy day. I know Chandler will come over to bring my coat, but I planned on staying inside today, so he could either stay or leave. I'm pretty sure he'll stay, because he's lonely and so I dressed in my nicer set of lazy clothes.

Mom was cooking pancakes and when I reached her, she smiled warmly at me and prepared me a plate. She never really made pancakes, so I was surprised that she did today.
"Do you know when Chandler's coming over?" Mom asked me and I shook my head.

"Not exactly. I'm not even sure if he'll stay, mom." I almost rolled my eyes. It's like she was literally shipping us.
"Alright. Just text me when he's here. I'll let you eat in peace, now. I need to drive Cyrus to one of his friend's house." She told me and I nodded.

After breakfast, I hung around in the living room as I waited for Chandler to arrive. When I finally heard his car, it was past noon. Mom was probably hanging out with Cyrus' friend's mom, so I was alone and suddenly felt nervous. It wasn't the first time I was alone with him, but we were supposed to communicate and get to know each other.

I saw him through the window and smiled when I saw that he hasn't gelled his hair. It was beautiful and I hoped he would see that soon. The doorbell ran and I mentally prepared myself to open the door and let him in.

"Hey." I greeted him. He smiled and stepped in. I decided against commenting on his hair, since I didn't want to make a big deal out of it.
"Hey." He handed me the coat and I thanked him for it. I fished out my phone and saw that it had no battery.

"Ugh, I need to charge this. Wait here." I said and he nodded.
But just when I was about to run upstairs, the doorbell rung again and I shoot Chandler a confused look. He only shrugged. Maybe it's mom.

"Who's fancy car is that in your drive way, did your mom get a promotion?" She said that without looking at me and my eyes widened. What is she doing here?
"Lila?" I asked surprised and her eyes snapped to me.

"Hi." She smiled and I blinked, before leaning against the door frame, so she couldn't see Chandler behind me. There was no way I could tell her about Chandler yet. I wasn't even sure if he was comfortable with that.

"Why won't you let me in? Most importantly, why are you ignoring me?" She asked and I frowned.
"I'm not ignoring you, what are you talking about?" I asked her and she looked to her left.

"Are you hiding someone? Wasn't that car on our school parking lot? Yes, the one Mike and Danny couldn't stop talking about." She said as she shot me a suspicious look.
"N-no, Cyrus is just running around naked and I- don't know what that car is doing here" I lied and she narrowed her eyes again.

"I've seen Cyrus naked before, just let me in." She said and I heard Chandler chuckle from next to me. I kicked him with my leg and he hissed under his breath.
"What are you even doing here?" I changed the topic.

"Well, I texted you this, but you didn't answer. My parents are out of town for the first time in years and they'll come back next week. So I invited Mike, Danny and you to come over tonight. Have a lazy day inside." She said and I instantly smiled. I haven't been at Lila's in a while and she has an indoor pool, where I'd love to swim in right now.

Just when I was about to answer, my mom's car pulled up. Just my luck, right? Lila noticed that and turned around to greet my mom when she stepped out.
"Hello Miss Parker." She waved politely.

"Hello, dear, what are you doing here?" She asked as the door to the back seats opened. Cyrus stepped outside and my eyes widened. I thought he was going to play with his friends?! Lila looked back at me with a glare.

"You liar." She said and I opened my mouth, before I got interrupted again.
"Chandler's here, yes!" My brother ran past Lila and opened the door widely.

"Chandler?" Lila's eyes widened.
"As in Chandler Hawkes?" She asked and mom came up behind her.

"Why are you standing outside, come on in." She invited Lila in just as I heard my brother greet Chandler. This was not happening.
