WHAM!

The doors to the lighthouse flew off its hinges as a completely drenched figure entered through the broken door. The figure had long spiky silver-streaked black hair which was now wet and getting on his face. He wore a red black jacket which was left unzipped over a full sleeved white T shirt along with blue pants. His clothes were completely wet due to the heavy rain outside.

He was carrying a reddish orange figure which was wrapped up in a wet white towel. A small reddish orange flame was burning on the tail of the towel wrapped pokemon.

The right fist of the silver-streaked boy was cloaked in a blue outline. Apparently keeping Ash Ketchum waiting in the rain is not a good idea. Hey he even ringed the doorbell once you know? But since no reply came...So yeah...The steel door didn't stand a chance against the aura charged fist.

Ash eyebrows twitched in annoyance as he observed the interior of the lighthouse that he had broken into – No wait a damn second. Not broken into. That he had decided to take a shelter in.

Hey, it wasn't his fault that the damned person who handled the lighthouse didn't open the steel door when there was a poor boy soaking in the rain with an almost half dead pokemon with equally poor luck. So he did the only sensible thing...Smash the door.

As Ash observed the place he noted something funny, for a light-house this place was certainly dark.

As he cautiously took steps into the dark while channeling an abysmal amount of aura to his eyes to see in the pitch black lighthouse he noted something strange. He was immediately put on edge. Firstly, he was in an unknown territory with possible hostile threats. Secondly, there was an injured pokemon with him. Thirdly, this place was a lighthouse. Like those typical haunted lighthouses in those horror movies where there was a creepy ass ghost who murdered the travelers in the dark.

Suddenly the lights in the room lit up. Ash widened his eyes and looked around him searching for the cause. He found the cause in the form of a...By the name of Giratina's Ghostly Ass, was that a Kabuto?! As in that stupid prehistoric pokemon shaped like a dome?!

The insanely large 'Kabuto' emitted a screeching noise and flailed its tentacle like arms around. Ash immediately put Charmander who was still wrapped up in a towel on a nearby couch and took out a Pokeball.

'I cannot let this opportunity go waste!' Ash thought vehemently as he took out Bulbasaur's Pokeball. Ash released Bulbasaur while formulating his battle plan to capture this 'Kabuto', '...Bulbasaur can slowly drain its health with Leech Seed and he can put it to sleep with a sleep powder, then catching it would be a piece of cake...' Ash thought to himself. He didn't want to KO this Kabuto. So he took Bulbasaur.

'Bulbasaur no time to explain. Use Leech Seed on that Kabuto!' Bulbasaur was shaken out of his stupor by the voice of his master. Bulbasaur immediately went into what Ash liked to call his 'Battle Mode' when he was being 100% serious with no perverse thoughts.

Bulbasaur fired a single green seed from his Bulb towards the Kabuto and soon the prehistoric pokemon was trapped in its vines. The Kabuto let out a screeching noise as it flailed around to get rid of the vines that were trapping him. God those vines were thorny as hell and they were sucking its energy.

"GRRRRAAAAAHHHHH" An inhumane scream erupted from the 'Kabuto' as Bulbasaur launched a vine at it to trap it so that Ash can throw his Pokeball accurately.

Ash took that moment to throw a Pokeball at the screaming pokemon. The Pokeball hit the Kabuto and then...

...

...

...

Wait a damn minute. Why the fuck isn't anything happening at all? Was that Pokeball somehow defective or badly made?

Ash looked stunned for a moment before he cautiously approached the 'pokemon' which was writhing in pain. He observed a few things. This 'pokemon' didn't have that life force like a pokemon...The life force in this Kabuto was...human like. And moreover this Kabuto was sized...almost 10x the normal Kabuto...

Then he noticed something that proved his assumptions correct. There was a tear due to a thorny vine because of the Leech Seed that Bulbasaur had launched at the Kabuto.

Ash grunted in annoyance and made a small 4-inch Sharpy in his hand and approached the downed 'pokemon'.

RRRRRRIIIIIPPPPPPPP!

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH"

The entire costume of the Kabuto fell apart as the purple colored Aura blade pierced through the outfit and ripped it in half. Ash roughly ripped the cloth with his bare hand as tossed it to the side.

The man whose face was still not visible to Ash was lifted up in the air by his throat which was being held inside Ash's crushing left hand grip. Ash lifted his right arm with the purple colored blade to the man's chest and coldly asked, "Who are you? Why are you cosplaying as a Kabuto? Why are you inside the lighthouse that belongs to Bill Sonezaki?"

The man clothed in purple clothing choked for some air. That's one crushing grip this boy's got...Well ruthlessly training with a Machamp for about 4 years will do that to you...

"...A-Ai-Air...P-Plee-Plleassee..." The man who wore a purple colored shirt underneath a white lab-coat with brown pants begged. Ash did not release his hold at his throat for a single moment as he examined the man.

Frail body. A purple t-shirt underneath a lab-coat. Brown hair. Brown eyes...Wait...Why was he wearing a LABCOAT of all things?

Oh...
OH......
OOOHHHHHHHHH!!

Realization hit Ash like a train as he dropped the man from his chokehold in an instant. The man immediately fell to the ground coughing, choking and breathing for air. Ash slowly backed away from the man as he rolled on the floor in fits of coughing and gasping for air.

"...Bill Sonezaki...I-I...I am so sorry. I didn't recognize you..." Ash slightly stammered as he tried to form coherent sentences. He was just moments away from killing one of the most brilliant scientists of all times due to lack of air...

"*cough**cough*That *cough**hack**cough* That damned old coot...*cough* was right...*cough* about you..." The pokemon professor rasped out between coughs.

Ash got over his momentary shock and raised an eyebrow at the coughing professor...Hey hey didn't hold this man that tight in his grip you know? It was not his fault that this...otaku like scientist has that frail and weak body. He asked, "Did Professor Oak say something about me?"

Bill didn't answer and got up from the floor and went to a nearby table on which several bottles of water were placed. He took one of them and drank the water. After quenching his thirst he looked at Ash and replied, "...Yes. He did say that he was sending a messenger to deliver that message. He also said that the messenger was...unique. So he advised me to be on best of my behavior –"

"If you call making a visitor wait in the rain while they are carrying an injured pokemon your proper behavior then yes...I'm certainly very impressed" Came the sarcastic interruption from Ash. Yeah he was kinda pissed. And that's generally not a good thing.

Bill winced at the jab and said, "Hey I was just researching on Kabuto –"

"By cosplaying as a pokemon. Don't tell me that's some new kind of fetish..." Ash groaned as he facepalmed. He was already handful with a perverted Bulbasaur on his team with a fetish for breasts and maid outfits...

Bill blushed in embarrassment as he stammered to form a reply. Okay, it was his fault that he kept a visitor in the rain but...Hey you can't unlock a door in a creepy ass Kabuto costume can you? He frowned at him in irritation, "Hey listen Ash –"

"Whoa man, you're good. You've discovered my name" Ash sarcastically interrupted and whistled exaggeratedly.

"HEY YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SUCH A JERK YOU KNOW?!" Bill yelled out angrily. He was getting kinda pissed by this...jackass who technically broke into his lighthouse.

To his further irritation Ash whistled again and sardonically said, "Whoa man, you're as good as they say. You've found out my occupation too! Congratulations!"

Bill face faulted into the ground. Hard. Meanwhile Ash smiled slightly. Yeah, being a sarcastic cynical asshole with sadistic tendencies felt good.

Bill got up and dusted himself, "ENOUGH! It's enough! First you break into my lighthouse! Then you threaten to kill me! Then you're being this jackass –"

"*Yawn* Oh well, look at all the fucks that I do not give...Anyway...Your lighthouse has got to have rooms right? I'm taking one for me and my pokemon for the night. I'll give you the documents tomorrow...Good night Bill. I hope that you die in your sleep" Ash told him with a tired yawn which further added to the irritation of Bill. Ash picked up Charmander from the couch where he put him in and walked towards the staircases to find a room.

Bill's face got completely red with embarrassment and anger. He yelled out at him, "YOU BROKE INTO MY LIGHTHOUSE DAMMIT! YOU COULD HAVE ATLEAST ASKED FOR A ROOM INSTEAD OF –"

From above the staircases Ash replied, "...Well, I think you haven't heard but...When life closes a door, you smash the wall and walk in like a boss...That's what I did..."

WHAM!

The sound of a door banging its hinges was heard from one of the rooms above as Ash...reserved the room for the night...

Meanwhile Bill sweatdropped, "...Err...Kid I think you've got the wrong version of the saying..."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ash entered the posh room with a bed and a table. He gently placed Charmander on the bed and checked his injuries once again. He had already healed him once with Aura...A good night's sleep ought to heal the rest of them.

He took a seat near the opened window of the lighthouse.

The scenery outside was awesome though. The waves of the blue ocean were constantly colliding with the base of the tower and splashing sounds were heard. The moon above the sea illuminated the entire landscape. The ocean stretched far and wide up to the horizon.

Ash turned his head to look at the resting Charmander once again and decided that it was time to sleep. The entire ordeal had taken a lot out of him today. He undressed the most of his heavy clothing and changed into some light nightclothes. Soon he plopped down on the bed just beside Charmander and stared at the white ceiling of the lighthouse.

Soon he closed his eyes and went to sleep thinking about waking up the next warm day...

...Unfortunately the night had other plans for him as he didn't notice the nearby shadow move from window as the gentle sea wind rushed in...

End. Sorry for the cliffy but...NAH! I'm just that evil. And I have some very important clarifications to make.

IMPORTANT NOTICE : Some of you have requested for Leaf to be brought back in the storyline.
I want to clear this once and for all that this story is based upon Furthershipping but this story does NOT revolve around the pairing.

I'm sorry if I have disappointed anyone but this is not those 'slow burn' stories which revolve around a male and a female who are attracted to each other, and then they get closer, then some weird bimbo comes and snatches the boy for herself before the ship can set sail, that results in misunderstandings, both the boy and the girl gets hurt by each other and lastly it all comes together as they become the perfect couple. And Ta-Da they live a life of 'happily ever after'.

No my story is not that kind of story. Believe me I have read my fair amount of love-stories and MOST of them fit the general description given above. My story is most definetly NOT that kind of story at all.

This is the story of an adventurous (and not to mention asshole-ish) soul in the region of Kanto. This story involves Ash's adventures, his feelings, his dreams, his family and his pokemon as they travel the Kanto region with the dream to changing it for the people he cares about. His pokemon will support him. And he will support them...Well atleast those whom he considers 'family' and not business partners. Currently all of his team except Charmander are in that 'family' category while Charmander is still in the 'business partner' category.

Once again. I am sorry to have disappointed anyone. But I think that Leaf will meet Ash in TWO points of his Journey. I won't spoil the surprise and say WHERE but I think they will meet 2 more times.

So yeah...I'm pretty overworked and tired now...

Me : *Calmly sitting on my PC reading this chapter for the final time to check any errors* Yawn, I'm pretty damn tired...Gotta go to sleep.

*The door behind me creepily opens silently and I don't see the shadow entering my room*
*The shadow slowly creeps up on me*

WHAM!

*An iron pan comes down on my head as I go unconscious to sleep as the shadow slowly reveals itself. There was a deep black haired woman with her long hair tied into a bun. She had deep brown colored eyes. She wore a brown nightgown and had a pan in her hand swishing menacingly. She was smiling sweetly at her sleeping/unconscious son*

Shadow/Mother : Sweetie, I've told you many times not to write stories that late at night. Goodnight, sweet dreams! *plants a good-night kiss on my forehead and goes to sleep herself*

Yeah...My mother loves me sooooooooo~ much doesn't she?
