#Just to inform dear readers that there is a minor crossover in this chapter. Nothing too drastic. Just funny reference that's all.

Ash stood in front of the blue colored gates of Cerulean City with a relieved expression on his face.

...It had taken him 2 days to reach Cerulean after he had left Pokemon Tech. Entering Cerulean brought a few bad memories of his past time here. The phantom face of the blonde rocket woman still haunted his mind when he looked in the direction of the gym.

And so with a sigh he put his step forward in Cerulean.

He was going to challenge the gym. Today. Right now. He had a good strategy planned to handle the Sensational Sisters. They were infamous for battling Trainers in 3 on 3 battles. Ash didn't know much about their pokemon except for the fact that they were water types...

In these two days Ash had measured his new Bulbasaur's capabilities. Bulbasaur was special in his own way...And his needs had to be catered. And that was exactly the reason that there was a porno magazine lying in his bag...

Make-Out Tactics was the name of the book that he had (reluctantly) gifted Bulbasaur. Don't even ask where he got it. The book was said to be written by a person called 'The Toad Sage Jiraya'. The legendary toad sage was said to be a master of toad and frog pokemon. He was a self proclaimed super pervert. But don't judge a book by its cover.

Ash knew all he had to about the man. He was a very renowned Pokemon Trainer. He had a full team of a Poliwrath, a Politoed, a Greninja, a Toxicroak, a Seismitoad and lastly a Venusaur (It kinda looks like a toad with all the rash like dimples on it) which was said to be able to Mega Evolve.

The Toad Sage and the magazine aside. Ash had brought the book to Bulbasaur just to cater his needs. Nothing more, nothing less. Bulbasaur was very happy to receive that book as a gift and had focused more on his training. Bulbasaur was merely a plant which was not watered enough to bloom into a flower, Ash had concluded. Giselle didn't explore the possibilities she could have and many positive attributes of Bulbasaur were left out.

Ash was impressed by the Defense and the Special Defense capabilities of Bulbasaur. He was in one word, an absolute tank in the making. Ash had devised that Bulbasaur was the pokemon to endure hits and drain out enemies till they are no longer able to battle.

His current move set was also in correspondence to that trait of Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur's move-set included Leech Seed, Sleep Power, Poison Power, Growth, Take Down and Vine Whip. Ash Ketchum was impressed.

He had cleverly strategized that Bulbasaur can go two routes to battle an enemy.

1st Route : All Out Offence while taking a few hits along the way. Bulbasaur had use Poison Powder on an enemy which will sap their health slowly. And then when they are affected by the poison he would use Leech Seed to sap more health from them while healing his own injuries. When their enemies would be more wobbly due to poison and unable to attack then Bulbasaur would boost his Attack and Special Attack stats with Growth. After using Growth even only one Take Down would be enough to Take Down(Pun) an enemy. This route was more suited to handle one-on-one battles.

2nd Route : Slow Draining. Here firstly Bulbasaur had to use Leech Seed on the enemy to restrict their movement and then use Sleep Powder to send them into a temporary sleep while their health would be slowly sapped away by Leech Seed. Bulbasaur would use Growth to boost his stats while his enemy was asleep and then give them a mighty surprise with either Vine Whip or Take Down to send them into unconsciousness. How funny. From sleep to unconsciousness.

Maybe in another dimension called Canon, Ash would have harshly criticized himself for defeating an enemy in its sleep which perhaps would have weakened him further. Not that he was that strong to begin with. Any trainer with a half-pint size brain would be enough to take him down...

...But nah! He was never a 'Goody Two Shoes'. He is a cold hearted bastard and a clever strategic thinker and damn right he was proud of himself for the fact. Bulbasaur would be most effective in the 2nd Route though.

So Ash decided that Bulbasaur would definetly fight in his Gym Battle.

Next up was a certain bloodthirsty electric 'kitten' on the way to becoming a 'lion'. Luxio and his electricity would be a boon to fight this battle. And lastly there was Kirlia. Kirlia had finally mastered Magical Leaf.

Kirlia was an currently a speedy sweeper on his team with his move-set Teleport, Magical Leaf, Confusion, Psybeam, Double Team and Calm Mind. Firstly Kirlia had to get as many Double Teams as possible to max his evasion. Then while the enemy was busy dealing with the clones he would get as many Calm Minds as possible to further boost his Special Attack and Special Defense stats. Then even ONE Magical Leaf (which would be supereffective on water pokemon by the way) would be enough to deal with any water type that comes his way. And if somehow his Double Team clones would not be enough then he had Teleport attack to dodge incoming attacks too.

'Cerulean Gym...I am coming'

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ash looked at the now restored and newly made gym...err...Wait a second...The fuck? Why wasn't there a single change in the building? Wasn't re-fabrication the point of new things?

...

...

...

Well whatever the fuck. He politely knocked on the door to the gym and waited. Soon the doors were opened by a rather tall man with a moustache who smiled at him, "Welcome to Cerulean Gym. You are a challenger I presume?"

"Yes" Ash stated with a curt polite nod.

The man was probably in his mid fifties. He had a grey walrus moustache and grey hairs. He was old. He wore a typical black blazer on top of a white shirt with formal grey pants...

...He typically looked like a Butler. What's next? His name would be Sebast -

"Ahh forgive my rudeness. I am Sebastian Morency and you are?" The man asked Ash with a smile and extended his hand towards Ash. Well there it goes. Ash almost laughed at the coincidence. Why in the name of Arceus were all butlers named Sebastian anyway?

"Ash Ketchum" Ash took the extended hand and shook it firmly with a polite nod, "...It's nice to meet you Mr. Morency"

The man smiled and welcomed Ash inside the gym. The gym was decorated by pure white tiles and had an Olympic size swimming pool in the middle with standing platforms. Ash assumed it to be the battle arena.

"Welcome challenger! We are the three - OH WAIT! IT'S YOU!!"

Ash looked upwards to see a massive platform descending from the roof carrying 3 familiar figures on it. A lady with pink hair (Lily) stumbled as soon as she noticed exactly who had entered to challenge them.

It was their mysterious savior from that day. The same boy with silver streaked raven hair. He wore the same full sleeved black red jacket which was left unzipped to show the white t-shirt underneath. He also wore the same dark blue pants with a black belt around his waist containing his pokeballs. He also had the familiar black fingerless...ornamental gauntlet thingies with purple stones on them which reached the crook of his arm. He had the same blank unreadable expression on his face with a disinterested stare in his cold blue eyes.

...Overall he looked pretty cool...Or hot...Nah, he looked like a cold hearted sarcastic cynical asshole...

"Greetings Gym Leader Lily, Daisy, Violet..." The boy stated in a deep monotonous voice with a curt nod to each of them...

'Geez, this guy would be Sabrina's wet dream...' The three sensational sisters thought with a sweatdrop as they were reminded of a certain 'cold bitch' of a psychic gym leader.

"Welcome Mi Ladies..." Sebastian stated with a smile, "...This is Ash Ketchum. He is here to challenge you three to a gym battle"

Ash said nothing as the three of them stared at him curiously. It was getting annoying. He thought with a mental twitch.

"...Not a man of many words are you?" Daisy, the blonde one with a small mole on her left cheek said cheekily.

"No" Ash replied in negative which caused all of them to sweatdrop.

"...Err..." The blunette among them (Violet) started awkwardly, "...So..." They had many questions in their minds but they were not sure they should ask or not. This boy practically gave off an aura that said that he lived with a strict 'Live and Let Live' policy of not bothering anyone and not being bothered himself.

"...Are we going to battle?" Ash asked. His patience was running thin as it is. He came here to battle not indulge in a small talk over a cup of tea.

Daisy smiled at him, "Okay then! We can talk later then. Let's battle first if you are so eager!" She clapped her hands and then bright lights lit up over the Olympic size swimming pool that Ash had assumed to be the arena.

He was right it seems.

Sebastian led them over to the battlefield and stood on a mechanical platform built for the umpire of the match.

He took out two flags, one green and another red from the inside of his blazer and pointed them in both directions. Soon with a few 'creaky' sounds 2 mechanical platforms were raised as if inviting Ash to step on one of them. Ash went to the one closest to him and stepped on the platform. The steel platform was soon raised a tad higher in the air.

Lily, Daisy and Violet stepped on the platform on the other end of the battlefield with the same thoughts in their minds, 'Let's see what you are capable of Ash Ketchum'

"This will be an official match between Ash Ketchum from...uhh..." Sebastian trailed off in the end awkwardly.

"Pallet Town" Came the curt reply from the green corner where Ash was standing.

"...Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town and Lady Daisy, Violet and Lily. Trainers send out your -"

"Hey! I'm back!!" Sebastian was interrupted by a particularly loud yell. Ash's eyebrows twitched in annoyance as he was about to release his first pokemon when a certain loud yell came from inside the Gym and a girl with orange hair tied in a lopsided ponytail entered through the door. She was carrying two bags of vegetables with her.

She seemed familiar to Ash...What was her name again? Bah! Like he gives a fuck about that, his current (interrupted) gym battle was much more important now.

"HEY! I KNOW YOU! YOU SAVED MY SISTERS THAT DAY!" She yelled out vibrantly. The girl dropped the vegetable bags as she saw that battle arena was currently occupied and a Gym battle was going to occur.

It was then that she noticed exactly who was going to fight her sisters. It was the same boy she saw that day...

...A mysterious hero who came out of nowhere to save her...How cliché...

She smiled brightly at him and waved at him, "Hi! Sorry for interrupting! But thanks! You remember me?"

"Yes I do" He replied shortly.

She smiled brighter, "...I -" She was interrupted by him though,

"Yes I remember you. You are Miss-Currently-Unimportant"

DONE! God dammit Ash. You just brought the hell's fury upon yourself. Anyway...My exams are pretty much over. Just one more exam, tomorrow and then YAHOOO!!! Anyway...Just the same old one-liner :
