Ash sat in his Pokemon Center room thinking about what had happened in the past 3 days during his stay in Cerulean City. Today he just got a Magikarp which he desired. But with a twist...When it evolves it will be a pain in the ass to tame the beast that this Magikarp would become.

He was now thinking about challenging the Cerulean Gym and making plans about it...Ash could no longer sleep at night without the face of the blonde rocket lady coming to haunt him in his nightmares which made him very tired during the day due to lack of sleep...It had been just one day since the whole Cerulean Gym fiasco and it would take about a week to repair the Gym. So he thought of an alternate...

North of Cerulean City there was a school for Pokemon Trainers which he had heard about from Professor Oak...It would be a good idea to go and train there for a week and then come back to challenge the Pokemon Gym.

He made his decision and started packing his belongings for a trip beyond the Nugget Bridge that led out of Cerulean City. He took out the Pokeball for Kirlia and released him.

"KIRLIAAA~" The psychic pokemon came out with an adorable cry. Kirlia turned to Ash and asked, 'What's the matter Ash?'

Ash turned to Kirlia and replied, 'We are going on a training trip of about one week. I want you to give the analysis of our current team as you are the smartest one here...'

Kirlia appeared thoughtful for a moment before he replied, 'Very well. Analysis complete. Firstly there is Luxio. Only one sentence is able to perfectly summarize him...A Perfect First Line Battler. His electric capabilities would be best to deal with the water types of Cerulean Gym. We just need to work on enhancing his defensive and evasive capabilities and he would be a perfect tank for the team who can REALLY drag on a match. Next up is Vibrava. She is also on the path to becoming a massive powerhouse of the team. Her offence capabilities are off charts so we need to work on defensive maneuvers and managing supereffective hits. Vibrava are also closely related to Bug types. So we need to teach her a few Bug type moves before she evolves into Flygon. Next up is Bagon. She is just 4 days old so I suggest we work on her physical conditioning. Give Magikarp some time to heal before we start his training. Lastly me. I am a special attacker who is a long range fighter. This hideous form...Fairy and Psychic is a pain in the ass because my defensive abilities are as good as dirt. I need to learn a few psychic moves like Reflect and Light Screen to increase defense and special defense. Lastly I need to learn the move Magical Leaf which would be a great help to combat the water type pokemon of Cerulean Gym...That's it'

Ash nodded and motioned Kirlia to follow him. Kirlia did as told and soon both of them reached the lower floor of the Pokemon Center. Ash went to Nurse Joy and said, "Greetings Nurse Joy. I must cut my reservation in this Pokemon Center short as I am going North of Cerulean City for training. Here are my keys..." He handed her a bunch of keys and bowed stoically, "...Farewell"

With that he left without another word.

As he walked in the streets of Cerulean City he received odd glances from the people...Whispers continued among the crowd...

"Hey look! He is the one who saved the Pokemon Gym..."
"But I heard that he has killed..."
"BAH! Screw that! Atleast he saved the gym..."

Ash ignored all those looks and glances and continued on his path towards the nugget bridge...Although somewhere deep from the corners of his mind he heard the word...Murderer. He shivered and shook his head to ignore the pang of guilt in his heart...

After about an hour of walk through the 'Aqua Blue' City he reached the golden colored bridge, Nugget Bridge...Ash turned to back to face Cerulean City, 'This is it then. Goodbye Cerulean. Meet you after a week'

With that he took his first steps outside Cerulean City.

TIME SKIP : ABOUT 5 HOURS LATER...

Ash sighed as he took out his packed up tent and started to make his camp. He took out all of his pokeballs and released all his pokemon one by one except Magikarp.

He took out his map and pointed to a specific spot, 'Guys...Currently we are outside Cerulean City. The Cerulean Gym will take about a week to repair. And so we are on a small training trip lasting for one week...I am going to train you all into the ground. The first step of our training is harnessing your innate abilities. As you all know you have some innate abilities. But currently you cannot use them at your own will. Take Luxio for example, he has 2 abilities Intimidate and Lightning Rod. But currently he cannot utilize them at will...Currently its night and Luxio is nocturnal, tonight I will only work with Luxio and since tomorrow we will begin...The Hell Week!" Ash said with a small grin...

'You couldn't find a lamer ass name could you?' Vibrava said with obvious sarcasm in her voice.

All others promptly face-faulted and Kirlia sweatdropped, 'You need to spend less time with Ash Vibrava...You are going to become a sarcastic, cynical asshole like him in no time at this rate...'

'I am not THAT bad...' Ash retorted which caused all his pokemon to look at him blankly...

"You know what? Screw it. Let's just get to training" Ash said and recalled all of his pokemon except Luxio and went to a nearby clearing with him after properly setting up his camp.

"Tonight we are going to harness your ability Intimidate. Many trainers have a stupid misconception that Intimidate is only used to lower the attack stat of your enemies. They forget another VERY crucial detail. Your evolution...Luxray is called the Gleam Eyes pokemon because their eyes glow when they hunt. Their eyes are perhaps the MOST developed optic senses on the whole planet. Luxray can even see through walls. And its all because of your eyes. Intimidate is deeply rooted to a pokemon's eyes too. So this makes us conclude that the ability Intimidate is the factor that would develop into the 'see-through' unique trait of a Luxray. Many trainers neglect this fact and their Luxray never develop the ability to see through objects...So what are you going to do is...Channel energy into your eyes..." Ash explained the whole thing to Luxio who raised an eyebrow, 'What do you mean by energy?'

'An excellent question. Let me explain it the easy way...All creatures on earth. From humans to Pokemon are born with their life forces...These life force inside them later on develop into the TYPE energy of the pokemon such as electric pokemon like you develop electric type energy, fire type pokemon develop fire energy. That's why learning a move from another type rather than your own natural type is very tough. You had difficulty to learn the Ice Fang remember?  The life force of humans never develops enough for them to use this life force as energy at will. But in some VERY RARE cases...Like me. The life forces are developed enough for those certain special humans to utilize...These humans are called Aura Guardians. They are the users of Aura. That is a story for another time...Now, as I was saying, this life force is MUCH more developed in pokemon than humans and so Pokemon can use their powers, like elemental powers by subconsciously using these life forces...Got it?' Ash asked Luxio who nodded.

'Good. I want you to look deep inside you. Even deeper than your electricity reserves to find this life force. It should be the core of your electric type energy. Use the power from that core and slowly guide it into your eyes...' Ash further instructed Luxio on that topic...

'Got it!' Luxio appeared giddy at the prospect of making his opponents wet their pants(Or panties? Do Pokemon even wear those?) just by looking into their eyes.

Ash nodded to himself as he sat faraway from Luxio practicing on his Aura capabilities. Now that he had got to the second phase of Aura Manipulation he should practice more to get this new ability under control...

TIME SKIP : About a few hours...

Ash's eyes widened as a loud animalistic howl tore through the silence of the night. Ash had fallen asleep practicing his Aura abilities that he had left Luxio trying to unlock his ability Intimidate alone...

He stared with his eyes wide open to see Luxio covered in madly crackling electricity howling loudly with red eyes...

'Luxio?' Ash asked unsurely as he approached the feline electric type. Said feline turned to look at Ash with what could have been described as...FURY in his eyes...

Ash pushed his hand forward hurriedly to form a shield just in time before a claw could rip him into shreds...This was NOT Luxio.

"Calm down Luxio" Ash said commandingly. Luxio growled and sneered before he lunged at Ash. Ash sidestepped Luxio's attempt to tear him and his eyes hardened...Something had happened to Luxio.

Ash charged up Aura into his right fist and delivered a deadly upper-hook to Luxio's jaw. The electricity around the feline died down as the body of Luxio fell down unconscious...

Ash sat contemplatively about what just had happened right now...Luxio was a carnivorous...A downright openly bloodthirsty carnivorous to be exact. But Luxio would not turn on his comrades like this...The sheer amount of aggression he saw in those eyes made him shudder...

...Then what could have caused this? Luxio was trying to learn Intimidate wasn't he? So what caused this to occur?

He wondered about it for a moment. He sat down on the dew stained grass of the clearing as the light from his campfire and the full moon illuminated his surroundings - WAIT A MINUTE!!

FULL MOON! Of course! He looked over at the unconscious form of Luxio and then at the full moon above the sky...Of course. That was his answer. Luxio was going to evolve soon...A pokemon like Luxray had a certain gene which was called 'The Werewolf' gene by scientists...Quite funny because it was a fact that the pokemon Luxio cannot evolve without the light of the full moon. It was known that the 'Werewolf' gene when activated by the light of the full moon, the Luxio would suffer from unexpected mood-shifts which may cause aggression. His Luxio was going to evolve very soon...

Today Luxio got the first sight of the full moon and so...there is about one month after what Luxio is supposed to evolve. The prospect of owning a full-grown mature electric lion like Luxray made Ash giddy...Ash heard a groan beside him, 'Ugh...What the hell happened?' Ash turned back to Luxio slowly gaining consciousness.

'Congratulations Luxio. You are going to evolve soon. About a month, give or take a few weeks from now on I would estimate...' Ash said merrily to Luxio.

Luxio's eyes widened to comical proportions and his face slowly split into a grin. He couldn't believe his ears! He was going to become a Luxray like his mum used to tell him about! That brought a sad smile to his face as he thought about the loving face of his mother Luxray in the darkness of his den...

Then he noticed the small bleeding scratch on Ash's arms, 'Where did you get that scratch Ash?'

Ash shrugged, 'Its nothing to worry about. I fell down' Luxio nodded at the acceptable answer. Ash thought the next part bitterly, 'Sorry Luxio, you are better off without knowing that it was you. You would drown in guilt if I told you' Actually one of Luxio's claws had managed to hit Ash when he was suffering from the effects of his Werewolf gene.

'Hey Ash! Look at this!' Luxio took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He slowly gathered his life force into his eyes and opened them to reveal red concentric circles which looked rather scary...His ability Intimidate was unlocked.

Ash grinned at his Pokémon's achievement, 'Great. Now I think we are gonna breeze through Cerulean Gym with no problem...We will work on many things tomorrow. Let's get some rest' With that Ash went to his camp and fell asleep in his tent...

DONE! I deeply apologize for the heavy delay but there is a good reason you know? I am having online exams soon. I have to study. My Study time is starting to take up a lot of my hobby time (Writing this story) and thus the heavy delay between chapters...Also there was not much action in this chapter...I know. It was just a filler to get Ash out of Cerulean City and begin the training of his pokemon.

And I need some help. Urgent! Can anyone tell me the name of the arrogant girl in the Pokemon school who made fun of Ash and fought Misty with a Graveller in the anime? Please tell me if you know.
