Time seemed to slow down for Ash Ketchum as he saw the bullet come towards him. He knew this was the end. He accepted his fate and closed his eyes waited for his imminent death if not for a blindingly bright flash…

The entire room was blinded by a white flash and the bullet stopped just ONE MILLIMETER from Ash’s forehead…
The bullet was surrounded in a bright pinkish-purple glow. Ash looked to his left to see reveal a new Pokemon with slender green legs and a white top which resembled the figure of a ‘dancing ballerina’ with 2 red horns on his head.
Ralts…His longtime best friend had evolved to save his life.

“KIRRRRLIIIIAAAA~” The newly evolved Pokemon shrieked and with a flick of his fingers the bullet was thrown to the side like an insignificant worm. Ash and his newly evolved Pokemon looked towards the now horror stricken face of Executive Proton…

Ash and Kirlia turned to Proton with menacing red eyes boiling in rage when suddenly the wall behind them was burst open by a terrific force and there was a majestic roar, “SSSTTTTTEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLL!”

The Rocket Hideout in Mount Moon was now officially reduced to rubbles as an absolutely MASSIVE Steelix with a familiar figure of Brock Stone on its head…

Proton was now horrified. Yup! Handling a little snot-nosed brat was something but handling an Elite Top 10 Kanto Gym leader with his original Pokemon was something else entirely.

Brock got down from the massive steel serpent and his eyes squinted at Proton, “Executive Proton…What an honor to meet a man of your stature…” Brock said with heavy sarcasm lacing his voice, “…Officers arrest him!” He yelled and signaled to the police officers who entered through the broken down wall.
The officers immediately removed the pistol from Proton’s hands and he was handcuffed…Before going away Proton spat at Ash’s direction, “This is not over boy…”

When everything settled down Ash and Brock engaged in a staring contest for what felt like hours…

Officer Jenny just beside Brock sweatdropped as Ash stared at Brock’s squinted eyes for about 5 minutes...

“I don’t know whether to be proud of you or beat the recklessness out of you…” Brock finally spoke at last.

Ash just kept on his deadpan face and replied, “…I was...There was no other way…See those Clefairies over there…” Ash pointed to the Clefairy statues, “…Their very essence of life was drained from them Brock. If I was late, I don’t know how many more would have died such horrific deaths…”

Brock winced as he saw the look in Ash’s eyes…They were not how the eyes of a 13 year old should be…They were so…so cold. They were void of life…Of emotions…Those eyes had seen death before this.

Brock went past Ash to inspect the Clefairy/Statues. He gazed into each one of them. They truly were lifeless. Those Clefairies had died truly horrible deaths. Their life force…their very essence of life sucked away from them.

And then suddenly there were a few brilliant white flashes into the room. About 10 such flashes later, there stood 10 Pokemon who were pink in color…They had fairy wings on their backs…
They were the Clefable who resided in Mount Moon…

Brock’s and Ash’s eyes widened as the Clefable started a weird dance around the stone that was kept in the pedestal in the room. They circled around the stone and kept on wiggling their fingers and their eyes glowed a brilliant blue.
The massive stone on the pedestal started to glow too….And then when they stopped dancing…They formed a circle around the rock and their fingers were pointed towards the now glowing rock…
And then…

The world was consumed by a flash of white.

When Ash and Brock opened their eyes their vision was a little blurry due to the bright flash. They could hear noises in the room.

They completely opened their eyes to see the ‘plaster’ on the Clefairy statues wearing off and soon when the ‘plaster’ was dusted off those little fairies came back to life…

“…Dear God…This is a once a lifetime event…” A hoarse voice said behind them. They turned back to see a banged up Seymour rubbing his eyes and chuckling painfully, “…Thank you Ash. Had it not for you, I have been dead from Zubat bites and could not see this…”

“…This is the legendary Reincarnation ability of Clefable. Myths say that Clefable can bring back the dead on cost of the essence of the moon. ‘The Essence Of The Moon’ described in the legend was the massive rock…The Moon Stone that fell on earth as a meteor. All the time it was in Mount Moon…Hahaha…I am gonna be famous with this discovery. The Scientist Block is now gonna worship me” Seymour said with a grin.

Ash responded with a smile, “Thanks Seymour…Had it not for you the rockets would have succeeded in whatever they were do – WHAT THE?!”

Ash was interrupted by yet ANOTHER bright flash that came from the egg in his hand…

“ASH THE EGG IS HATCHING!” Yelled Brock.

Ash quickly took out the egg from the incubator in his hand and put in down on the ground. Big cracks were already developing on the egg shell.

Soon there was ANOTHER BRIGHT FLASH which made Brock wonder if there was something marked on calendar as ‘International Flash Day’ which he may have missed and then a small voice said, “Ba-Gon-Ba?” Which translates to, ‘Dad is that you?’

Ash smiled, ‘Dad huh? Leafy is gonna have a concussion…Hello Bagon, I am your trainer from now on. You can call me Dad I guess…’

‘Daddy talks to Bagon. How?’ Ash sweatdropped. Why the hell was Bagon referring to itself in third person? Oh yeah right…Baby Speech.

‘Daddy is special. So Daddy can talk to Bagon and leave it at that okay?’ Ash replied Bagon’s question.

‘OK. Bagon wanna eat. Bagon hungry’ Bagon said while jumping on his limbs with excitement. Ash shook his head with a smile, he searched his bag for some Coba Berries which were supposed to be liked by young dragons. He took out a handful and brought them in front of Bagon’s mouth. Then…

CHOMP!

Oh Dear that must have hurt. Bagon bit down on Ash’s hand along with the berries. If not for 6 years of painful tortu – I mean training – under Machamp Ash would have been screaming like a little girl for sure. Twitches formed everywhere on Ash’s face and he slowly took out his aching hand from Bagon’s mouth.

‘Bagon. You were supposed to eat the berries. Not my hand’ Ash said monotonously.

‘Bagon sowwy…’ Bagon said with tearful eyes and Ash melted into the ground in a moment. Weren’t dragons supposed to be badass not this CUTE?!

Brock snickered behind Ash and Ash glared at him.

“Welcome to the world little guy! Go on Ash. Catch Bagon now” Brock encouraged the new father. Ash nodded and took out a white Premier Ball from his pocket that he was saving for Bagon only.

He slightly tapped Bagon’s head with it and Bagon disappeared in a flash of red light. Ash took out his Pokedex and looked at it, “New capture. Species – Bagon. This Bagon is female with the ability Rock Head. Known moves are Tackle, Rage, Growl, Dragon Pulse (Locked Egg Move), Outrage(Locked Egg Move) and Hurricane (Locked Egg Move)”

“Dear God I can’t wait to see her evolve into a Salamence…” Brock murmured seeing the legendary move set.

Ash nodded while he was in deep thought. Now he had 4 Pokemon with 3 of them in their second evolutions…Then he picked up something funny actually. All of his Pokemon had 3 evolution forms as of now and one of them was a pseudo-legendary. All in all…he was making quite a fearsome squad.

Then Ash yawned turned to Brock with weary eyes, “Brock…I must apologize but I am very tired. I had to resort to THAT power many a times. I think I will make a small tour to dreamland…” With that Ash collapsed onto the ground snoring softly.

Brock smiled and shook his head. Officer Jenny beside Brock smiled too, “That kid is something else eh?”

“That he is my dear Jen. Now that this is over…will you go on a date with me?” Brock asked hopefully.

“Keep dreaming Stone-Man…” She said with a small pink blush. Brock chuckled to himself as this was nothing new. Just another day in the life of the Pewter City Gym Leader. And so with a sigh he picked up the unconscious body of his surrogate brother and headed towards the exit.

DONE! Brock is not actually Brock if he doesn’t flirt with any Nurse Joy or Officer Jenny now is he? HAHA!
