Hey Wattpad!

New chapter for the EIGHT fans who read this:)

Not really a lot to say...

Oh, and the video is because I spent about two hours freaking out over how sexy his voice sounds now:P

UPDATE 2/18/2013: Dedication is because she made the cover on the side!!!

CHAPTER FOUR

Rania moaned as she chewed on her sandwich, earning a couple of odd glances in our direction.

“God, if you love the sandwich so much please get a room.” I teased, taking a bite of my own. Subway was amazing. The best place ever. In my opinion, and apparently Rania’s too.

“I would. I really would. Maybe one day I’ll convince Matthew to let me eat it off of him.” She winked.

I, however, just frowned. “I have no idea how the hell you would do that. I mean, seriously, I get ice-creams and whipped cream, but a sandwich? How would that work?”

“Easy. Buy a sandwich, and then eat it off of his di-,”

I cut her off by throwing an ice cube at her.

We headed back to her house about half an hour later, and spent the rest of the day watching Pretty Little Liars. It has drama and it has mystery, while still holding on to a little romance. How can a girl not love it?

At 6:30PM, I decided it was finally time to head home. “I’ll see you Monday, ok?” I hugged Rania.

“See you Monday. Now run before my mom tries to kidnap you.” Rania shoved me towards the door, making me laugh.

“But I want a cookie to take back!” I whined. Misty had been baking cookies and brownies all last night, and now had way more than needed.

“Are you leaving?” Misty asked.

“Yeah, I told my dad I’d be home at 7.” I smiled apologetically. I would probably stay here longer if I didn’t have homework.

“Well, would you mind doing me a favor?” I shook my head. “Can you take two pans of brownies and two boxes of cookies home? I made over seven of each so we’ll be ok for the next few days. Maybe Rania could sell them for a bake sale or something.” Misty said.

“Well, if it’s doing you a favor…” I trailed off, smiling. I was getting food, I was happy.

“Definitely. I’ll help you take them to your car.” She grinned, heading back into the kitchen.

Another 15 minutes later, I walked through my front door.

“Hey, dad. I’m home!” I shouted.

“Hey, how was the sleepover?” He asked.

“It was pretty good. We just watched some movies. Oh, and Misty baked cookies. Want some?” I held out the pans and boxes. “There are brownies on the pans too.” I told him.

He smiled. He loved Misty’s cooking. Then again, everyone did. Every time we had a Choir party or something, Rania would bring stuff Misty had made, and it would go faster than anything anyone else bought.

We spent the rest of the evening just watching TV together. I took an Advil discreetly, glad my dad hadn’t noticed the fact that I was currently nursing a killer hangover (mine were just headaches multiplied by a million; I’d never actually thrown up because of one before), as well as an unfamiliar soreness between my legs. It was like a constant reminder that I’d actually had sex last night, but I couldn’t complain. I already felt better. It was like I’d been subconsciously worrying about it, stressing even, and now I wasn’t. I was definitely feeling a lot more optimistic.

I sighed, wondering what I should do now. It was 10PM now, but it wasn’t like I had any plans this weekend.

My thoughts drifted to the party, and I couldn’t help the smile. Flirting with Cameron was fun, having sex with him was mind-blowing, but I knew we’d never go on that date. The Monday after it was supposed to happen, I’d take the password off for him, but until then it was going to be fun to watch him struggle with it.

I checked my Facebook, seeing I’d been tagged in a couple of photos from last night’s party. In both I was talking to Cameron, and already there were a couple of girls complaining that they hadn’t seen or spoken to him.

I laughed, deciding to let them fight it out; it wasn’t like I cared. And besides, we weren’t telling anyone except Rania and Matthew, so it wasn’t like I could say anything to stop the arguments.

My phone buzzed slightly, and I laughed at the text.

What did you do to Cameron’s phone? He’s borrowing his mom’s because his is locked!

I chuckled, typing back a reply quickly.

I locked it(: I told him if he wanted a date, he had to figure out the password. There’s a date on the calendar for when he can come, and it has a time as well. I also put my number in there.

            Her reply came in seconds.

Wow, Tay(: Way to be mean! Any chance even I can  know the password? Or the date time for that matter?

I laughed harder. I was willing to bet Cameron was either with her and Matthew, or he stole her phone. Or maybe she was just being my best friend.

Sure, but I’m call me, ok? I don’t want Cameron knowing.

In less than a minute, she was calling.

            “Hey!”

“Tell me!” Rania demanded, making me laugh.

“Alright, I put it for next Friday, 7PM at Pizza Hut, and you and Matthew have to be there too so if he doesn’t get it I won’t be a loner.” I told her, still smiling.

“Ooh clever! So what’s the password?” She asked.

“I’m not telling. For all I know, I’ve already given away too much.” I told her.

She sighed at me. “I really shouldn’t have worried, should I? You’re seriously doing too… ok… right now.”

I laughed again, unable to stop. Damn I really was feeling too optimistic right now. “Is that a bad thing?”

“Not really, I guess. I just hope you find someone worth it one day.”

“Yeah, I probably will. When I graduate from college or something.” I admitted, rolling onto my bed. It was so comfy…

“When you meet a guy you could fall for, I will seriously start laughing at you.” Rania said, before adding, “and then I’ll say ‘I told you so’ when the sex is better. Go on, tell me I was right about the sex not being as good as you thought.” Rania sounded so conceited I snorted.

“Actually, if sex is better than what I experienced, I’m going to probably die from it.” I told her.

Rania gasped. “What do you mean?

“I mean, Ray, that the sex was so freaking mind-blowing that I almost passed out. If being in love makes it better than that, I don’t want it. I’d physically die from the pleasure.” I explained. I wasn’t uncomfortable talking about this stuff with her. After all, we talked about it a lot of the time.

“So, he was good once. Your point?”

I groaned; she didn’t get it. “No, we had sex twice, and the second time was even better than the first. I swear, he did this one thing and I almost passed out!” I told her, honestly.

Rania whistled under her breath. “Damn, girl. How about another sleepover for comparing?”

I checked the time; it was 10:30PM. “Sure, I’ll see if I can come down. I have some homework.” I coughed, hoping she got that I was using that as my excuse.

“Yeah, I don’t get it either, so come over!” Rania hung up, and I quickly grabbed my bag, throwing the clothes from last night into my laundry basket.

“Hey, dad, I’m going back over to Rania’s. She doesn’t get something on the homework so I’m going to spend the night.” I told him.

He just waved, to absorbed in his game. I’d text him when I got there anyway, making sure he knew I wasn’t kidnapped or something.

It wasn’t unusual for me to do this; go to Rania’s for the night, and then end up sleeping over the next night as well. I’d probably live there if my dad let me.

I walked in, saying a quick hi to Misty who hugged me and acted like she hadn’t seen me in years, before heading to Rania’s room.

“So, I think I forgot to ask some serious details.” She started as soon as I shut the door.

            “Like what?”

“Like can you give me a minute by minute detail list?”

I laughed. “Well, considering we lasted four hours the first time…” I began, and her mouth fell open.

“How long did it take for you to find him at the party? I started calling you about thirty minutes after it started.”

“Actually, he found me just a couple of minutes after I left you. I went to the drink table and he came over to hit on me.” I told her.

“I thought I told him to stay away from you!” She hissed.

“He didn’t realize that it was the same Taylor until after. Besides, he called me Cutie for the first five or so minutes.” I explained, and told her every detail I could remember, up until we reached the bedroom.

“Wait, so you managed to make him lose his own game, and follow you like a lost puppy, in just fifteen minutes? Damn, girl.” Rania whistled, making me bow playfully.

“Why, thank you. I take that as a compliment.” I laughed. “Anyway, so we reached the guest room,” I continued the story, making sure to include what we did, and what I could remember of what he said, before getting to the end of the first four hours, “and then he did something really weird. He told me to open my eyes.” Rania gasped, and I nodded. “Yeah, it was weird. It was also really hard. Seriously, having an orgasm with your eyes open is the biggest challenge I’ve done in my life.”

Rania sighed. “Tay, you really don’t get it, do you?” She asked. I shook my head. “There’s a sort of unspoken rule with guys, according to Matthew, that a guy never asks a one night stand to open her eyes. You can read their emotions too clearly and it makes the girl feel attached or something. You only ever do it if you love the person, or if you’re serious.”

I frowned. “Then why did he ask me to? I mean, that makes sense, and I have to admit it definitely helped me finish, but why would Cameron ask me to do it if he knew we were just a onetime deal?”

Rania shrugged. “I don’t know, but I’m definitely telling Matthew that part if you don’t mind?”

“Nah, I don’t care. Just leave out specific details. You can also tell him I thought Cameron was very talented. That way, Cameron can’t get all pissed I was talking about him.” I rolled my eyes.

Rania snorted. “Like he’d care. Didn’t you see him? Seriously, I never thought I’d see the day he has girl problems.”

We were both quiet for a bit, watching whatever show was on her TV right now.

And that was how we spent the rest of the weekend. I admitted easily that I was probably going to try and hook up with another guy at the next party for comparison reasons, making Rania roll her eyes. Now that she knew I didn’t get too attached too easily, I’d be able to get away with a lot more.

“What are you going to do about Cameron at school though?” Rania asked.

I groaned. “I have no idea. I’m kind of hoping he’ll have forgotten all about it and go back to being a player. If he doesn’t try talking to me, I’ll just unlock his phone to be nice.” I told her.

She laughed. “His phone’s still locked? What will you do if he doesn’t get the password before Friday night?”

“I’ll unlock his phone, apologize, and then tell him that he doesn’t get another chance for a date.” I shrugged. I hadn’t really thought about it, but that made sense to me. I didn’t ever want this attachment, so why would I try to encourage it?

Rania frowned. “Please try letting him down easy. It’s not every day the player wants a girl to stick around.”

I nodded. “I’ll try. No promises.”

The next week was definitely weird.

For starters, Cameron found out where my first period class was, and decided to walk me there on Monday. This became a routine thing throughout the week.

Second, he sat with me and Rania at lunch.

And third, he wouldn’t shut up about the password.

At first he thought it was something about me, and asked me so many questions about myself that I had to tell him to shut up before he became classified as obsessed.

I’d been asked by way too many people (mainly guys surprisingly) if I was dating Cameron.

This happened all week, and by Friday, I was seriously ready to kill him.

“Hey, babe.” Cameron said, hugging me from behind as he sat down at lunch.

I rolled my eyes. “Don’t call me babe. Seriously, do you have some sort of abandonment issue?”

“Only if you leave me, Cutie.” He smirked.

“Whatever, Player.” I smirked back, knowing he hated the nickname. I felt a small victory as he frowned.

            “Harsh words.”

“I call it honesty.” I told him, turning back to Rania. Matthew had first lunch, not second with us, so she was forced to deal with Cameron and me all week.

“So, Ray, are you going to Jack’s party tonight?” I asked, taking a bite of my burger.

She nodded. “You’re sleeping over, right?”

“Yeah, I’ll tell my dad we’re working on something for school. Like that dumb Health project.” I told her.

“You know we could actually do the dumb Health project and get it over with this weekend.” Rania said, and we both paused, considering it. Doing a hard project while hung-over…

She started laughing first. “Sure, but we’ll probably just give up when we realize how hard it is.”

I swallowed the rest of the burger. “That’s what she said.”  I choked out.

“So, you’re going tonight?” Cameron asked, reminding me he was still there.

“Yes. It starts at 8, right?” I asked.

“Yeah, want me to pick you up?” he winked.

“No, thanks. I have a ride.” I sighed. I get that we slept together once, but he was seriously starting to act like a little lost puppy.

“Oh.” He frowned, and I shook my head at Rania.

“So, how are you and Matthew?” I asked, trying to zone Cameron out again. His hand brushed my back, making small circular motions with his thumb. I let myself lean into it, enjoying the calming sensation. It didn’t matter if I didn’t want an attachment; he gave good mini-massages.

Rania’s expression changed from amused to dreamy. “He’s amazing. Really amazing. I told my mom that we’d had sex before, so she let me stay at his house last night.” She sighed. “He does this thing with his hands and trust me, it feels so good.”

Cameron coughed. “Hello? I’m sitting right here.” He said, awkwardly.

“We really don’t care. You can even pass that along to Matthew if you want.” Rania retorted.

“Whatever.” Cameron stopped the mini-massage, draping his arm over my shoulder. I pushed it off. “By the way, Tay, do you know some guy called Wesley Night?” Cameron asked me.

“Depends on why.” I said, wondering how Wesley and Cameron knew each other.

“He yelled at me yesterday to stay the hell away from his girlfriend.”

Wesley told him to stay away from me? The thought made me remember the party last week, and Chelsea’s “warning”. I hadn’t seen her since that night, and let it go to the back of my mind again.

I groaned, turning back to the conversation. “That’s my ex. We broke up a couple of weeks ago. I guess he’s still taking it a little hard.”

“Seriously? Why did you break up?” Cameron asked.

“He fell in love with me, and wouldn’t put out.” I said. I didn’t care; Cameron could say what he wanted about that.

            “Huh. Excuse me.” Cameron left.

            My mouth fell open.

“Really? That’s all it took for me to get rid of him?” I asked, slightly annoyed.

“Apparently. Anyway, are we still going to Pizza Hut tonight?” Rania asked as the bell rang.

“Yeah, the party doesn’t even start until 8 so we have time to eat and make sure we look good beforehand.” I said, standing up and leading the way to Choir.

I still wanted Pizza Hut, and it wasn’t my fault if Cameron didn’t get the password. Maybe Matthew would end up inviting him anyway, but considering I’d asked Rania to threaten him with no sex if he said anything, I wasn’t too worried.

The final couple of hours passed easily, and it seemed like in no time at all I was rushing out the door in jeans and a shirt, hoping my dad didn’t notice that I was wearing heals and make-up.

“Taylor,” my dad began, and I paused in the doorway nervously.

            “Yeah, dad?”

“I just wanted to let you know I’m going on a date tomorrow, so can you see if you can spend the night at Rania’s?” he asked.

I nodded, surprised. “Sure. I’ll take some extra clothes with me now. Have fun on the date.” I headed back to my room, grabbing some more sweats, jeans, and underwear.

My dad had a date.

An honest to God date. He hadn’t dated anyone since my mom left him four years ago for some rich doctor.

I was happy for him, but it was still shocking.

I drove, still in automatic mode, to Rania’s. I didn’t know exactly why it seemed like such a shock, but it was. Was he really finally getting over the heartless bitch I had to call a mother?

“Hey! What happened to visiting more?” Misty welcomed me, giving me a hug.

I hugged back automatically. “Sorry.” I said, unsure of why. I was running on pilot, still unable to process that my dad had a date.

“What’s wrong?” She asked, forcing a smile from me. Somehow she always knew when we had problems.

“It’s not wrong just… shocking.” I summarized. I’d been thinking that word for the past few minutes.

“What happened?” She forced me to sit down, and I wondered vaguely where Rania was.

“My dad has a date tomorrow.” I told her.

Her mouth fell open. “That’s great! It’s good to see he’s getting over her.” Misty grimaced. Misty used to know my mom, and was devastated when she learned just how shallow my mom really was. Now we never gave her a name, just said ‘she’ or ‘her’.

“It is great, it’s just surprising. I just hope she’s nice. My dad doesn’t deserve another bitch.” I shrugged, seeing Rania in the doorway, frowning.

“What’s going on?” She asked.

I explained about my dad, and she smiled. “Finally! Maybe she’ll have a really hot son for you.” Rania laughed, winking.

I smiled back; these two girls always knew exactly what to say to get me over anything.

“Don’t you girls’ have a date to get ready for?” Misty asked.

“Sort of. It’s only a date if someone figures out how to unlock their phone.” I smirked, causing Misty to roll her eyes.

“I was just trying to get rid of you.”

“But I thought you loved
