" Three people have seemed to have left the case. "

We continued to work. I organized papers and filed them and helped him think about possible theories. I had been working for three days in this case. So I stayed the day with him in his hotel suite sorting through papers. I looked at the time and saw that it was late.

I walked through the door with Watari following behind me. We walked to the garage beside the hotel and he drove us away from the hotel L was staying in. Watari dropped me off by the bus stop.

I got out of the car and started walking towards my house. 

   " Y/n! "

I turned around and saw Light running up to me. He had a small smile on his face. When he reached me he gave me a small hug. we continued walking with his arm around my shoulder keeping me close.

   " I missed you at school and cram school today. Where were you? "

   " I was doing work. "

   " At the bakery? "

   " Kind of. The bakery has gotten popular lately and we are going to expand. Since the boss is away on vacation she asked me to set up the meeting and to help expand. "

   " That takes up a full day of school? "

   " Yes, because she had to coach me in the art of business. She said if I didn't come then I would be fired and she would ruin my life. "

   " That's very harsh. "

   " It is. I need this job so I couldn't say no. "

He chuckled and we said goodbye. I walked to my house and laid on my bed instantly passing out from sleep exhaustion. 

   ( Light's P.O.V. )

I turned towards Ryuk how was standing on my bed and paid attention.

   " I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. What makes a shinigami and a human who have a Death note different? Well, there are two things and why do shinigami have to write the names of humans in their Death notes? Do you have any ideas? "

However, if a shinigami drops his death note and a human picks it up the shinigami can then make a deal with the human so the human can have the shinigami eyes. But only if you agree to the deal.
